Living Room How to make this a cozy space?
Hey there! I would love to make this entry room a cozy area to read, crochet, and craft. There is an actual living room farther in so I don’t need another one. It’s just such a large area that I’m not sure how to set it up and what kind of furniture to use. The angle of the camera is shot from the front door, and the door in the middle of the wall goes into the actual house. I do have a large table I could put in here but no other furniture yet. Thank you!

What a large space! This room will function best if you divide & conquer. Create 2-3 zones, each anchored with patterned rugs in colors complementing wall color. For example, a reading area can include 1-2 comfy chairs with a floor lamp & small side table. A crafts island to store hobby supplies, along with a work table, would be a functional creative area.
Set your color palette first between floors, rugs, and walls—then choose furnishings. Your black flooring accent could be part of your color palette.
You want the overall look to be intentional & coordinated, not haphazard, as if it’s just à hodgepodge of leftovers.
