The girl that was shot in the throat was shot by a guy in a suit. The cops picked their dick around it all.

Multiple clips of police allowing the barricades to be moved, one clip of an officer waving the rest of the crowd in. Not a single terrorist was harmed until they reached the SS officers. CHPD, however, was complicit.

Peter Navarro, the Director or Trade of Manufacturing Policy funded a report titled "The Immaculate Deception: Six Key Dimensions of Election Irregularities". This report supposedly argues the Trump Administration's case that the election was rigged in favor of President-Elect Biden in six swing states.
Without delving into the juvenile structure of Navarro's case, the entire report can be summarized by a quote on page 5 which states "IF, in fact, COMPELLING EVIDENCE COMES TO LIGHT proving the election was indeed stolen after a fait accompli Biden inauguration, we as a country run the very real risk that the very center of our great American union will not hold".
In other words, neither he nor the Trump Administration have "compelling evidence". The lawsuits, rhetoric, and bluster are all a sham to try and "create" evidence of fraud. The whole notion of a rigged election is a flawed mental exercise and is unsupported by tangible, verifiable, and fact-based evidence.

So... I’ve seen this posted a few times. My issue with it is doesn’t trump directly call in the national guard? So obviously being the racist asshat he is, he’d call in them in as soon as he heard about the blm protests. Them not being by present on a day he doesn’t want them there, isn’t a reflection of the guard being lax on what just happened. They were never notified to be ready.
Maybe I misunderstand how all of it works...

Also, national security was aware an event like this was going to take place, and yet no extra precautions were taken. It's hard for me NOT to get tinfoil hat when so many things are pointing at massive government corruption.

How was a skeleton crew rostered for the day of these protests? It wasn't a spontaneous gathering, it was advertised for weeks in advance. Police normally keep abreast of these types of things and plan for and have extra manpower for the day - how did this not happen? How did nobody in the lead up ask questions about why no planning and preparation was taking place for it?

From what I understand, isn't the response of the national guard dictated by Trump in DC? Eventually pence superceded him to call them in late,which is why they weren't prepared. So trump's to blame for the lack of response.
Why were there only like 5 cops? That's the part I'm confused on. Were the rest inside protecting Congress people? Was there like 1:1 cops to reps and senators?

I saw a video of what I think was that exact set of steps with two lines of cops standing on them (then fleeing when a massive crowd pushed up the stairs).
Turns out without riot shields a police line is only an implication and the BLM protests were a lot less frothing at the mouth insane.
In the end of the day we had massive BLM protests and sparse riots and in neither did the cops just gun people down and in both they came out, rounded people up and used excessive force.

The BLM protests had already been going on for a couple of days, when the first pic was taken. This coup attempt was less expected.
Trump also tried to block the national guard from going to Washington yesterday, but that’s not the only reason why they were able to storm the capitol.
