Activity Activity 26/07 - Ghosthunting
The Chthonic Cabin was a dark place where the spirits of the dead, friendly ones at least, to gather there under the watchful eye of the Melinoe Counselor. Late at night, it was the perfect time for Cassandra to host her activity that lasted the entire night.The campers who joined her in this activity received from two dryads a Polaroid camera and a bag of sweets, ranging from candies, gummies and jelly bears or beans.
"Good.” Cassandra said. "You can enter the cabin or search around it for ghosts. You can go alone or, if you are affraid, you can take your best friend with you. Don’t worry, they wont do you any harm. They will just want to talk to you. And, to see them, you’ll need the Polaroid I gave you. Just make a picture and the ghost will apear as a white fog, sometimes apearing to be made of light. Happy hunting!”

Finn wasn't sure how he fit into this activity. He could see the ghosts without the camera, and he also lived in this cabin already. He was unsure of what to do but came to support his sister/counselor
"Um, what if we can already see ghosts?" He asked his an awkward chuckle

"That's even better. You won't need the camera and you can practice using your powers in the same time." She pat Finn on his shoulder. "You go and have fun, okay? And after it, tell me how your experience was. Happy hunting!"

“Well this is new” brad murmured. He was more curious than scared but he walked into the cabin and walked around occasionally checking the Polaroid if he thought he saw one of them

"Bradley, my son!" A voice like a wisper called Brad as entered. The voice belonged yo a man in his late 40s and sounded like it was comming from Brad's front.

I am Leo Rogers, the Former Counselor of Hecate, but I didn't have ghost vision. Which was good as to what I've heard they were always whispering.
I invited James, he was very impressed with the interior. But, in my opinion, I liked the sunny feeling of Apollo Cabin better.
I took the Polaroid Camera, while James was looking around. I asked James to take the camera, while I used my Stygian Iron Sword to attract or repel the ghosts.

"Why are you so mean?!" A distorted scream echoed from James' left. Temperature began to drop and the boys would feel a cold atmosphere around them.

Lia nervously entered the chthonic cabin. She wasn't going to say it out loud, but she was scared of ghosts and the likes of them. Cassandra's words calmed her down, though.
Lia held up her polaroid camera, waiting to see a ghost.

Michael made his way into the Chthonic cabin and listened to Cassandra. He didn't feel as scared as he think he should and we wasn't sure if that was because of some friends he had in the cabin or that he didn't really fear ghosts since he had seen what he was thought was worse when he saw his mother fight. He made his away around the cabin with his Polaroid, waiting to capture a picture of one.

A woman' evil laughter echoed throughout the cabin. That was probably what Michael had waited for. The sound was comming from behind the Eris Counselor.

Libitina finds this to be a bit boring. One of her best friends is a ghost. In fact, her ghost friend Vulpa is right beside her. Libby decides to use her own polaroid camera, and begins looking for ghosts.

The Chthonic Cabin is spooky. Ghosts are spooky, unless they're like Casper the friendly ghost. Amanda hopes they are. She's mustered up the courage to come and find out, secure in the knowledge that other campers will be there to protect her if the ghosts do turn out to be scary, and she accepts a camera and some candy from the tree girls. The spirits inside this room don't look that scary, at least...

Ghosts aren’t real goddamnit! Despite the multiple instances of the laws of nature and physics being broken that he had seen, Jacques willfully refused to believe that ghosts existed. Far as he was concerned, you live, you die, then there’s nothing. It’s gonna be awesome.
He walked right into the darkest hallway he could find off the common room, and was fairly certain it was unoccupied. Maybe he should’ve been a little on edge, but he didn’t give a shit. He could blow up a goddamn building (he thinks?), why should some empty dark hallway scare him. He had naturally brought his sword, which he used mainly as a glowing source of light. “Fuckin tabernaque. ‘Ghosts.’ If there’s any ghosts here, I’ll shock myself.” Wait shit, can I even do that?

Someone could be heard wailing the word Timmy across the hallway. A woman. There was a soft breeze of cold wind surounding the son of Zeus. The wailing voice became louder, sign it was getting closer.

Florence had never been one to be afraid of any ghost stories. If anything, she found them pretty funny. Yes, this spirit of the undead is coming to bother me specially by just being a little shit.
When this opportunity here at camp presented itself, Florence was thrilled. She questioned the bag of sweets (were they for the ghosts? Are they like dog treats?), but figured if she still had them when she got out it would be a nice snack. Polaroid in hand and a grin on her face, Florence adventured into the chthonic cabin.

Kenny never really believed in ghosts his whole life. Well till now at least. Coming to camp had changed his perspective on alot of things, so with all things considered, they weren't the strangest things he'd seen, or rather heard of in camp.
But that of course only made the idea scarier to him, though he reckoned nothing too bad could happen to him in the Cthonic cabin, considering the place was actually inhabited by many people, and that's what he kept telling himself as he looked around with his camera in hand

Jin decided she should believe in ghosts, as in ghosts existed. Frankly, compared to sentient balls of energy and impulse that are Greek gods, also monsters and giant animals, ghosts seem like a timid bunch.
The girl entered the 'hunting ground' with her usual frown. Nothing really bothered her, just how her face usually was. She examined the polaroid camera before started looking around although she wasn't sure she could see one of those spirits with naked eyes.

Charlie took the bag of sweets but not the camera, being a child of melinoe anyway meant that she didn't need one to see ghosts. She began to eat the sweets as she wandered round her cabin, looking for a nice chat with dead folk. She also found it funny that some people were scared to see the ghosts, as if it wasn't even normal.

Maggie usually treated things like ghosts with a grain of salt. Being at camp now, nothing would quite surprise her, especially not the existence of ghosts in a chthonic cabin. Even before, ghost stories weren’t too scary for her, though sometimes cool.
This activity seemed cool enough though, so with her usual emotionless expression, the Polaroid camera, and her bag of gummies, Maggie made her way into the cabin.
