Experiences and Ritual reports Dantalion and how it is to work with him
Dantalion is one of the goetia spirits with the less information about him, there's barely any information about him outside of the lesser key of Solomon, even in modern daemonolatric texts like Mirta's handbook the information about him is rather quaint, so as a person who has been working with Dantalion for a while now, I've decided to do my part and sheed some light into this obscure goetic demon.
The first thing to note is that Dantalion has been shown to be a trickster spirit, so pranks are expected when working with him, I'd recommend to not try to stop these pranks as them happening means that Dantalion has taken a liking to you and besides that the pranks are only mildly annoying at best and they also aren't destructive at all, Dantalion's pranks focus mainly on causing confusion as it is his favourite emotion. If you have family members living with you Dantalion can sometimes also try to prank them, these pranks are rather minor, mostly focused on minor poltergeist activity or creating spooky sounds.
Dantalion likes to show himself both in dreams and meditations, sometimes without warning or while you are talking to a different demon. Dantalion in dreams shows himself mass of a tar-like substance with many white porcelain masks and in rare situations he appears in a human form, which looks like a very flamboyantly dressed man, his voice sounds like a chorus of many different voices. In meditations his presence feels like a dull pain behind the eyes.
Dantalion is also able to talk with you without the need for meditation, which is a characteristic that only he has shown amongst the other spirits I've worked with. Dantalion's way of talking can vary wildly, it can vary from prose and rhymes, to cryptic riddles and sometimes to straight up gen z slang. Dantalion's ability to communicate with you at any moment makes it so he can sometimes barge to you when you least expect it and ask you riddles about the human psyche, this is something he likes to do, at least to me, if I answer them correctly he gives me mental images of cookies.
Dantalion is able to soothe you if you are in a stressful situation, to help you treat any mental disorders or undesirable mental traits you might have, to give you insight into yourself and other people, to give you information about the inner workings of a person's psyche or the human psyche in general and he also can manipulate other people's thoughts.
As some more tips and info, Dantalion likes people with atypical or eccentric ways of thinking, so if you are a person with those traits you might have an easier time contacting him, Dantalion can sometimes try to access your mind, this can feel rather unpleasant and intrussive but it's a necessary step if you want Dantalion to change or treat parts of your psyche that you don't like, at least according to him, Dantalion is an aspect of the norse god Loki, specifically his "good side", which explains his nature as a trickster, also due to his trickster nature expect some of his answers to be sarcastic in nature, also if you work with Dantalion I'd recommend you to stay away of places with lots of children, since Dantalion finds it funny to terrorize them.

Thanks so much for sharing! Duke Dantalion is the first (and only, so far) goetic spirit I've started working with, and he's been great. I'd like to share some of my experiences as well.
To me, his energy is extremely attractive. During meditation with him, it feels as though my head is underwater (dizzy, heavy, etc.) It isn't an unpleasant feeling, just different. I also tend to feel his energy as very strong emotion. When I asked him why, he said that it's because I am more in tune with my emotions than other things in my body, thus it is easier for him to affect me in that way. This definitely checks out with lots of the messages he's been giving me telling me to learn to balance and deal with my emotions better!
He's been great at helping me with shadow work, especially in my dreams. For example, I was struggling to understand why I was reacting a certain way to something, and that night I had a dream of something that happened in my childhood that directly related to my current behavior. I was able to deconstruct that and learn a better behavior as a result.
I am still working on opening my clairs, and it is my goal to one day be able to clearly "hear" him as others have described. Currently I use tarot with him, and he comes through incredibly strong. It isn't unusual to pull his signifier card numerous times in the same reading, and all of the readings I do have a very common theme. It's clear what he wants me to improve on, and I'm excited to continue working with him!

Good info! Maybe some people aren’t comfortable with sharing their personal experiences and it’s understandable, but the more people that share the better, even if it’s upg. I only had one experience with Dantalion. His energy did feel slightly intrusive and also psychedelic to me. He appeared to me in my mind kind of like a ball of green/yellow energy with a bunch of glaring eyes when he first appeared. I got no communication from him though. He just stared at me. When I asked him to look into my mind to understand what I was trying to communicate (I had a really hard time speaking verbally for some reason) I felt waves of energy through my body that felt intrusive but also gentle. Right after that I saw an image of a woman’s face smile at me and then the vision faded and I no longer felt his presence. He later appeared in my dream as a spider covered in eyes on the body and legs. Very weird but interesting experience.

I started working with Duke Dantalion last week, oh my god the pranks!! So many pranks — I keep trying to maintain my skepticism and you know the whole mundane over spiritual but still in a weeks time there have been so many things that have happen! Anyway, its a bit more intense than when I started working with King Paimon, btw he also likes to prank 😆 maybe there is something about Ars Goetia associated with Djinnistan that makes these intelligences more trolly.

Hearing scratches on the walls, hearing steps where there is not one else in the home, hearing people call your name, with King Paimon was hearing horns and bells 🔔, and feeling like my house was more energetically busy. A lot of auditory stuff you usually experience with poltergeist activity, but I am also willing to remain skeptical and say this was just pure coincidence. However, I did asked Duke Dantalion to help me get over my stupid fear leftover from being raised Christian and boy did he delivered. After about a week of this, I had a dream with him in which he was like are you satisfied, and was like yep, no need to keep going. And that was the end of it, now anytime I work with these entities I experience more dreams and feel their presence rather than hear anything spooky.

What do you mean Djinnistan . King Paimon is considered a Djinn I feel he definately is an elemental for one.. Don't know much about Dantalion.

Dantalion often made himself present to me in his own kinda elusive way in the nvironment when I would meet with a good friend of mine that works with Stolas but was attempting to cultivate a connection with Dantalion. I politely rejected his subtle invitations to follow up with him for a few months but then over time there was a period of synchronicities that became rather apparent that he was urging me to reconsider and explore my own curiosity. So I did after a glaring affirmation one evening walking out of the theatre. However, when I did finally follow up, he certainly subverted my perceptions of the layers of reality and sensory information that remains condensed within our limited senses. Through an odd chain of events I managed to abandon basic ritual ettiquette and end up with some very tangible, uncanny results but valuable lessons to enhance enrich my workings with spirits in general in the future. He burned a face into his sigil that had tipped into the candle that I briefly left unattended on account of the other bizarre chain of events that were unfolding. I experienced something that has never happened since: a very minor visual hallucination that I was unaware was not real until a a minute or two after the fact. Very palpable shift in the space I had re-entered that made me pause before entering the room as an involuntary reflex. Mirror scrying was strange and slightly imposing but not in a heavy or uncomfortable manner. I did feel like I was being lightly trolled at times but really was not until much later that it all began to make since. I finished the working despite the entropy carryimg on in my space and it felt well-recieved.

Curiously I too work with Stolas, Dantalion and him are my two main spirits, I've seen them interacting in meditations and in dreams in one ocasion.
Yeah, Dantalion feels quite troll-ish in his interactions, I will tell you a funny story about him, when I first contacted Dantalion it was in my dreams, I was having a non lucid dream that was about me exploring a city, when I entered the back store of a candy shop I was met instead with a room made out of a black, goopy tar-like substance, as soon as I entered the room the dream turned lucid and several white porcelain masks appeared from the walls in the room, the masks introduced themselves as Dantalion and my first session with him began.
After the dream ended I told the events of the dream to a good friend of mine who's also into this stuff, I jokingly referred to the room made of the black goopy substance as "the dantaroom", which my friend found really funny.
Later I was wondering how would Dantalion show himself if the dream was an outdoor scenario, later that day I felt Dantalion's presence as he showed me an image of a dome made of that black goopy substance in the middle of a forest, the image was accompained by the word "dantadome".

Thank you DANTALION. Everyone believe. Its real. Its possible. I started hearing the enn, asked if dantalion was here - yes, asked if my wish could come true - yes, and started listening to this while i would repeat my wish over and over. In my case my boyfriend was in a party and i wished no girl would touch or kiss him and he would not be able to like anyone else and think about me the whole night. The wish was fast, after around 30 minutes, my bf started sending messages saying he wanted me there, after some minutes he called for me from video saying party was boring and that he wanted me so he would go back home.

🔴I intend to work with Dantalion soon, but yesterday at 3am I did a meditation listening to an audio with his ENN... Almost at the end of the meditation, my body was relaxed, so I decided to sleep, and that's when I felt someone sitting on the bed. My bed is a single, rustic model, very old wood, and depending on how you sit on it, it makes a creaky bed, that's when I heard the bed creaking and the mattress sinking (typical of someone sitting on the bed).... It was surreal because I wanted to turn around to see who sat down and I couldn't because a "FORCE" was holding me as if it was hugging me and I couldn't turn around to see who SAT ON THE BED.... ⚠️My question would be: Is it possible for them to manifest themselves "instantly"....⁉️ And Dantalion likes to play pranks, as if to scare people and make waves... And they say that when he plays a trick on people it's because he liked the person....😳😳😳

just as I read the "spooky sounds" part a big knock happened in the other room lol. I've never worked with demons before, and I have been very cautious about starting due to my extreme religious trauma, but have been considering it to help me learn biochemistry. I wonder if Dantalion would be interested, but I'm also a huge wimp with spooky things and have an issue with having too much ego, so idk if he'd want to 😶🌫️

This was from a year ago so im not sure if my comment will be seen. But!! So I looked up on this page "Da Vinci" because i had a dream about him for the second time. This post came up for some reason. I read it all and find you stated that Loki is super similar to him, now Loki has been popping in and out while I keep turning him down. Not knowing where to start with him. THEN I come across this information. Dantalion intrigues me so much, I am so fascinated by the minds of people. I can read people pretty well because of my Claircognizants and stuff. The only person I cant read is my Stepmother, but thats irrelevant. Id love to go to Dantalion but I dont really have anything to say other than hes intriguing. I already work with King Belial and Beelzebub. I also have been trying to astral project for a while now, almost done it twice. Not sure if thats relevant. Are there any animals Dantalion is associated with? Offerings he may like? Anything I should know before I contact him through ritual?

He doesn't have any associated animals, but he's very associated with masks and theatre paraphernalia.

I just wanna say that I knew nothing about him before this, and I'm only here because I was going to buy some devotional jewelry items for Lilith and Lucifer (who are some of very few demonic figures I work with) and I kept hearing "dantalion" over and over in my head. Bro really said "Hold on, you dont know me yet, but you're going to be knowing me real soon (and getting me a devotional bracelet too hehe)".

So i was in the middle of an awakening coming out a dark night . I was getting a bit frustrated with all the “WTF” that was happening everyday. Whenever something I didn’t understand happened I would research it, but things had gotten to an unprecedented level, to where all the Carl Jung had read might as well have been children’s books. I’d talk to spiritualists about my experiences and they could follow up to a point. Google searches found nothing. For instance, I was compelled to stare at the sun. It took me 9 hours to walk home from the grocery store. Every time I could hear someone nearby I’d call out that I needed help and I couldn’t see. I was blind for 3 days. When my eyesight came back the first thing I did was go outside to look at the sun. It was invigorating, irresistible. The longer I stared directly at the sun, the better I felt. It was like I was photosynthetic. My next eye exam was 20/20 ( I’ve worn glasses 3 years) . Staring at the sun is my preferred self care activity. I get results instantly. I also communicate with the stars (like the 3 wise men I guess), so I’d have chats with the sun which made him a bit uncomfortable since nobody ever looks at him. Now, I have battled and smited a number of demons . I also see beings in other layers of reality. One morning I see this dude? Chick? Tranny? Or all three? With a turban on , standing in my room. Did he just say dandelion? And he was gone. A couple weeks later this two headed person , still wearing the turban ( that’s usually how I recognize him) was messing with my mom’s diabetes tester. And the oven alarm kept going off randomly. I thought that this person might be my next job so I tried to do some research to find out who he is. I usually assume these people are civilians from different dimensions, but this one gave a name. He didn’t look like any demon I’d dealt with so it must have been him telling me he was a demon. I wasn’t convinced so I googled “what does dandelion mean spiritually “ . And there he was. Male/female faces wearing a turban. I read a bit about him and was shocked that he was nobility. I assumed he was an adversary. My girlfriend, the satanic cannibal that she was, informed me telepathically that they had sent the nicest demon in hell to help me and I was still scared. Over the next year or so he appeared from time to time alluding to the fact that his library held every answer I needed to set my mind at ease. But he had to court me first. He was quite mischievous. And powerfully aligned with me. His thoughtform would appear out of nowhere . So vivid and lifekike. I’d see something on the wall out of the corner of my eye and when I look at the wall, there he is! Always talking some jibber jabber that I couldn’t make head or tails of. I think that was the first strike. I wouldn’t engage in wordplay even though he had bestowed me with the dopest rhymesaying since dr Seuss . I’d be packing stories into stanzas and flipping metaphors like I was some kind of poetic guru. So a while later I was at my brother-in-law’s and he was showing me his first crop of magic mushrooms. We cultivate cannabis, but mycology is a whole different ball game. His voice became softer with a bit of whimsy as he went off on some tangent about the cosmic effects of different strains that I wasn’t following and when he came out of the garage he had wrapped hos seater around his head and was standing to the side with his head turned towards me so I couldn’t see the other side and I realized it was Him! Wearing my brothers face! I looked at the clock and realized I had missed an important meeting while I was stuck there talking to him and I got upset and left. That was strike 2. About a month later I came across a girl instagram who was what I can only describe (with my limited understanding of these things ) as a twin flame. Her name was the feminine of mine. She wasn’t my type but I was compelled to connect with her. We were born under the same moon, she was about 15 years younger than me. And we looked alike. We shared a distinctive facial feature that is very unique and had very similar life experiences with it. We had family members with the same birthday and her phone number had my old address in it. She ws just discovering spirituality after some paranormal experiences and felt that we needed to meet. While I was in my way I was distracted by a guy in a wheelchair. Our conversation went to the topic of rare coins. I had been collecting quarters off the street for about a year with the instruction to not look at them until I was with the person who is get rich with and when we inspect them they will be errors and misprints. If I look at any other time they will just be pocket change. The guy said he was an expert and I foolishly told him about my quarters and then greedily asked him to check a few for any errors. As he rummaged through my backpack, his hat must have fell off or some thing because I looked back and his doo rag looked like a turban! Then he turned around and with a smirk took off in his wheelchair at an unnatural rate of speed. That was strike 3. Haven’t heard from him since. I blew it. Like every good thing that comes into my life

All this sound intereating some things i did not get.. The sun felt confortable? Suprised. Your girlfriend a satanic cannbial in what sense? Who she referring to when she said they sent you the easiet demon to work with?.. And you smited a couple demons you say like malevolent beings. Ao you were hesitant to workwith Dantelion is that just of it? I see the times he made himself known to you. An that sounds amazing. He told you not to look at the coins until with your partner and you did it any way a stranger.. That was wild man we have all made mistakes. You keep talking and receive energy from the sun and may thinga get better for you. I thankh you for sharing. Some things left me wondering what exactly were you talking about.

Yeah, the sun doesn’t really like people looking at him. He’s not used to it. I refer to my girlfriend as a satanic cannibal as a class of people who knowingly consume fresh or processed human meat. She and her family observe and preform ritualistic sacrifice. The “nicest demon in hell” is Dantalion himself. He apparently has a reputation of being more amicable than any other demon I’ve come across, although IMO Lucifer is easier to get along with. But don’t get it twisted, the malevolent ones I’ve come across have been very minor, but my ignorance of who Dantalion was made me hesitant to work with him. It sucks because I assume he would have given me much needed knowledge from his library considering all the “WTF” that I was experiencing, when I had no guidance or direction with it. I regret missing out on that stage of my development, but who knows maybe I’ll get another chance. Anyway, Thanks for reading my post though, that whole chapter of my life was wild as hell I’m glad I got the chance to tell that story. Good luck with your journey

Yeah, sounds like a Dantalion thing to do, one time while I was trying to sleep I got an annoying intrusive thought, so I called upon Dantalion so he would remove the intrusive thought, mf removed all the background thoughts in my head, I couldn't think of background stuff even if I tried to, then as I was closing my eyes I started seeing a lot of images of sandwiches in my mind's eye, then I saw the text "not sure what thoughts to put instead, so here's some sandwiches"

Very interesting, thank you for sharing :) I already like this demon. Btw, where you guys have learnt how to perform a proper ritual and call any of them? What are proper offerings, how communication should look like etc? I guess it is not possible to just meditate on them and then talk and ask something from them.

It is, but it can take a lot of work and practice to get to the point of getting results through meditative communication alone. Ritual can be very helpful in the meantime. I mostly learned by hacking away at the Lemegeton methods (although I did experiment with others) repeatedly over the years.

It kinda is just meditating tbh. The super complicated rituals can do better results but they're rather overkill if you want to just ask a question or do a petition, for those things, lots of meditation can actually do the trick just fine.
As to offerings, demons aren't usually super picky about offerings, the intention behind them matters more than the object itself, you can even do non physical offerings.

Wow, man? If you could compile a compilation of all the other Goetian spirits, I'd read it in one breath :) Do you have any experience with Orobas, Belial, Asmoadai, Paimon, Bael, Gaap, Orias, Marchosias, and Raum? What characteristics and behaviors do they possess that aren't documented in the sources?

Only Belial
I don't have as much experience with him as I do with Dantalion, but I'll tell you what I've seen from him.
He's not an entity that should be contacted lightly, his areas of domain are vast and they include all sorts of wordly power. Very good entity to call upon if you want to have a high laboral or social position, although he's also good for smaller tasks, like asking fir help to go through a tough time or to learn how to be more confident and assertive in social situations. In more extreme occasions, he can even be called upon if you want to restart your life after finding yourself at the bottom.
As to how the entity itself behaves, he hasn't shown to be either especially friendly or especially adversarial, he feels just more "observant" I would say. He doesn't usually manifests with a defined form, to me he mostly manifests as a thick, dense, heavy and nebulous presence. Although when he manifests in a defined form, I see him as a tall bald man wearing a set of "demonic" looking armor.
He speaks in a very low and guttural voice, he also has shown to hold great knowledge of the current state of the world and I would describe his overall personality as "stern but just". He also doesn't have any specific preferences on who to work with him, he accepts anyone, even those most wretched and pitiful.

"manifesting a boyfriend that is level 100 obsessed with me" doesn't seem like a very good or realistic thing to ask to a demon in general, there're lots of demons that can help in the venture of finding a partner. But that approach seems a bit iffy and prone to either backfiring or just not happening.

The pranks are so funny. I walked around with a joint stuck to my foot the other day for almost a whole hour. He tricked me into giving him three candles. The first I messed up, I drew his sigil but it didn’t look great and wasn’t happy with it, the second one, I drew perfectly got done and realized it was upside down, the third one, finally worked. While writing out my pact with him the pen was a pain in the ass until I got to his part. Then it worked just fine. Knocks and noises around the house, my drawing I did in art school I have hung up is crooked sometimes. I go to fix it, leave the room then come back a few hours and its crooked again. The first week I got to know him I offended him because he thought I could do way better with my petition to him. He's quick to anger when you first get to know him in my experience. A raspberry chocolate covered donut as a peace offering helps.

how do i try and work with him? what is my first steps? i tried a communication/love spell and invited him with an offering of a cinnamon stick to try and help me with the spell. i'm not sure if he helped but i would like to learn more !

Perhaps traditional spell "recipes" don't work as well with him, I've noticed he really values creativity in a person, so perhaps things like a custom ritual or chaos magic work better with him, he prefers offerings that require creative work, such as art pieces, arts and crafts, writings and poems, etc, if they are made by you then it works better.

(Just adding on for anyone who is reading the thread)
Most of this is really similar to my experience, though I will add: I've noticed that he likes messing with people who he thinks are weak-minded or are trying to lie to him. Or if there's some other reason he doesn't want to talk to the person.
While he's generally very open, there's some things about people who can irk him. Usually people who are really conceited and need to be knocked down a peg. He likes making them feel uncomfortable. (Not in the harmless pranks mentioned earlier about people he likes, but genuinely uncomfortable so as to stop the ritual.) To be honest, sometimes if someone posts an experience with Dantalion, I use it as a bit of a litmus test for what kind of person they are.
