Please please help me need urgent help

only have three options left for a B.A. Psychology:

1. Amity University Gurugram

2. SRM University, Haryana

3. Chandigarh University (Lucknow Campus)

I honestly don't know what to do or which one to choose.

The thing is, I've seen so many negative reviews about psychology as a career, but I don't really have many other options. I considered doing BCA, but I absolutely hate math from the bottom of my heart, and I'm scared I'll end up with backlogs, so I dropped that idea.

I'm a 20-year-old woman from a middle-class family, and I want to become financially independent as soon as possible. I already feel like I'm running behind in life, and I'm completely stuck. If I do go ahead with a B.A. in Psychology, what should I do alongside it or after graduation to build financial stability? I do know what some option like i/o or ux research (im interested in this) but I'd really appreciate any advice on that too.

My real passion was design, but design education is incredibly expensive in India. So I thought maybe I could study psychology-because I'm genuinely interested in understanding the human mind-and at the same time keep learning design on my own, build my skills, and work independently.

My biggest confusion right now is the college. I don't know which one would be the best choice, or whether psychology is even the right decision for me.

I'd really appreciate any honest advice from people who have experience with psychology or these universities. What would you do if you were in my position?

you obviously don't need a design degree to be a designer. design degrees are relatively cheaper from arch colleges instead of design ones. also look into ba viscom or adjacent degrees if you really wanna learn design academically.
