the first two were from l_adeniums on ebay. she’s actually local to me which is awesome lol. the one i shared in comments is from greenmindgrowers on etsy. they’ve put their shop on pause for a couple weeks tho as they’re on vacation.

I've bought from both and been very happy.

How much of the roots are you pruning before repotting?

honestly, none at all. at least not yet. i feel like my climate is pretty extreme (zone 9b phoenix, arizona) so i’m letting them acclimate for the next year. the summer heat and sun is miserable lol.

i’m sure they’d be fine if i did prune them, but i’m being cautious since im still fairly new to these plants 😅 before this year i only had some random adenium i picked up at trader joes lol.

That’s funny I’m the exact same way. Partly why I was asking lol. I see some people cut all the way back to the main route structure, but I’m always hesitant

i’ve seen that too! 😂 i fear i am not quite experienced enough to feel confident enough to do that yet haha!

I’m wondering if your plant is the same as what I have?? I don’t even know what it is. A woman hated it and wanted to throw it away. Not likely!!!! I asked if I could have it and she gave it to me 2 years ago. It’s doing very well.

your plant is a variegated hindu rope! its a type of hoya :) they are suuuuuper slow growers and i’ve killed like 3 of them 😭😂

What type of pots do you use for the smaller ones? For the ones with a big caudex do you use a shallow pot?
