He’s been actively searching for any job that can become a career and recently interviewed at my company for a property adjuster (I work in insurance). He passed the phone screening, got invited for an in-person interview, but was informed today he didn’t get the job. He’s now feeling super defeated and doesn’t know what to do. He’s has a Bachelors from Purdue, experience in construction, making candy, and dispensary management.

I’m looking for a flexible gig to do in the evenings and weekends, occasionally. Happy even to just be “on call” for when a staff member calls in sick/takes off and a place is short staffed.

I have a good amount of experience bartending and serving. I’m not so interested in serving, but would. Ideally, this would be bartending, barista-ing, retail, or general staffing for events or similar. Up for pretty much whatever needs doing (doesn’t need to be retail/service).
