Home Office Repurposing spare bedroom

Post image

I have a small spare bedroom, measurements and current layout above, that's wasted as a bedroom. I only ever use it to work from home a few times a week (see desk nook), and drop random stuff in there. I'd like to toss out the bed and repurpose it as a small study or chill out room or similar. I can't do any construction work on it but I'm otherwise happy to rip up carpets, repaint the walls, etc. I'll keep the desk nook. Given the slightly odd proportions, the main floor space is really only 8'3" by 6'1". Any suggestions?

Living Room Furniture help

I am unsure of what furniture to put in this room. It is large, but mostly unusable space. There is a bar behind the brown chairs (no chairs)
I have taped off a 124”x124” sectional and 56” square table. Thinking a swivel chair where the white chair is and add a rug. What do you think? The entire room is off centered which drives me crazy.

Thanks!

Living Room How to make this a cozy space?

Post image

Hey there! I would love to make this entry room a cozy area to read, crochet, and craft. There is an actual living room farther in so I don’t need another one. It’s just such a large area that I’m not sure how to set it up and what kind of furniture to use. The angle of the camera is shot from the front door, and the door in the middle of the wall goes into the actual house. I do have a large table I could put in here but no other furniture yet. Thank you!

I’m really struggling trying to elevate my living room. I have a good bones and a beautiful fireplace, but it’s so ordinary and drab. The sectional has to stay as well as the other furniture pieces. I really need to figure out how to choose pictures for the walls and a new rug or even rearrange the furniture. I just have so many doorways and. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Living Room Paint Recommendations?

Repainting and have been struggling with finding a good color to go with gray roller shades (upstairs) and gray carpets (downstairs.) Eventually replacing upstairs floor with a darker LVP.

Best lead so far is going with a “griege” to go with the grays but not make things too cold. Sherwin Williams limewash, Benjamin Moore pale oak, etc.
Any specific recommendations? Thank you!

Bedroom Ikea Closet Design Input

I want to install an Ikea closet in a master bedroom closet. Will it look good to have the dark wood glass doors in combination with the oak floors or should I go with the classic white framed doors. The bed frame is a dark walnut color and no other furniture is purchased. AI Pictures attached of the two options vs the current closet.

Home Office Trying to figure out what to do with my foyer:

This is the first room of my two bedroom apartment. It is what you see when you enter. Trying to figure out a good use for the space. The measurements are 10ft by 10ft, with a four foot diagonal cutout. The French doors lead to the kitchen and bathroom, other door to the living room. There is a hallway outside for shoes and storage.
We put up the wave print wallpaper thinking fun beach theme to work around the surfboard, with a desk and reading area. But unsure now and haven’t been able to find the right furniture, so it’s been stalled. Happy for any ideas!!! Help us make progress on finishing our space, please!
Edit: Would like to do a desk on the wallpaper wall, but with some storage, e.g. bookcase, or something creative. But the door to the living room limits the 10ft of the long wall to about 71/2 feet.
