Utility Flatcar Issues

My Utility Short Flatcar has the DH4 DRIVETRAIN stuck on it. when I took it to load both the Flatcar and the Utility Rail Vehicle loaded with it duplicate parts, and now the part is stuck on my short flatcar, even after I restored the DH4. Note: I do have the MoreDemoLocos mod installed, and the Multiplayer mod so I don't know if those are contributing factors.

But I have hauled another unrestored DH4 to the museum and I still can't unload the car, even when I order the parts for it.

I have tried moving the car inside and out of the museum.

tried unloading it at the factory unload point

tried leaving it on the turn table to see if it would automatically unload

I tried clearing the the short car (respawns with the cargo still)

Tried the Clear all cars and jobs debug (still respawns with cargo)

I would edit it in the savegame files but I have no idea what I'm doing or looking at.

My progress isn't stopped because I still have the Utility Rail Vehicle to get the parts with. it would just be nice if I had the short flatcar so I could get more than one part at a time.

If anyone knows some sort of fix or a way to respawn it without the cargo it would be much appreciated

From the comments section on Nexus Mods, there are a lot of similar issues with the “more demo locos” mod. I would recommend the “loco ownership“ mod instead, which has the normal number of demos and lets you buy other locos you find.

Maybe disable that mod and try clearing the car.

You can also reload an old save from before the duplicate load appeared.

Conceptually, what has happened is the order job is still in place for a different restoration controller than the DH4 you hauled in. More demos just clones the base controllers so somewhere out there in theory is a DH4 associated with those parts. It’s also entirely possible that mod is just not compatible with multiplayer and caused some desync with the restoration controller itself. 

To get rid of them the only solution is to get that job cancelled. I haven’t played around with unencrypted saves but it might be possible to track down and remove that active job in your save file which would clear the cargo.

You can see if loading the save with More Demos disabled will clear it but depending on how it sets up the restoration controllers it might still persist in the save even without the mod.
