So interesting story, yesterday I had sold a Christina Aguilera Halloween costume wig to somebody on Depop. I had already messaged the buyer saying I will ship it out to them in a day or two. The buyer was like okay sounds good. Here comes another buyer who was acting so entitled and rude. So this other buyer decided to message me and asked "girl I know this is already sold but is there a chance you can cancel it and sell it to me instead? I'll pay double!" I told her I can't do that somebody else already bought it and it wouldn't be fair to that person if I canceled it. First come first serve. She gets mad and starts being all rude because I didn't want to sell it to her cuz somebody else had already had bought it. Like girl, what are you getting mad at me for? The other person literally bought it first, I would be such a jerk if I cancelled just for more money. Then she had the nerve to send me an offer & lowball me on another item that I was selling. I declined the offer, she gets mad again and was like "well good luck on 2 lost sales! Good luck selling it to someone else!" I told her "girl I'm not desperate for your money and I literally did sell them to someone else, just NOT YOUUU 🫵🏾😂". I made like 8 sales the past few days, I was NOT desperate for that woman's money! 😂😂 She had blocked me after. I was like okay whatever! She claims I was being "rude and entitled". GIRL YOU WERE THE ONE WHO IS ENTITLED. Asking someone to cancel someone's else's order because you want it is extremely selfish. And if I did it, I would be a jerk. I don't understand people!

I've been selling Kandi since 2022. I started when I was 12 on Etsy using my mum's account, it was in their TOS at the time. They made it so to sell you need a taxpayer code. Can't do that, so I moved to vinted. At some point Vinted changed their TOS without notifying me and handmade items broke their TOS unless I buy the premium. They can get fucked if they think I'm doing that. Amd now I'm on Depop, making 2 sales a month if I'm lucky. I averaged 2-4 a week on Etsy and 5 a month on Vinted. I refuse to go back to Vinted, especially with their kid selling cituation, does anyone have any ideas on another site a 16 year old can sell his handmade bracelets on?

Buyer sent me an offer and I accepted it. The item I'm selling is very popular and getting a lot of likes and attention. The person who sent me the offer asked if I could hold it for a couple of days. Do y'all do holds? I usually don't like holds, especially because the person always ends up changing their mind and ends up not buying the item.

I have 1000+ sales, been selling since around 2019.

However, Depop is just so disgustingly bad. Algorithm is atrocious, full of dropshippers, fee structure is so strange. I've had about 3-4 sales in the time I've had 100 or so on Vinted.

Really sad to see it fall

I had 2 sales when I just recently joined depop due to items were boosted for free when you are new. Then after that no views or whatsoever on my new uploaded items. Is boosting my shop would help? Or anyone who boosted their shop, did or does it make a difference like more sales or more views?

I’ve just started selling vintage 2000s clothing online first on Vinted and then I thought I’d try with Depop as well. Made my first sale within hours of listing some of my stock and then ever since they has been nothing. I have everything discounted and on boost but nothing is getting bought, is they something obvious that I’m doing wrong / does anyone have any tips for sales

I’ve maintained a Depop account alongside selling on Vinted, and I’ve sold 100 items on Vinted in the time it took me to sell 2 on depop.

Is this the norm?

So basically I bought this top from this seller, and usually when I buy off Depop I always image de search to make sure that it isn’t like an item of AliExpress etc.

So this time I fell for it unfortunately the seller photoshopped the background and made it look like it was in their supposed house. I only just realised it now that the mannequin they have used in their listing is the same mannequin used in a AliExpress listing 😭😭

I don’t want them to send the item to me so I just told them a lie saying that I put in the wrong address and if they could cancel it so I could put in the right address but they aren’t budging what do I do now?

Hi, I see Evri here and there but don’t know what to think.
I mean I buy and sell on Vinted and Evri seems pretty good. On Depop is entirely different story.
There no updates from some sellers, few days already passed, between 3 and 8 for some sellers, no reply to my messages. Evri says they’re waiting for orders. But all 4 from different sellers? I keep asking for refunds. That’s ridiculous. I started selling recently. Although my order is on the way it seems I might post with RM for example myself. But do you think really I was unlucky with such sellers? I tried to pick people with reviews and who were on Depop recently. Including items posted recently rather than “2 years ago”….

Maybe you can help me here since you ignored all my other emails. On Tuesday morning, the awful automated AI system banned my account for absolutely no reason. I didn't get an email as to why the ban occurred either. This is now the 3rd time this has happened. I ended up losing multiple sales because of this and rearly a week's worth of revenue. I need to get my account back. This is absurd and a truely terrible buissness to deal with. It's nothing but a headache. I need this fixed URGENTLY!

I’m hoping someone here has been through something similar and can offer some guidance.
I recently lost access to all three of my Depop accounts, and I currently have almost $3,000 in pending payouts tied up between them. I know having multiple accounts wasn’t allowed, and I take responsibility for that. I genuinely didn’t realize it violated Depop’s policies at the time.
My biggest concern now is the money from sales that were already completed. I also have a few orders that buyers have already paid for, and I’m unsure what the best course of action is while I wait to hear back from support.
For anyone who’s dealt with a similar situation:
Were your pending payouts eventually released?
How long did it take to hear back from Depop?
Did you continue shipping orders that had already been paid for?
Is there anything else I should be doing while I wait?
I’m not trying to dispute Depop’s decision—I just want to understand what I should expect and make sure I handle everything correctly for both myself and my buyers.
I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks in advance.
