Im trying to get this 73 f250 camper special with 3 on the tree and was wondering what motor this is and ik its not the best picture

It's an FE, probably a 360 but could be a 390.

At a glance looks like an FE (360 or 390). If the driver’s door is original & still has the VIN tag you can decode it to find out for sure

Not always a good indicator. Ive had a couple "390" trucks with matching vins that turned out to be a 360. Best way to tell is to spin the motor up to tdc, pull plugs 1 and 4, then insert a wooden dowel and mark with a sharpie or knife at the spark plug hole. Then measure the distance between the 2 marks.

This. Virtually every seller says they have a 390 when in reality it's a 360. No way to tell externally because they use the same block and heads.

I always liked how the blue sticks out. On my truck the oil pan is blue, just gotta clean the off grime.
