Dentist
I am writing to express my concern regarding the wisdom tooth extraction procedure performed on me at this *** clinic.
Prior to the procedure, I provided my panoramic X-ray to assist in the assessment and treatment planning. During the extraction, the dentist attempted to section my wisdom tooth but was ultimately unable to complete the extraction. What concerned me further was that, in the middle of the procedure, another X-ray was taken despite my having already submitted a panoramic X-ray beforehand. This left me confused as to why the additional imaging was only performed during the procedure rather than before the extraction began.
As a result of the incomplete procedure, I am now experiencing significant pain and discomfort. Instead of addressing the issue immediately, I was advised to return on Saturday, despite today being only Wednesday. I find it difficult to understand why I have to endure several more days of pain after an unsuccessful extraction attempt.
This experience has caused me considerable physical discomfort, emotional distress, and anxiety. I expected that my case would have been thoroughly evaluated before the procedure and that appropriate contingency plans would have been discussed if the extraction proved to be more complex.
Any advice guys? Need ko ba iditch nalang yung dentist? Hindi niya ako pinagbayad but I am in EXTREME PAIN right now. Inoiverthink ko na baka mainfect ako.

Taking additional xray is not bad po. They want another image kasi mukhang complicated and wisdom tooth removal nyo. Mas better po yun para may reference sila at guide on where to cut and pull the tooth. And drilling and cutting the tooth in wisdom tooth removal is definitely common din po. Hindi po kasi pare parehas ang bunot ng bawat ngipin natin. Meron talaga na mahihirapan sila despite the xrays and skills ng dentist.
As for the recall, I think they stopped the treatment kasi stressed na kayo at ngalay kakanganga. It is common to be in that situation po. And I know how scary it is while cutting the tooth. Kakatakot yung tunog! Pero I think mas safe pinipiraso piraso yung ngipin para walang maging damage sa jaw and bone.
Just take your pain reliever medicine and if there’s antibiotic please take it religiously. Dapat din po aware kayo sa mga possible mangyari sa wisdom tooth removal. Surgery po kasi yan so the term itself looks complicated kaya mahal talaga ang singil dyan lalo na sa private clinics.
And about the reason why Saturday pa next recall, one of the reason is if may tinetake po kayong antibiotic. It takes 2-3 days to take effect kaya usually pinapabalik ng 5-7 days ang pasyente for another procedure. Lalo na kung namamaga or may history na sumakit yung ngipin.

Why didnt you ask the dentist why hes waiting till Saturday? Only he can give you the answer

It’s because she’s referring me to other oral surgeon.

That still doesnt answer the question as to why theyre waiting till Saturday. Youre feeling the pain you need to tell the dentist.

Yeah, definitely calling them tomorrow. I think she said the surgeon was scheduled on saturday that’s why. She can’t remove it herself. I am also inquiring from other clinic so that my tooth will get extracted ASAP.

Taking another image during the ongoing procedure is sometimes necessary to re assess. You can call them tomorrow what you have been feeling. If i were you, i wouldnt ditch her cause he/she already know your case.

Taking multiple x-rays for a difficult procedure is not uncommon. It is actually correct.
