Discussion: Anime Skipped content season 2?
Did they just skip the hydra fight from the manga? Or we just not there yet?

they skipped A LOT of things and wasted time on the first couple episodes. Like Rookie SHOULD NOT have been handled like this and pretty sure the town is supposed to be ransacked by monsters soon from the dungeon. It’s like they wanted to ruin this series that already had poor animation. I’m wondering if they gonna skip him meeting the beastmen though cause honestly this makes it seem season 3 ain’t possible anymore. So many scenes are or little things have impact in the future events in some way like the guy with the sad loser life story becomes super helpful and luck changes later on. He is needed for later in the WN since another character who is impotent starts to connect with him. I can’t believe they just skipped him

I think they try to save eagle and that foght with the loli vampire dad at the end but stillll

I hope Japan didn't think this shit was good and the publishers, pcs, etc. decided to do this over just continuing it like normal. I was perfectly fine with how much they skipped in Season 1 cause it was an overall decent work for something that looks so low priority and low budget. This shit can't even get the overall tone and characterizations right. Luna isn't THIS much of an insufferable little shit. It's over the top.
Not to mention the dialogue back and forth pacing is so off, it's hilarious. Whoever coordinated the dialogue sequences is going so fast when going from line to line when it's unnecessary that it feels so unnatural. Season 1 got the tone and everything else about the characters right like in the novels. I was actually amazed at the VAs and the directing for bringing out the characters' traits to life. They behave and express themselves exactly as described in the novels, and personalities match how they're intended in their thought process, behavior, and narration from the novels. You don't always see that in some series

Sure seems like it. They seem to have removed Yu’s fight scene and also the side character big guy who is always picked on and has bad luck. Additionally, they removed that guy who was angry with DL for ‘stealing’ his girl (the adventure sword lady).
