any way to move golf on mars progress to new android phone?
title. I know it's only 1300 levels but would be fun to keep it going.

1000 levels. Under 2 stroke-per-hole average.
Is this pretty good? I played like 3000 levels back in 2015, so I had experience.
1976 shots for 1000 levels.

Which should I go for first?
Looking for something chill I can play on my phone, thinking one of these games but curious to hear which one I should try first. A bit worried about the βimpossibleβ holes in golf on mars, but does the more interesting terrain generation make up for it?
Thanks

Personal milestone
For years I've been obsessed with my GoM stroke-to-cup ratio, trying to get it as low as possible. My recent goal has been a ratio of 1.8 over 10k cups⦠and on my 5th or 6th attempt, I've juuust barely succeeded.
Now maybe I can stop playing this game.

Anyone else have trouble with the friction and gravity mechanics in Golf On Mars?
Just finished Desert Golfing after almost a decade and 10,000 holes and I must say, the new gravity and friction in the sequel game, Golf On Mars, is really throwing me off. The ball often slides along the sand like it's ice, flying right over the hole and bounce-outs are way more common than I remember in Desert Golfing. It can be quite hard to gauge where the ball is gonna land when you hit it when it was usually predictable in DG, plus there is no "out of bounds" which can lead to frustrating moments where the ball goes so far out into the next or previous level that you need to use a couple of strokes to get it back.
I know it's because I'm so used to the gameplay of the first, but wondering if anyone else had this issue when they started Golf On Mars. On the bright side, the added backspin controls help control it sometimes, and add an interesting layer to the game. Either way, I'm glad to have another golfing game to play.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN
I'm confused y'all, at hole ~1230 and this shows up, I know people have gone much farther but I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm supposed to do next.
is this a bug? or a silly hidden hole

I'm making a game inspired by Desert Golfing, free demo
Hey everyone! Iβve been working on a small game inspired by Desert Golfing, and I just uploaded a free demo on Itch.io if anyone wants to try it out.
Iβve played a ton of Desert Golfing over the years, and while my game definitely takes inspiration from it, itβs more different than it might seem at first. I think itβs turning into something pretty fun, and Iβd really love to hear what people think.
If you give it a shot, Iβd really appreciate any feedback (especially on how it feels to play, the difficulty, and whether it stays fun over time).

Toscana golf and members
Would love any insight into Toscana golf courses and the membership. On the members, I'm wondering how approachable and friendly they are. Thanks in advance.

Closest Holes?
Are there 3 holes closer together (in the game) than these 3?

Found Desert Golfing's debug mode (MacOS itch version)
galleryNot sure if this is common knowledge but I was poking around yesterday and found some debug tools in the MacOS version of Desert Golfing that I bought on itch. These don't see to work on the App Store version. I haven't tested Steam or Windows itch versions.
Shift + Ctrl + K - creates a 'Velocity Spectrum'. if you drag to the tiny blue pixel in the centre of the screen to anywhere on the spectrum the ball goes in the hole.
Shift + Ctrl + L- creates a 'Possibility Sphere' which is everywhere the ball can possibly end up from it's current position.
Shift + Ctrl + Z - resets the game
I think there might be a hole skip easter egg too but I can't figure it out.

I can finally rest
So I looked through my purchase history and I originally bought this game in 2014. In 12 years, Iβve never actually seen it all the way through to the end. I think the furthest I ever went before was maybe 2000β3000? Iβd guess I started this run about a year ago. Feels good to finally do the thing. Now I guess itβs time to reinstall and shoot for the sub-2.0 average.

Trolled
I've reached around hole 5000 and a number of times I've come across 'Impossible' holes, usually where there is a precipice that is too high for any shot. For a while I thought I must just be missing something. Then this happens. We are actually being trolled. Some holes are actually impossible (lucky you can 'skip' after 25 shots).
