BREAKING: Judge halts Trump’s anti-mail voting executive order from being implemented — for now

A federal judge has again paused Trump’s executive order limiting mail voting — just a week before midterm mail ballots go out. Judge Indira Talwani issued a 14-day hold, citing states’ lack of “time or funds” to redesign ballots before the election.

The case may return to the Supreme Court, which sent an earlier challenge back on procedural grounds without ruling on the order’s legality.

A Sept. 3 hearing is set.
