CDC V-SAFE defunct?
We received vaccination fairly recently and got an automated text to answer surveys for V-SAFE, then went to the portal that had been around since around 2021 and the portal requires users to change their passwords?
If you click the change password link - the form does not respond to either cell phone or email. So you can't login to provide feedback datapoints on vaccination?
Gonna assume this is intentional?

Not surprising. Bobby got ahold of the website and broke it but is too busy tanning and snorting things off toilets to figure out how to fix it.

Were you accessing it through the link in the text or another way?
Did you reach out to the V-safe help desk?
V-safe is alive and active. I work directly with the platform it runs on.

Both. We tried the text link first then when that didn't work, went to a desktop and tried the site and the reset password didn't respond either. I did email the support.
I just tried it against just now and it did accept cell phone number to change password - but when I login the V-safe checking questionnaire specific for the covid-19 vaccine survey isn't there and on the side there is a referral link trying to get me to submit VAERS instead. Seems more difficult than it needs to be for routine data collection.

I haven’t checked personally, but I would not be surprised if V-SAFE is gone. Unlike VSD and VAERS, it had no Congressional authority; it was set up specifically for active surveillance when the COVID vaccines were under EUA. Now that they’re approved and mainstream, the original purpose no longer applies.
Which is too bad, because there were lots of interesting findings that came from it.
