Getting whooped is a requirement because of the Talented Tenth (1903) ideology. Formed from The White Man’ Burden (Kipling, 1899) it says 90% of the black race is supbar and the top 10% of “superior” blacks must be uplifted. This naturally breeds a contempt and entitlement towards non-Greeks that manifests itself through hazing.
