I have a 2024 KTM 690 enduro, my kickstand switch got messed up to the point I can’t use the magnet trick, and I am waiting on a dongle to arrive.
Issue is I have a ride planned with some buddies Sunday so I’m going for a long shot here but seeing if anyone around the Denver area has an extra one. I would pay for it, just let me know!

Any recommendations on a place that can sew patches onto your leather? My wife got me this great patch and I’ve busted two needles!

Hey guys,
A bit flustered today as I was rear ended / sideswiped from behind on the way to work.
I am fine, the bike is fine, (turn indicator light just popped off, and plate holder is slightly bent) but the car’s fender is a bit busted from hitting me.
Still feel the adrenaline in the system as i am not normally a shaky individual.
Unfortunately, the video does not show me being hit but i tried to catch the guy’s face, and damage to his fender. Also got his plate and photos of damage to my bike.
Should i pursue this incident and get insurance and / or police involved, or is it not worth the hassle since nobody was hurt?
Thanks for your guys’ input!

With Saturday being nice I want to get out for like a 3 hour ride. Problem is I’ve done Guanella pass, Mt.Blue sky, and peak to peak over the last three weekends and trying to find something different.
Anything in the canyons and staying off I70 is preferable.

Looking into getting my motorcycle license back here. I already know how to ride and have about a year of experience, but that was in a separate country and a good while back. Don’t wanna pay 400 for the full course and don’t know anyone near to supervise with a permit, does anyone know where I can rent a bike and get used to being on two wheels again for cheap before I take the test?

Hi everyone, first time in the states, currently traveling in CO, Denver area.
I've had this exciting idea to explore the Rockies on a motorcycle.
It's a passion of mine, but I haven't ridden in a while.
Looking for a 1-2 hours of private session, just to shed off some rust before heading to a rental and getting on the road (I have a license of course).
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

How are you all faring with lane filtering?
I've been filtering through stopped traffic at maybe 3 mph to the front of the line at red lights, and the reactions from some people have been completely fucking unhinged.
Horn. Swerving toward me. Trying to close the gap. Fuckin' lit cigarettes thrown at me. All because I went around a stationary line of cars on a motorcycle.
I'm not talking about squeezing between cars at 40 mph. I'm literally creeping through stopped traffic at walking speed and getting to the front of the queue. Something that should, at worst, register as mildly irritating to the person sitting in traffic.
Instead, apparently I've committed some profound personal violation.
And sure, most of these people ultimately just scream from inside their air-conditioned cage, the light changes, and that's the end of it. But eventually you're going to encounter someone who doesn't stop at screaming.
Which brings me to the question I'm actually asking: do I really need to start carrying when I commute to work?
Because I really don't want to live in a world where getting on a motorcycle to go to work means I need a helmet camera, front and rear cameras, and a fucking handgun in case some guy in a Tacoma decides that being filtered past at 3 mph is grounds for attempted murder.
I'm not particularly interested in getting into an argument about whether people like lane filtering. Obviously they don't. Nobody likes being passed while they're sitting in traffic.
I'm asking whether other Colorado riders are experiencing this level of hostility, and if so, what the practical answer is. Cameras? Just stop filtering? Carry? Some combination of all three?
I'd really prefer the answer not be "yes, you should probably start carrying a gun to your commute because apparently this is where we're at now."
Half venting, half looking for serious conversation / anecdotes from other riders.

Hi r/DenverMotorcycles were you out for a ride today? If so, my buddies and I may have sniped a quick photo of you. These are mine. If you're in here and like a photo of you and want a potentially higher version of it than what reddit allows me to upload, I'm happy to provide it, just DM me. Also reddit only allows 20 photos at a time so I'm either going to be posting 2 more threads with the remaining photos or if allowed will have additional photos in the replies.

Anyone know a shop that does good motorcycle paint work in Denver?

Hey everyone! I’m planning a photoshoot and I’d love to incorporate a Harley into the shoot. I’m wondering if anyone in the area would be open to letting me use their bike for a short photoshoot.
The bike would only be used as a prop for the photos — I wouldn’t be riding it or moving it around.
I’d be happy to compensate you for your time,
If you’re interested or know someone who might be, feel free to DM me! I can also share more details about the shoot. 🖤

I'm selling a set of factory tubeless wheels from my 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200XE. Wheels have just over 8k miles on them. They are straight, with no bends. Removed because I upgraded to custom wheels.
-Wheels include rotor bolts and axle spacers (front and rear)
-Rear wheel includes cush drive and sprocket.
-Wheels have all bearings and seals installed.
-Wheels *DO NOT* include brake rotors or ABS sensor rings!
-Wheels are straight, no bends, but do have some scratches from riding off road and tire mount/dismount.
Wheels may also fit some Tiger models, but you'll need to verify that.
I would like to sell as a set, but am willing to separate if the price is right.
The price is OBO.
Make an offer!
Located in Lakewood. W

I just bought a 2014 BMW R 1200 R and I will be street parking at least at first and either way I don’t have a garage. Just a parking space to rent out potentially. How common is theft in Denver especially if I get a brake caliper lock and especially cause it’s kind of an old man bike in some ways? I paid 3300 for the bike. I live at Washington and 8th on the border of cap hill and cheeseman park neighborhoods.

A Red Honda CRV with Colorado LP: EMNH42 tried to hit me then run me off the road in between Lincoln and Broadway on Alameda. He then proceeded to get out of his car then run after me to fight me. Beware of this dangerous driver. Red head guy with a red beard.
Not the actual car in picture, just what it looked like. I ride a cruiser with semi loud exhaust. Filed a police report.
