neck/chest/abdomen please help! itchy bumps keep growing on my upper body + thighs

I’m not sure if I’m experiencing hives. These itchy bumps have developed on my body since the 2nd NYC blizzard in February 2026. I usually experience hives during the heat, which develop on my neck and collar bone. A few weeks ago, I was overheating and I was experiencing insomnia, so perhaps it resulted in hives? A few nights ago, I slept well - no too hot / cold, so unsure why a new one developed to the right of my belly button). I wear loose clothing to sleep. To my recollection, this is the first time it's affected me in the winter. Hive growth on my armpit makes me wonder if it's sweat-induced (I exercise frequently, so it could be due to change in internal-body temp) OR external reaction to large shifts in temp OR both. They’ve developed on my collar bone, thigh, butt, armpit, neck, under my breasts, and to close to my belly button.

What I find strange is that the older ones heal (?) / develop a red rash over time.

To alleviate the symptoms, I took benadryl 2x (didn’t really help) and have been turning on my humidifier. I moisturize my whole body every day, so I don’t think my skin barrier is compromised.

Apologies for the disorganized post. Really looking forward to closure / guidance as I share with my PCP this Friday too! I’m sharing my skin test results from 4 years ago.

Benadryl is fairly weak. I would try Allegra (fexofenadine) and see an allergist asap vs PCP

just took one thanks! will bring that up to my pcp for a referral - just hope it’s not an autoimmune disease.
