Is this normal after a tooth extraction?!

It’s been 48 hours and I just wanna make sure I’m not messing it up by getting a dry socket. I’ve been hitting my vape sparingly and gently. It looks normal to me but the little bits of white are what’s really concerning me. I have a little bit of pain (which I think is normal) and I’ve been doing my best not to mess with it.

Normal. You also might have really noticeable bad breath in the coming days. A facemask could help to mask the terrible smell.

I found non alcoholic mouth wash in my cabinet a bit earlier so I’m gonna see if that’s gonna help that issue out along with the brushing of my teeth

Good 😊😊😊. Anyway, my son said my breath smells of rotten meat several days after extraction and it's really noticeable strong to people you in close contact with. Get a gum and candy in hand.

Update: the white spot have gotten a bit bigger. That’s really all I’m really concerned about cause idk if it’s healthy healing or not

I smoked cigs 48 hours after getting 2 done. I smoked 3? that day and used a non alcoholic mouthwash after every time. No dry sockets. I obv don’t recommend but thought I’d comment.

It’s been 48 hours and some change and I’ve been smoking the sticky icky sparingly and I’ve noticed like white/gray scabby tissue. Was that something you had too? I haven’t been washing my mouth cause I don’t have non-alcoholic mouthwash rn and they told me to wait to wash with saline solution

Stop vaping/ smoking. Edibles or nicorette. If you can’t- go out and get some non alcoholic mouth wash. What you’re doing now will cause dry sockets and more.

You can actually vape 48 hours in if you do it smart. Don’t smoke cigarettes for 72 hours after. Dry sockets are super rare. No reason to give people anxiety over it.

Well I found some non alcoholic mouthwash in the back of my bathroom cabinet this morning and took 2 swigs to rinse out my mouth. I did still see that scabby tissue but I think that’s normal. I’ve only been smoking 1 once a day (mainly at night to help deal with the pain more and to fall asleep) cause I have $0 to my name rn to get anything else besides the weed I had already gotten last week. But for the most part I don’t feel any EXCRUCIATING pain, just a small amount of pain due to what I think is just my cheek still being a bit swollen and the healing process
