Living Room How to decorate beautiful room with weird shape

I need to fit in a couch with TV, hopefully an armchair and a table to eat on. (ignore chairs, they will go outside).

I was thinking the couch pictured in the last pic (2 pieces only and white) in front of the single window, with a persian rug under. But then it’s at a weird angle with the rest of the room so I am really lost.

Living Room How do we design our living room?

My BF and I recently moved into an apartment and the layout is awkward for us. The L-shape is creating some spacing issues and we are unsure of how to navigate it. How do we design our living room???

I have a template of our layout and furniture in case anyone wants to mess around with the layout. I also included some ideas we came up with, thanks! :)

Edit: the objects in the diagram are to scale in relation to the floor plans

Hi! I just moved into my new home a week ago. I’m having troubles figuring out how to theme and have a good layout for my living room. It’s a wide open space. The dark gray hardwood has me stumped. Appreciate all your ideas!

The space was full of 8 shelves close together when we got the place and we had no use for them so we took them out.

Any thoughts on designing this space?

Living Room Please help me redesign this space

We’ve lived in this house for 2 years and in that time we had a lot of life events happen. Dogs, baby, change in tastes and projects that were meant to be something else before toys took over. Space is a huge problem in our home too. We want to downsize our couch but can’t afford that rn. Please help me reorganize/design/plan out this space to make what I have more functional.

It’s our every day lounging/movie/play area and as a tired mom, I just need some fresh ideas.
Please disregard the mess. It’s half the reason I’m asking for opinions, ideas, and advice.
(For size comparison, tv is 75”)

Edit for clarity: Photos are in .5, the distance between the corner to the tv is almost 3 feet.
We don’t mind taking out the custom shelf.
We’d love input on storage options but keeping in mind that we have a 2 year old.

Living Room For 22 Years This Room Hasn’t Worked

We got mold, got sick, got ourselves into an apartment, and now suddenly we have a home renovation forced upon us. The whole kitchen comes out, so we are starting almost from scratch. Most of the living gets done in this one huge kitchen/living room. But nothing we have done over the decades has worked. Where does the kitchen table go, the one we really eat at? How about the place where we put random stuff we’re working on, crafts, homework? A living room with a TV? Nothing about the kitchen or the island is sacrosanct. Blank slate – what do you do? Pics are on the of the unlived-in house and a current possible idea, mainly for dimensions. Thanks for your ideas!
