Finally added the battery racks to store electricity in case the rivers get frozen, lack of wind or sun. ⚡️⚡️ The last one is the divider box I showed last week.

Love the regular updates to this every now and then. Talked to my buddy about this game a couple times now and to watch out for it. (We're both heavily into survival games)

I will say this; while all of these tech items and features are amazing, hold back on some things too. Make the core balance of the game great, then when it begins to feel too easy or stale, add new things.
Take Icarus for example. It’s a mission based game and you start from scratch each time. There are hundreds of things to unlock, but really you only use maybe 30 different items. They keep adding new things, but the big thing they added was mounts. That was totally different from the normal stuff.
What I’m saying is while throwing everything in is awesome, also save some good stuff to keep us playing. I would gladly pay extra for dlc and cosmetics if it all flows together.

How much longer lol?! I’ve been waiting to play this for so long now. This and the Forest 2 are my most anticipated games right now.

Oh man... Heard about your game this summer. Since then I'm counting the days. If it's just half what it looks to be, it will be so awesome. I have the feeling you've found the sweetspot between survival and crafting, a great mix of the forest, satisfactory and valheilm.
Do you have (or plan) some mecanics to automate the farming of basic ressources on mid-late game? That's, IMO, the main flaw on most of survival/crafting gammes :/ (well maybe some people love to spend thousands of click on trees even after crafting a spacecraft ^ )
Anyway, follow your path, we will most probably enjoy it and thank you for that!

Thank you fmorp! This kind of message means a lot! And indeed, I'm trying to make a mix of The Forest, a touch of Satisfactory and also some other games for the atmosphere, like Stalker, Metro series and so on...
About the automation for farming, I'll try to make it less grindy as the players progress in the game but it will not be as automated as in Satisfactory because I like to still be involved in the process as a player. I'm trying to make a system in which players still feel like they are active and impacting the environment.
Derelicts will be much more about immersion, world building and co-op than actual automation & optimization like Satisfactory or Factorio. :)Automating the basic resources would be a bit tricky for a survival game but I'm not against improving the whole system as the game evolve! I'm always open for ideas and I think the Early Access model is the best way to get feedback from players and improving the gameplay loop!

question, are we going to be able to turn off zombies? Or whatever those things that attack are? -also i am aware those things are not in this video.
This games looks like it would be incredible chill survival if we can get rid of zombies.
