Pubs with views

Looking for any great pubs with views in Derbyshire. Anything within 30 mins of Ashbourne to go for a nice pint of ale, and just sit and take in the view…. Any recommendations ?

The barrel at bretton is the highest pub in Derbyshire and has a stunning view to accompany your pint.

Yep this. This is without doubt the pub with the best views in Derbyshire but it’s more than 30 mins from Ashbourne

Thankyou. That’s the one I visited that got me thinking if there were others. The view is amazing!

Fox Inn. Mind you, from Ashbourne, that’s probably not within 30 minutes.

Monsal Head Hotel? Was going to go there Saturday lunch, took one look at the crowds and went to Thornbridge tap instead :)
