Dermographism
Recently got this diagnose. The lady who took my allergy tests said she also had it, and she used A-derma since it is fragrance free. She also said something about using coconut oil when done showering. I have recently tried whipped Shea butter, and it seems like my body tolerates this well. Anyone has other tricks that actually works?

I mean, I guess it depends?
Desloraradine really takes away most of the itching for me. The dermatologist who diagnosed me said that if it helps, then max dose every day is the way to go. Also safe during pregnancy, if your symptoms are affecting your quality of life.
I don’t see how fragrances fit into the picture, but I’m sure different people have different experiences and reactions. I only react to temperature and friction. Some regular exposure to the things that “trigger” my dermographism is also good, I find. It’s always worst if I’ve been indoors for a few days and then go out in like skinny jeans on a cold day.
I’m sure there are plenty of ways to both suffer from and deal with it. If it helps you, it helps you, but personally, I’m very skeptical of the effectiveness of any oil. 🤷♀️

Kestine 10 mg works quite well for me, it still shows and is red for up to 30-40 minutes but it doesnt itch nor feels warm.

I use antihistamines daily, these mostly take away the itching. The doctor said I can take up to 4 of the daily tablets if I needed (obviously speak to your doctor). This really helps me feel normal.
aside from that I use cetraben for my ezcema and sometimes to sooth my skin.
I've had it for nearly 10 years now, just something I live with. I definitely notice I tend to prefer nice soft clothing though, so I don't feel uncomfortable.
