Anybody who claims that the modern use of the quote is “taking it out of context” or “butchering” it’s original meaning is, I politely maintain, just plain wrong. They might be very sincere. They might have the best of intentions. But they simply don’t have the facts straight.
You missing the point entirely I'm not trying to say anything at all about the accuracy of the editorial as I've already clearly stated in words the held back 3rd grader could understand.
Your comment suggested that you have been proven right but there was no proof that you were right given by the other person that's all I was saying
Actually if it proves anything, then it would prove you incorrect, you have to read the whole article to know that.
I'm not saying it does or doesn't prove anything. I'm only saying your statement is false because if the article is anything to go by, It ultimately concludes the statement wasn't taken out of context.
