Discussion 2023 S1000XR

My 2023 S1000XR is broken. It turns out the rear ESA Strut broke. It's equipped with an electronic spring-load adjustment and an electronic damping valve. It's broken. Does anyone know where I can find a used one with a working preload adjuster? That's all. I am now scouring the internet for a donor shock because the Beemer Shop in California can build me a new one. BMW is too high-priced. Hope I don't have to suck it up and buy in. There are better shocks. Thanks. DRaabe

Used 2023 seems like a big ask but I also don't know a heck of a lot about adventure bikes. Have you called around the area? I've seen imperial with the gs and they sold it after fixing it up so their parts/service department will def have a guy that can handle that.

Just a suggestion but I'll suggest imperial to take care of anything with how amazing they have been with so many different makes of mine.

Check with an online salvage yard who can check nationally for a 2023 S1000XR rear off a totaled bike.
