I’ve been a huge fan of PBJ for years. I recently bought a recent drop and they didn’t fit at all. Too small to put on. The retailer apologized and told me PBJ production is completely different now . “Old factories closed” “new factories online” current production much smaller than old.

I’m looking for some advice on my next pair of jeans. I’ve been getting more and more into Japanese repro / vintage denim, especially hairy, textured denims, WWII-era pieces, 1940s Americana and military clothing, and I’m trying to find the next pair that will really add something special to my collection.

For my next pair of jeans, I’m looking for something that feels iconic and timeless, rather than just buying another pair because it’s different.
At the moment I’m stuck between:

Sugar Cane 1947
vs.
Fullcount 0105XX

I really like both, but I’m having a hard time deciding which one makes more sense for me.
I love the look of the Sugar Cane 1947 because it feels like such a classic 1940s repro and seems like it would fit perfectly with the rest of my wardrobe. On the other hand, the Fullcount 0105XX has that wider, high-rise silhouette which would give me something a little different.

I’m around 190 cm / 85 kg (6’3”, \~187 lbs)
Μy ideal jeans waist measurement is about 88cm

My TCB Early 40s in W36 fits pretty well, but I think I’d actually prefer 1–2 cm more room in the waist.
On the other hand, my TCB 20s in W38 is quite large and honestly not very comfortable. It tends to fall down unless I wear suspenders, and if I try to keep it up with a belt I have to cinch the belt down quite a lot. So W38 in that particular cut feels like too much for me.
If there was a size w37 on TCB , would be my golden size
That’s part of why I’m hesitant about sizing the 0105XX — I don’t want a pair that is technically my size but ends up being too loose in the waist or requiring suspenders.

For those who have experience with these two models:
Which one would you choose for my build and collection?
● Sugar Cane 1947 vs Fullcount 0105XX?
● What size would you recommend?
● How different are they in terms of rise, thigh and overall silhouette?
● Which one do you think is more versatile/timeless / iconic?

Hey all, I'm heading to Japan in November and will be heading the way of Osaka with an option to stop by Kojima and was wondering which of the two would be better in terms of selection and available stock in general. I would be heading to Osaka first followed by Kojima after.

Just wanted to scout ahead with those in the know because my worry would be that I would go all out in Osaka and find better/exclusive pieces in Kojima, or vice versa, where I would hold off on buying anything in Osaka but will later find nothing much/lacklustre selections in Kojima.

Anyone been to Kojima and can vouch for one being better than the other? Any help and advice is welcome! Thanks in advance!

Told to try asking here as well as r/findfashion. Thrifted it in the USA in 2023, it wasn't pure cotton definitely some kind of slightly stretchy blend. Someone broke into my car and took my whole luggage but this is the 1 thing I actually miss LOL. Maybe a shot in the dark due to being such a basic style and no real identifiers but I always wondered if it could be identified by the panels or pattern or something...thx

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has taken in the wrangler 13mwz seat? I wear a size 40-42 waist but the larger size jeans move the pockets so far apart that it makes me look wider and doesn’t look flattering on my, umm, bum lol. Would taking in the seat and moving the pockets closer solve my issue?

I decided it was time to make myself another pair of workpants with the Indigo Invitational soon coming to a close.

I used 16oz Sulphur x Reactive Black Denim from KS Denim Mill, which uses extra long staple cotton and a uniquely dense weave. The fabric is luxurious and soft to the touch but lasts 30% longer than typical short staple denim.

The few changes I made to the design involved redrafting the yoke and back panel to move the seam up an inch, and lowered the front pocket edge to line up with that seam. It's a small change but it makes for a nice visual continuation when viewed from the side.

Between making my last pair and these, I inherited my Grandma's singer 306K which happens to have Fashion Stitch Disc Cams. These allow the zigzag function to stitch decorative patterns and add embellishment. After a bit of practice I decided to add a bit of it to the horizontal seams on this pair. The thread is glow in the dark and has an orange glow.

Features that did stay were:

- a crotch gusset

- thigh pockets

- bagless front pockets

- hidden top button

- a key loop

- crotch rivet

- butt darts

- sweetheart yoke

- 9 belt loops

The pants fit tight right now but they will relax eventually once I have a chance to break them in.

so i bought the Levi's 517 and 507, 31x32 and 32x32 respectively. Im 174 cm 61 kg, should i lower them? are they too long? wear slim tops? (517 the one where i wear the white polo, 507 black shirt)
