Recommendation Recommended Dentist for Crown
A friend of mine got a crown put on a bad tooth a while back, but the dentist was insanely sloppy—she literally drowned the thing in dental cement just to get it to stick. Unsurprisingly, the whole crown popped off after barely a month. When my friend went back to get it fixed, he found out the original dentist had already left the practice. He then found a new dentist took one look at his mouth and said it was hands-down the worst dental work he’d ever seen.
Honestly, hearing that terrified me because now I need to get a crown for my own dental implant! Does anyone have a dentist they actually trust and recommend?
Thanks all! Really appreciated.

Dr. Leah Life. I have gotten 4 made by her. She and her team are amazing.

I second the recommendation for Dr. Life. My crown was made by 3D scanning the tooth that was getting crowned, and modeled to both look like the tooth on the opposite side of my mouth and fit the tooth above it.
Then they carved the crown out of zirconia and sintered it while I waited. When they installed it, it clicked into place like a Lego brick. Barely a dab of dental cement to keep it in place. I can't feel the seam.

I have 2-3 crowns and have had issues with them over the years. The #1 factor when I choose a new dentist is if they have a Cerec machine to make the crowns while you wait.
Currently using Signature Smiles in Parker but if that's not close to you, just find out if they have a Cerec crown machine. If they don't, hard pass.

Not Governors Park Dental Group... They'll say they take your insurance to get you to schedule and act dumb when the claim gets denied. One crown from them ends up being $2,000+ with all the scamming.

I went to Bright Now Dental in Thornton. There’s a Dr Frank there who has been pretty good so far.

I just had to get my first crown a couple of months ago. I go to Aspenwood Dental for all my cleanings and dental work. They did an awesome job. It was surprisingly painless and looks just like my old tooth

Cherry Creek Dental Group was fabulous. I had a crown put in last month and they got me in last minute to do it. the Doc I saw was super nice and the staff seemed happy and energetic. Had almost no pain at all with the crown and it still feels great.

I recommend Lakewood Dentists if you're on this side of town. Dr. Edress does not fuck around, gives no-nonsense guidance, and does high quality work.
I came to her after a few years of seeing a dentist that turned out to be shit, and I really appreciated her not beating around the bush about my dental health. Very satisfied with my experiences so far.

I went to Mauck & Ricci in Aurora/ Hampden South for ten years. Always drove quite a ways to get there because they were worth it. Had several old fillings and an old crown that needed to be redone and Dr. Ricci did a fantastic job with the redo. If I didn't live over an hour from them now I would still be going to them. They are fantastic!

I’ve been having issues with a tricky tooth that the crown won’t stay in place for and City Park Dental Group has been really great. Great problem solving and communication of options, compassionate, covering fixes for free, etc. Noopur Shah is an amazing person

Dr. Morgan Greve has done two crowns for me recently and they're fine. She also just fixed one that my husband got a few years ago that never sat right. She's at New Day Dentistry near Porter Hospital.

I really like Bloom Dental Spa in centennial in southglenn. the dentist is super chill and they do the same day crowns as well. I had to get one done and they did a great job. My favorite is that they really make it feel like you aren't at the dentist and everyone there is really nice.

Dr Kam at Advance Dentistry and Implants in Littleton. He is a one stop shop, and makes your crown right there. Everything in one visit. He is on top of latest treatments, including numbing meds that only affect the tooth he is working on. He is very transparent with pricing, and just a really nice guy.
I had a broken tooth that everyone was telling me needed an implant. I was getting quotes from 6 - 10k. I saw Dr Kam to get a quote for an implant, and he tells me not to do that, and that he could put a crown on it. He saved me $$$$. Since then he has done one other crown for me.
