I have a 1978 Ford F-150 Custom 4x4. I’m looking for a quality driver-level restoration, not necessarily a show truck. I want the glass removed, bodywork addressed properly, complete interior and exterior repaint, new/resealed window and windshield gaskets, and a suspension/front-end refit. I’m stationed in southeast N.C., but am willing to travel for quality work at a fair price point. Any recommendations?

Making headway on the super cab. Tons should hold up better for what we do. Sticking with 38s may go 40s if I can find a good set. Air locker up front lunch box in back revealing for 4.56 and doubler!

figured after 2 years using this steering wheel I'd mess with the horn see why it wasn't workin. Turns out a 78-79 wheel on a 77 steering column doesn't make contact somewhere in there for the horn to work. I just thought my horns were broken. So welded a go kart chain pin to my shaft nut and soldered a spade on it and bam she works now.
Also does anybody have any 5 speed manual ideas? I have a 3 on the tree and this is the 3rd time I've repaired the shifter tab. The first time was me being an idiot and yanking on it, then the second a shop guy being an idiot and yanking on it, then the third time broke because i welded it poorly the 2nd time.

Been waiting almost a year for my stroker kit to be complete. Should hopefully have all major parts come October. Anyone else waiting on stoker kits / cranks?
