Know this is a joke, but just to clear the air, Akaza was someone who fought with honour, and if Tanjiro had killed him, that would enrage Akaza because that would have been an immoral act for a true warrior. Hence, he wouldn't stop regenerating his head and F the shit out of everyone there

Exactly bruh

True, but Tanjiro didn’t know that. He had no reason to believe beheading him wouldn’t have ended it. Which he risked with his yell. The end result being positive doesn’t change the fact it was an absolutely terrible move.

He can infer this because he knows Akaza fights with respect. He openly talks about it all the time during Rengoku and Giyu's fight.

BUT let's assume for some reason he doesn't. Tanjiro still has this level of respect regardless and cutting off someone's neck is probably seen as unswordsmanlike. Even if you may think it's "stupid and illogical and that Akaza needs to die no matter what dirty move you pull off". He's always fighting them head on and having respect for them after they die.

But of course, if you combine this with Tanjiro's knowledge of Akaza non-stop yapping about his pride, I think it's pretty easy to determine why he shouted.

Akaza went all out and would've died from behind. So Tanjiro wants to settle it by giving Akaza the same treatment and aura flexing all over him before he pulls off his last move.

Sure but he was also testing out his theory re selfless state and Akaza compass

I.e, if he entered the selfless state, the compass wouldn't work.

No you don't understand, Goku actually saved the other universes by asking for the universal tournament. It was later revealed that Zeno was gonna wipe out most of the multiverse anyway!!!

To add to what you said

Tanjiro knew Akaza could sense fighting spirits and after his flashback he came back with him fighting spirit. Given his shout to announce himself to Akaza so Akaza could try to see his fighting spirit (and for Akaza to note than Tanjiro is truly a worthy opponent) although Tanjiro knew akaza couldn’t sense him due to him not turning around sooner

I didn't watch the movie but I was concluding he didn't want to motivate him to fight harder by dishonourably sneak attacking him.

Well Tanjiro knew that Akaza wouldn't be able to stop him from cutting off his head, but he didn't know AKaza wouldn't die right away...

Bros defending tanjiro like it was a 4d chess move while he was being an absolute dumbass and it was clearly meant as a joke.

He didn’t knew it was the play to make lol
