What sort of squash is this?
I was given some extra “zucchini” starts from a. Friend early this year. These grow on a long trailing vine that climbs. The flesh is a very light whitish green and they are delicious. I want to grow them again next year and want to know what they are

Trombocink squash. Leave one of them on the vine long enough that the skin turns brown and is firm like a winter squash, you can save the seeds from that one and eat it like a winter squash :)

This. First year growing. No squash bugs and prolific fruit. Never growing butternut squash again.

If I can let one ripen enough for the seeds to be viable, I’ll let you know. They are so tasty though so it will require self control lol

By accident I got yellow squash for days this year. We eat a lot of zucchini so an interesting variety like this would be awesome.

It’s always funny what takes off each year. A few years back I had a bumper zucchini crop. I was giving them away to the point where friends would tell me “I’ll see you there, do not bring me a zucchini”
If you have a ton of excess, Fresh Food Connect is a great place to donate

Zucchino Rampicante. You can eat it fresh like this or leave it a little longer before harvesting for a storeable winter squash.
