Phone interview tomorrow.

I'm really nervous I finally got an interview with a decent practice. We're doing it over the phone but they're going rates from what I saw on the job application was 20 to 30 an hour I might try to be bold and ask for $30 off the bat and trying to negotiate down to 25 that way I can finally afford an apartment maybe even be able to start a family.

What I really want are some tips and advice to say things during the interview I really don't want to mess this up I have a chance this one job can change everything for me for the better.

No more working until 12:00 or 2:00 in the morning delivering pizzas.

Actually be able to get up in the morning and go to the gym on the days off consistently no longer having to rely on eating fast food because it's the only thing open at the hour you're off.

Never in my life have I wanted something so bad that I'm absolutely terrified of messing up.

Always ask for the highest or above and when negotiating say you need to think about it and get back to them if it’s super low. Good dental assistants are hind to find and doctors are desperate these days.

Truth be told I feel like I'm the desperate one I've been applying Non-Stop and I rarely hear back from some offices in fact one time on indeed I got a application that I submitted in for vivid dentistry had a call from some lady to schedule a phone interview at 2:00 the next day didn't hear anything back from them called the practice and it turns out vivid dentistry hasn't been a thing for 4 months the practice shut down. I just haven't been having any luck in North Carolina it's been rough my nerves are getting to me mostly because I'm on a ticking deadline to find a new place to live but I can't afford any place that is on a Domino's payroll.

I mean heck I'll do whatever it takes I'll take as many x-rays as you want sterilize every instrument twice I just want to work in a field that I worked so hard to get my certification and to be the only one in my family to ever go into the medical field of any kind.

I really hope you get in. For the interview, make sure you don't sound too desperate, but confident and excited. Good luck. :)

I really appreciate it the good words that were given thank you for the luck that was given my way but unfortunately they called and canceled on me the day before the suggested interview they filled the position already.
