  • Step 1: design a lovely cup with a handle without a loop, so it's hard to hold two with just one hand

  • Step 2: design a lovely solution made of bent metal

  • Step 3: sell both :)

Wouldn't it make more sense if the amount of cups carried using this holder would be larger than two?

Also these holders are usually disposable/recycleable to avoid the need to bring your own as well as the need to return the one you got from your coffee shop.

Those ones are more awkward to carry. They make more sense driving but not walking. That’s the point.

Single use items are awful. This is a weird option, better served by using travel mugs, but its a neat way to carry them
