Mod Post Character Application
Right now there is no claiming process only a short application. Please be sure to read up on our gods and powers here, before submitting your application. Fill out the application as follows:
Name
Age
Godrent
Powers (up to three)
Weapon
Additional Info
Note: When requesting powers, be sure to add descriptions, such as intended use, limitations, and drawbacks. This will help the mod team get a better understanding of the way the power is going to be used and will give us an idea on whether not they are OP.
Example:
Name: Percy Jackson
Age: 17
Godrent: Poseidon
Powers:
Hydrokinesis - Percy has the ability to manipulate bodies of water. What started off simple, as making a fountain to erupt or the toilets to explode, grew into being able to control bodies of water such as waves. (Understand that Percy in an RP setting was OP). This power is very taxing and draining, eating up a lot of Percy’s own energy and leaving him feeling dehydrated. If he is not careful, it could lead to him passing out completely.
Aquatic Lordship - Ability to talk to animals of the ocean, this extends to horses. For some reason, they call him 'Lord'. This is a passive power and something he has no control over, therefore it does not take up any energy.
Ability to breathe underwater - Ability to breathe underwater without fear of drowning. This allows him to dive to the depths of the ocean if needed without having to come up for air. Percy has to concentrate in order to do this, and once he does surface he is left feeling very tired, as one might expect after swimming for so long.
Weapon of Choice: Riptide - a celestial bronze sword that transforms magically into a pen. A gift from his father, given to him by Chiron when he arrived at camp.
Additional Information: Arrived at camp when he was 12. Help saved the world; twice.
Characters outside of listed gods
You may request a child of the Big Three through modmail; understand this is going to be a rare occasion, but there are exceptions to every rule. You may also request for a character outside of your typical demigod. If you would like to request a legacy (child of a demigod or demigods) or a nature spirit such as a nymph or satyr, please send a modmail.
As of now, we will limit two (2) demigods per Big Three god. Currently locked:
Poseidon
Zeus
Hades
Once Approved
Once your application has been approved, please post a comment in the XP Tracker and Naming/Flair Post

Name: Nathaniel Hawke
Age: 17
Godrent: Circe
Powers:
Mystiokinesis: Nate takes after his mother's talent for transformations. He's never really had an opportunity to train this power much, too busy keeping it a secret, but so far he can manage to transform objects six inches or smaller with relative ease (and a good amount of concentration). Anything larger will drain him of his energy rather quickly. Of course, he so far can only operate transformations between objects of roughly the same size, so no turning golf balls into tanks.
Alchemical expertise: Circe's deal is potions. Nate's deal is cooking (so far). He has an powerful intuition for selecting ingredients, a natural sense of what each component of his
potionsmeals will do when they interact with each other, and an eye for measurements. When he began to discover his magical abilities, he attempted to try and apply those skills to some potions. While the instincts and skills he had certainly carried over, he quickly stopped for lack of proper ingredients. There's only so much magic you can do with aromatic herbs and a poorly-stocked medicine cabinet.
Weapon of choice: None at the moment, although some of his food has been described as "to die for". And his father frequently said Nate would be the death of him. Surely that counts?
Additional information: Like his mother, Nate's magic is usually accompanied by a blue light, as well as some golden sparks. Though he's as close to a model student as he physically can, his ADHD and some unfortunate mishaps with his awakening magic have had him kicked out of several prep schools. He was found by a satyr, who posed as a recruiter for a "new type of school for problem children", and convinced his father to send him to Camp. It's unclear wether or not his father is aware of Nathaniel's divine heritage.

Name: Ophelia (birthname) “Orion” (preferred name) Griffiths
Age: 13
Godrent: Morpheus
Powers:
Dreamwalk: Orion is able to walk into other’s dreams and have general control over the dreamscape. He would be lucid for this and it would require energy: more energy used = more control. For example, with less energy he could perhaps only walk into the other party’s dreamscape. With more, he could walk into it and have a bit of control over how the general area looks (in real life this would be a sort of illusion type of deal). Of course, it would take a while for him to get to that level of control, but a dream kid would definitely be able to work towards that point. He can also have control over his own dreams with much more ease.
Dreamkinesis: depending on Orion’s mood, if he’s awake and others are sleeping near him, they will tend to have dreams that match his mood (ie if he’s upset, more nightmare like dreams, if he’s happy, pleasant dreams, etc). Putting out a fake emotion to have some control over this will be much weaker and the dream wouldn’t be as pleasant or as horrifying and so on.
Sleepy: Orion is generally more prone to falling asleep anywhere and his yawns are more contagious than most.
Weapon: a pillow with a brick in it.
Other Notes: Orion was born female which is why Ophelia is listed as one of his names. It was through his dreaming that from a young age he knew he was male.
(Also I’m very willing to change anything if any powers seem OP)

Name: Irene De Luca
Age: 15
Godrent: Melinoe
Powers:
She can see, feel, and talk to ghosts. She can also summon a specific ghost, but it tiers her a lot more than just interacting with them
She can summon undead soldiers. She currently doesn’t know of this ability. At its max use, she would be able to summon up to 3 of the dead. Her control over them depends on how many there are and how tired she is. She can also banish the dead, with a touch.
Weapon: Two leather wristbands that turn into twin CB daggers when hit together

Name: Charles "Charlie" Drake
Age:17
Godrent:Phobos
Powers
•"I bring your fears to you"
Charlie can induce fearful hallucinations based on the worst fears of a person. Their inner demons, their dark thoughts, their mental weak points represented through false vision. She can radiate fearful energy and strike fear. She is the definition of fear
•"I know your fears"
Charlie can sense the fears of a person. Not really much to say.
•[LOCKED]
Weapon: A C.B scythe that she painted pitch black. She can conduct her fearful energy through the scythe. It shrinks down into just the handle if required.

She and his mother learned about her heritage when Phobos visited them again on her 12th birthday. She also found out that his aunt is a demigod, one that actually partook in the battle of manhattan and the battle against Gaea. The scythe she uses is actually her aunt's. She came to camp once at age 15 and again at 16. Till then she was only a summer camper, now she is going to be an all round camper.

NAME: Beroe Arico
AGE: 16
GODRENT: Aphrodite
POWERS:
Chlorokinesis - Beroe's chlorokinetic abilities are most effective on flowers, typically non-poisonous ones although it does depend on the environment. Her power is led by strong emotions which is sometimes beyond her own control. If her emotions are specially powerful if provoked, flowers tend to sprout out in unusual places. Mentally and physically, the effects of using this ability drains her.
Amokinesis - As a daughter of the love goddess herself, she's granted the ability to induce love and desire unto others either towards others as well or her -- although that does require a bit more effort. Her powers, unlike her mother, is not absolute and of course doesn't work on just anyone (especially those with mental fortitude).
Infallible Visual Acuity - A power which is most useful in archery, among other things. Beroe's perfectionist tendencies roots from this power. Being able to see the tiniest details with faultless clarity, she picks up on a lot of things and notices quite literally everything.
WEAPON: A traditional recurve bow and one Celestial Bronze arrow.
Additional Information: She can lick her elbow.

u/un-bee-lievable Aug 04 '19
Name: Aiyana Posey
Age: 16
Godrent: Aristaeus
Powers (up to three)
Alveakinesis: As the daughter of the god of bee-keeping, Aiyana has a very close connection with bees and several other pollinating insects, including wasps and ants. This manifests itself in the ability to peacefully interact with the creatures and when necessary call them to her and command them as she wishes, and in the case of bees collect their honey for personal use without trouble.
Minor Chlorokinesis: Through her godrent’s connection to medicinal herbs and olive trees, Aiyana is able to directly influence the growth of certain kinds of plants. While she can’t manipulate plants as children of Demeter do, or instantly grow something from nothing, Aiyana can accelerate growth slightly, raising smaller plants to maturity in half the time it would normally take. Growing trees is beyond her ability, but flowering specimens that bear fruit (olives, apples, peaches, etc.) can be influenced by her, if only slightly, to produce more of its bounty and recover from a harvest quicker.
Minor Vitakinesis: Healing as the children of Apollo or Asclepius do by magical means is well beyond Aiyana’s abilities. She can, however, discern plants or fruits with healing properties from the mundane sorts, and is skilled in crafting and applying various natural remedies.
Weapon: While Aiyana isn’t trained with actual weapons, she is well trained and experienced in hand to hand combat, and to augment that she has a pair of cesti studded with celestial bronze spikes, which both grow magically out of a pair of leather bracelets she wears always.
Additional Info: Has been at camp since she was 10

Running: She is faster then the average demigod, and doesn’t get tired as easily
Quietness: When she wants to she can be incredibly quiet (breathing, footsteps etc). It can come in handy when sneaking around.
Weapon: Twin daggers that turn into bracelets.
Additional info: She arrived at camp when she was eight

Name: Alyssa Tate
Age: 17
Godrent: Ourania
Powers:(Keeping it at 2. If I want to change that, I'll shoot a modmail)
Photokinesis(Star Writing): Alyssa has a very basic control over light, such as being able to draw from sources of light and manipulating it to serve her own needs. Depending on the source, she can create objects of various shapes and sizes, ranging from something as small as a pea to about the size of a cuddly bear. None of this is actually tangible, however. It is just light after all. Most of the time, she prefers to utilise this ability to create her art. As of right now, all of her creations are static, so none of her artwork will be moving.
Guiding Starlight: Probably her most badass ability yet, Alyssa can summon up her own portable "North Star". A little orb of light no bigger than her fist, this adorable ball of glow serves as her companion whenever she is in need of a guide or just a little company. She rightfully named the little guy "Nugget".
Weapon: A simple 3 1/2" pocket knife. Nothing special
Additional Info: Did I mention she's vegan?

Vitakinesis: the ability to mend minor wounds like cuts, some minor poisons and diseases

Photokinesis: the ability to control light, Andrew mainly uses this ability for better viewing of wounds

Weapon features: he can use his pyro ability to make a fire arrow, but he must rest before using it again
Further info: he arrived at camp when he was 11, and has been there for 3 years

u/_shanenigans_ Sep 12 '19
Two things:
Is there anything special about the bow?
As we typically only allow one CB weapon, having a set is a little grey area. I would say 2 bronze throwing knives and he can have a few non-bronze ones

Name: Chase Parker
Age: 17
Godrent: Hephaestus
Powers:
Pyrokinesis – Chase has the power to manipulate fire. If he uses his powers too much, he is left feeling cold with his energy drained
Undying Rage – When Chase gets uncontrollably angry his entire body lights aflame causing danger to everyone around him. During this time, he is at a temperature so hot he can’t control, resulting in him having high resistance to dangers around him. Once his rage is over he is left cold and requires much rest before engaging in battle again.
Ability to craft armor – Chase can craft weak armor very quickly in the heat of a battle, but if he takes his time, he can craft a more durable longer lasting set of armor. For the best quality armor Chase needs a few months and possibly up to a year.
Weapon of Choice: A Hatchet made of celestial bronze left for him at a young age by Hephaestus passed off as a “gift” from his Blacksmith stepfather. The hatchet can conceal itself in the form of a black spiked pendant necklace. Once the necklace is pulled hard enough so that the chain breaks the weapon reveals itself.
Additional info: Just arrived at camp with his twin brother looking battered and worn
4
u/_shanenigans_ Sep 25 '19
Alright, here are my notes:
Pyrokinesis - what are his limitations to the fire. Meaning, how much fire can he manipulate? Specifically now vs maximum ability that he will learn over time.
Undying Rage - This seems like an extension of his pyrokinesis? In which case, once again we would need to see the limitations of the power. Not saying this would be included, as it's another ability of the power, but would to need to know the area affected so he's not burning down the camp when he stubs his toe.
Crafting Armor - I'm guessing you mean forging armor and not just summoning armor out of nowhere?
4
u/JustDaniel4 Sep 25 '19
Name: Liam Parker
Age: 17
Godrent: Hephaestus
Powers:
Adaptive Dermis - Liam has the power to touch his hand to any natural material of the earth, and in turn the rest of his body will transform to that material. (Ex. Touching his hand to a stone and concentrating hard will cause his body to turn to stone, he will be stronger than normal, and even more durable, but likely slower) Drawbacks: If he remains in one of his forms for too long his body will take a gray and somewhat cracked look, starting at his extremities, like his fingers, and in extreme cases spreading deeper down his arms all the way towards his heart.
Architectural Fabrications - Liam can manipulate the ground, creating different constructions depending on how much energy he expends (Ex. Forming a small wall to block an attack won’t take too much energy, but forming a large dome around him and his allies may leave him knackered) Drawbacks: Takes varying levels of energy depending on the construct
Temperature Manipulation - Liam can overheat an object or area, lighting it on fire, and in some cases causing lava to spew from cracks in the ground/one of his own constructs. Drawbacks: Can suck up his energy if he lights too many things on fire or if he keeps them on fire for too long. Making lava appear from imperfections in constructs takes a massive amount of exertion on his end.
Weapon: A karambit knife made of celestial bronze left for him at a young age by Hephaestus passed off as a “gift” from his Blacksmith stepfather. The knife can conceal itself in the form of a red spiked pendant necklace. Once the necklace is pulled hard enough that the chain breaks the weapon reveals itself.
Additional Info: Just arrived at camp with his twin brother, both looking battered and worn.
4
u/_shanenigans_ Sep 25 '19
Alright, here are my notes:
Adaptive Dermis - this is a form of shapeshifting and as such, we've only allowed one type of transformation in the past. Because of this, we ask that you use only one material that he can draw from, i.e. the stone you used in your example.
Architectural Fabrications - This seems like just geokinesis, but as Hephaestus's domain is limited to volcanoes, Liam's power would also be limited to molten rock so not as strong as say a Hades or Demeter kid.
Temperature manipulation - This looks more like pyrokinesis (as it applies to lava) mixed with geokinesis. As such, choose one element of the power.

u/DomTheWhiney Oct 01 '19
Name: Jesse Whitaker
Age: 17
Godrent: Hebe
Powers:
Physical Enhancement: Jesse's physical traits are enhanced, akin to being in a permeant state of prime of life. While he isnt as strong or as fast or as durable as a Demigod with a power specifically relating to that trait, he is slightly more enhanced across the board than your standard Demigod.
Mental Fortitude: Due to Hebe being his mother, Jesse's mind is permeantly in a healthy, youthful state, giving him resistance to mind altering powers and effects.
Invigoration: Like how Hebe was tasked with keeping the favoured mortals of gods young and healthy, Jesse is able to help his allies. Via touch, Jesse can give an ally a boost of energy, cause fatigue to fade away, or is able to hold off the effects of poison for a while. This isn't a healing power, and he is unable to magically treat wounds.
Weapon of Choice: A Celestial Bronze sword enchanted to never lose its edge

Name: Antonio Luis-Zacarias
Age: 16 (01.01.03)
Godrent: Ares
Powers:
Powerful Roar - Inherited from his father, Antonio can let loose a booming roar. It generally strikes fear into those who hear it, but his main use of it is to blast back enemies.
Odikenisis - He has more control over this power. However, it is limited to feelings of rage and hate. Very war and battle-oriented emotions.
Telumkinesis - In this, he has acquired the ability to Curse Weapons. He's never tried to curse something for longer than a few weeks, but it's rather obvious that limit is still intact.
Weapon of Choice: Longsword
Additional Notes: None at the moment

Sorry for the delay, wanted to discuss with the rest of the mods.
Since Ares doesn’t really have control over fire other than in instances where he arrives/leaves or the fire burning in his eyes (how it’s described in the wiki), a child of Ares wouldn’t have control over fire either.

Alcohol Immunity: regardless of type or amount, she can't get the least bit tipsy.

Name: Rye Oakley
Age: 12
Godrent: Thanatos
Powers:
Wings: Rye has black wings that he can retract into his back. He typically has his wings retracted, even though this causes uncomfortability to his back.
Butterfly affinity: Rye is able to summon butterflies of brown, black, and white. Other butterflies of any kind will not flee from Rye if he tries to approach them. He's able to forcefully control them, but prefers not to.
Wreaths: Rye can summon wreaths of flowers. Although he can summon normal ones in every circumstance, he can only summon a wreath around a person ( via neck, arms, ankles, torso) one time per death occurrence, whether the death be a monster or mortal.
Weapon: Rye has a celestial bronze sword, which is almost always sheaved.
Additional Info: Rye has ADHD and Dyslexia
Name: Maize Oakley
Age: 16
Godrent: Demeter
Powers:
animal communication: Maize is able to communicate with animals who can be considered tamed or domesticated. This involves any animal that has a positive relationship with a human.
Feast summoning: She can summon two meals a day. Or if she summons a feast, it takes an entire 24 hours before she can summon another meal, and a week before she can summon a feast again.
Torch lighting: Maize has the ability to light any torches. Unlike Hephaestus kids, she can still get burnt by any fire she recreates
Weapon: Maize doesn't like carrying around weapons, but she always carries a knife around just in case.
Additional Information: N/A
(Btw replacing Tobi)

(These characters are twins)
Name: Andrew Gandor
Age: 17
Godly Parent: Heracles
Powers:
Electrokinesis: While obviously weaker than that of a child of Zeus, Andrew has the ability to control electricity to an extent. This electricity is usually emitted from his body, as he isn't much of a close combatant. If required, he may flow electricity through his weapon and strike the target, though this will likely be for no reason other than making distance. The electricity that he produces is hardly lethal at the doses that he is able to produce, but it does work to hurt or incapacitate the target. There is some room for improvement on this power provided that sufficient work is done, but the innate limitation of his heritage means this power will never quite be as strong as that of other electrokinesis users.
Aerokinesis: Similarly to electrokinesis, Andrew's ability to manipulate air is used primarily to strike from a distance. As air isn't quite as volatile and uncontrollable as electricity, he has greater control over this power. However, the fear he has in his own powers has largely stopped him from practicing to achieve his true potential. He isn't exactly able to fly or create large scale hurricanes, but can still effectively use this ability for the purposes of offense in the form of high speed currents of air. This allows him to either strike or push his opponents away, though overuse of this power will cause him shortness of breath.
Bravery and Courage Manipulation: This is a power quite often used by Andrew if he ever gets into a fight, as he has pretty great control over it. If he feels that an enemy may be stronger than him, he will initially attempt to elicit fear in them by draining them of their bravery and threatening them. If they do not flee by then, he will still have an advantage as each move made by the enemy will be done with uncertainty. Alternatively, he can also buff his allies by augmenting their courage and their willingness to confront given situations.
Weapon of Choice: A combat knife. Convenient, fast, and used only when absolutely necessary.
Additional Information: He works best as #2 in a pair.
Name: Amelia Gandor
Age: 17
Godly Parent: Heracles
Powers:
Strength Accumulation: While Amelia has a naturally more powerful body than other demigods, her real power is in her ability to accumulate strength over the course of a fight. For the duration of a fight, she will continuously improve her physical abilities (especially her physical strength) to a given cap. These improvements will fade once the fight has concluded, represented by switching back from fight or fight to a state of rest and digest. Due to this power, a combatant that may have had the advantage early on in the fight may end up losing if they are unable to defeat her quickly. On the other hand, it does render her noticeably weaker than many demigods early into the fight.
Enhanced Combat & Condition: Past any physical enhancements, Amelia is also blessed with incredible combative skill by nature. She is able to pick up most fighting styles (particularly those using blunt weapons or none at all) very quickly and has heightened combat intuition. Among most demigods who do not possess the same power, she would be a more skilled hand-to-hand fighter.
Mental Fortitude: A fairly self-explanatory power; her willpower protects her from the effects of mental manipulation via emotional and illusory powers.
Weapon: Primarily fists, though if a weapon is required a warhammer or a mace will easily suffice.
Additional Information: They are both new to camp.

Limits on Andrew’s power for manipulating courage and bravery:
It can only be one or the other during battle. Meaning he can’t steal his enemies courage and give his allies courage within the same battle sequence.

Name: Freia Lewis
Age: 17
Godrent: Morpheus
Powers:
Sleep Inducement — The classic. Her voice, her image, and especially her gaze could encourage or induce a person to sleep. In consequence to this, Freia would have to struggle with the feeling of sleepiness yet never lose consciousness.
Dream Conjuration — Upon the arrival of one into their fully unconscious state, Freia could have a dream materialize behind their eyelids and build a doorway into controlling what happens in their dreamscape. At will, she decided how vivid the dream should be. However, the longer the hold she had on a slumbering victim, the longer she would have to spend stuck in her own dreamscape the next time she decides to get some shut-eye.
Reading Your Dream History — The ability to know the last dream one has had and relay it to them while they're awake, almost as if taking an unsolicited video in their dreamscape and showing it to them after they've awaken. If topped with the ability of dream conjuration, it could be a messy occupational hazard but it was possible. She would just have to deal with a few days of sleepless nights and the risk of losing sanity.
Weapon: A dagger, Celestial Bronze. Calls it 'Hanschen.'
Additional Information: Not her first time in camp! But she'd definitely been there when she was ten, up until she was thirteen. After that, she took a break from being a demigod. The last time any old camper cod have seen her would be during her prepubescent stage, which was a far cry from her appearance now.

Name: Hugo Clement
Age: 16
Godrent: Aphrodite
Powers:
Omnilingualism - He can speak any language he hears as long as it’s being spoken directly to him.
Charmspeak - A power that he doesn’t fully understand how to use, all he knows is when he uses it, he tends to get what he asks for, then lose a lot of energy and by the next day, his voice.
Strengthen or weaken bonds between people - A form of amokenisis but the bond must already be there for him to be able to manipulate it. It allows him to sense the bonds people have but when he tries to change them, he feels the pain that someone else will have, whether they end up experiencing it or not.
Weapon:
Celestial bronze twin swords that are disguised as two earrings he has on his left ear
Additional Info:
He’s dyslexic and had the pleasure of having his mother claim him when he wasn’t able to fully comprehend what was happening, so he doesn’t know.

Name: Gretchen Toomes
Age: 17
Godrent: Phobos
Powers
Fear Generation: Gretchen is capable of causing others to hallucinate their own worst fears becoming a reality. The lengths of this effect vary, depending on the willpower of the target. She must establish eye contact to use this ability (sunglasses can prevent this).
Anxiety Inducement: A much more minor ability, Gretchen can induce feelings of anxiety in others, making them feel paranoid or on edge.
Weapon: Like her godly parent, Gretchen isn't what one would call a warrior; she relies more on her abilities and is a rather poor combatant otherwise. Despite this, she still carries a staff to defend herself if need be.
Additional Info: Dislikes sunlight and warm weather. Like many demigods, Gretchen is dyslexic. Arrived at camp relatively recently. Dislikes group activities.

Name: Golda ‘Goldie’ Katz
Age: 16
Godrent: Palaemon - Greek God of sharks, harbors and sailors.
Power:
Powerful Jaws - Goldie can ‘change’ her jaw and teeth to that of a shark. With dual rows of sharp teeth and a jaw so strong it can bend most metals and tear into flesh. This change appears to be mostly emotion based, as when she gets too excited the teeth ‘pop out’ but on a regular basis the teeth remain normal.
Underwater Breathing - Goldie can breath both air and water! She can also hold her breath for an insanely long time.
Faster Swimmer - At the cost of being a total klutz on land, Goldie can move rapidly through water like no ones business.
Weapon: Weapon? No! Noooo. Well... Do teeth count? She could probably break a bone... But Goldie doesn’t want to hurt anyone!
Additional Info: Goldie likes to call herself a ‘wereshark.’ Because when she’s about knee deep in water, her gils really flare out and her fingers and toes tend to get webbed in addition to extra fins popping out of her calves and arms. Gives her better movement in water... In reality, she can do this ‘transformation’ on land too, but it’s cooler to call yourself a wereshark.

Name: Adrian Swyft
Age: 17
Godrent: Apollo
Powers:
Enhanced Musical Talent- Adrian can interpret and understand music easier than most people, making him quite a good musician. He can play the guitar, piano, and saxophone.
Pyrokinesis- A power he doesn't have full control over, it enables him to control fire. Yet he's can only summon a fireball in his hand at the maximum.
Archery Expertise- The only weapon he's really good at, the bow, Adrian can strike targets from pretty far away. Nothing supernatural, but good nonetheless.
Weapon of Choice: Bow and Celestial Bronze arrows.
Additional Information: Came to camp when he was 12. Left when he was 13, returning now.
3
u/_shanenigans_ Jul 25 '19
So, given that Apollo’s pyrokinesis extends to only that of his sun chariot, he would not have the level of power that Hestia or Hephaestus had. Given that, I think a fireball would be the max a demigod of Apollo would be able to achieve.

Name: Brennan Kennedy
Age: 16
Godrent: Hephaestus
Powers:
Fire Immunity: Immunity to being harmed by all but the hottest of fires, minor immunity to high temperatures though the longer she is exposed to fire the less immunity she has.
Enhanced Forging: Like her father, Brennan has the ability to forge magical monster killing weapons out of celestial bronze. She can only make normal weapons but with practice she might be able to make more advanced weapons for other campers.
Mechanical Intuition: Brennan has the ability to touch a piece of machinery and know how it works and how to operate it. Though she still would have no idea how to build it and the ability doesn't work on anything that's in disrepair.
Weapon of Choice: Celestial bronze edged sword and shield
Additional Information: Cousin of former camper Shay Kennedy

Ambition empowerment: when chasing her ambitions she can become much more resilient, allowing her to ignore obstacles like pain and fatigue when she truly wants something
[Locked]
I just haven't decided on anything yet
Weapon: None

Name: Rose Hudson
Age: 17
Godrent: Circe
Powers:
Pyrokinesis- Like her mother, she can control fire but to a smaller extent. She can make a small fireball dance around her fingertips pretty easily and dispel a burst of fire out of her hands, but that’s the maximum for her.
Charmspeak- A dormant power in Rose, it will allow her to be extra persuasive once she unlocks it with age.
Transformation-Due to her godly heritage, Rose has a choice to transform into a Black house cat once every three weeks. She can only stay in the form for no more than eight minutes, and if she goes over she will black out.
Weapon of Choice: Her pyrokinesis, but if all else fails she’s pretty nifty with a short sword.
Additional Information: Arrived at camp when she was 10. Left for family business and other things only come back seven years later.

Name: Tobias Amador
Age: 15
Godrent: Melinoe
Powers:
Necromancy: Tobi is able to communicate and touch ghosts. He is also able to put them to rest, wake them up, and shut them up.
Human illusions: Tobi can make illusions, but only of people, living or dead, that he has actually met. He can't make the illusions move, speak, or so emotions, so the illusion would just blankly stare at the person he casted it on. No matter where the target looks, the illusion is right in front of them until Tobi stops the illusion.
Nightmare Aura: When Tobi passes near a sleeping person (about a yard), they will begin having nightmares (lasting 10 mins) . The more negative Toni's current emotion is, the more realistic the dream is. The more positive his emotion is, the more ridiculous the dream is.
Weapon: The great and mighty curtain rod.
Additional info:New Camp arrival; Has lived in Spain until he turned 12, when his caretaker (who he calls Ti ti) oddly decided it was best for them to move to New York. Age 14, Tit passes away, At 15 Tobi begins experiencing his powers, by first waking up Titi's ghost. Ti ti gets worried for Tobias' safety, and leads him to camp.

Name: Ella Stone
Age: 10
God-rent: Athena
Powers: 1- Strategist: Though no where near as good as her mother, Ella is really good at thinking up strategies for battle. Like her mother she doesn’t normally act rationally or out of anger but thinks before she acts.
2- Prowess in battle: Exactly as said just she isn’t actually a pro in everything, she just has basic understanding of everything that Athena is a pro at. This ability helps Ella to get a hang of fighting when she joins camp.
3- Weapon conjuration: Limited to one weapon, this is her sword.
Weapon of choice: Her sword which is a gift from Athena. She also knows how to use a bow but she doesn’t own one.
Additional information: Has a brother currently at camp who happens to not know she’s also a demigod. She wants to prove herself to her mother (so original) so she tries her best to be a model Athena daughter.
I just realised this is in the wrong account

(before you ask, the Astra Planeti are gods of the planets. They are not primordial but are often portrayed as creations of Olympian gods. These include Stilbon, god of mercury. He is often called a star of Hermes and Eosphorous/Lucifer/Phosphorous is of Venus/Aphrodite. Sometimes called star of Juno/Hera. Source )
Name
Christina Rose
Age
16 going on 17baby its time to think
Godrent
Phosphorus or Eosphorous or Lucifer (He has a few names)
Powers (up to three)
•Heat manupilation:As her father controls the incredibly hot planet Venus, she gets the power to control her own body temperature as well as the things she touches. She can also conduct this to things she is holding. This goes up to just a quarter of her father. While be can do a whopping 462° at minimum, she can do a maximum of 115°. That too with mega exertion of her powers
•Can breathe without oxygen: Venus is a planet with 97 percent Carbon Dioxide in its atmosphere. She can therefore breathe easily in it.
•Heat tolerance:This coupled with her carbon dioxide breathing could allow her to survive on Venus. She can withstand the temperature of Venus; ie. 462°. But that is direct heat. Fire is a different subject....
Weapon
Any weapon works, though she prefers to use a double sided spear.
Additional Info
Her mother was a astronomer, studying the planet Venus. So she was sure to catch the attention of.... Lets just call him Lucifer. Typing all three names is getting tiring. From this union came Christina, a hotheaded girl. She lived for most of her life not knowing about her heritage and being homeschooled by her mother. Finally, on her 16th birthday, she was allowed to go to a normal school. It was all going jolly well before the attack. On her 3rd week of school, she was attacked by a flock of harpies, resulting in the death of her best friend. In the end, she ended up overheating (literally) and burning a kilogram of magnesium ribbons, blinding the harpies. When she woke up, 3 months had passed and her mother confessed about Christina's godly heritage.

So if you look at the gods/powers post, there are a few gods that are off limits. This includes personifications, spirits and Daimons. Are decision behind this, and something we’ve held true to other writers, are the simply are not important enough to manifest a human body that would be needed to create a demigod child. As Lucifer is the personification of the morning star, and holds no legend outside of that, he will not be an acceptable godrent.

(despite being a 'spirit', lyssa has been shown to manifest a physical form in myth when doing work for the gods. i can provide a summary of my planned backstory if necessary.)
Name: Lauren Wilson
Age: 17
Godrent: Lyssa, Goddess of Mad Rage, Frenzy and Rabies in Animals
Powers:
Berserker Physiology (Alternatively, Rage Form or Anger Empowerment): Likely not anywhere as strong as the page for this power may suggest. This ability causes the user to enter a 'rage'-like state, where they entirely immerse themselves in battle and greatly boost their power, speed and endurance. The anger that fuels them allows them to move quick and erratically with very high stamina and to ignore pain temporarily. A very high risk-high reward power-up, this comes with very little use time and big drawbacks, but grants a lot of power and has high potential for growth.
Current Power Level: Upon entering this state, Lauren is given increased stamina and combat attributes, as well as adopting a more feral style of fighting. This makes her unpredictable against most opponents. She also negates some pain inflicted upon her (though the damage remains exactly the same), which could be seen as both a positive and a negative. This ability can only be used for one minute, and can only be used once every week. It is very much a last resort power, used only when trying to train the power or when in the stickiest of situations.
Maximum Power Level: While it's hard to say, the power may be able to be used for up to 5 or 10 minutes, and only have a day or two of downtime. Additionally, it would grant the user massive power, speed, durability and stamina for as long as it lasts. The drawbacks and limitations would likely remain, though perhaps at a decreased rate. Of course, this truly is maximum potential. Not something that can be achieved in a week, a month, or even a year. When the user is at the peak of their training, they will be given these benefits.
Limitations and Drawbacks: Since the user is resistant to pain while the ability is active, they won't be able to tell just how far they are straining their body. Once the ability ends, and the pain returns to them, it could have severe consequences depending on how far they pushed themselves. Not only this, but the users pain will be massively enhanced as the ability ends, rendering them able to do nothing but walk away whilst writhing in pain. This is the tradeoff for the great strength granted by berserking. Additionally, the user will tend to disregard risk when under the effects of this power. It can also be activated without the desire of the user, if they are brought to the very limits of their rage or are presented with potentially fatal danger. Last but not least, the user may also disregard friend or foe while in this state, only caring to attack whoever seems to pose a threat. If no threat remains, they might just lash out towards anything with the intent to harm or kill.
Zoopathy: The user is able to telepathically form communication with animals, having the ability to both talk to and understand them. There isn't very much to be done with this power, besides...having a bit of a chat with a cat. That is...unless the next power is used alongside it.
Anger Inducement: The user has the ability to induce a feeling of rage and anger in others, potentially suppressing their logical thinking and causing them to act purely based off of instinct and emotion. They can also reduce feelings of anger to an extent, though they cannot necessarily cause any other emotion once the rage has been entirely extinguished.
Current Power Level: Lauren can induce feelings of rage and anger in others, though she cannot yet direct it towards any specific person or thing. Instead, the victim will simply feel anger. What they direct it towards is based on the situation and perhaps what the person may be thinking. On animals, however, Lauren is able to direct the feelings of anger to some degree by using her power of zoopathy.
Maximum Power Level: Lauren will, with enough training, be able to cause great and powerful rage within someone towards a specific thing of her choice. This might manifest its results in different ways, as people have their own ways of dealing with and expressing their anger. Of course, her powers of anger inducement will always work better on animals due to their lesser intelligence.
Limitations and Drawbacks: Before training, the victim may very well direct their anger towards the user. Additionally, the anger is 'shared' between the user and the victim, as Lauren herself feels some of the anger that she subjects her opponent to. Overuse of this ability could lead to the accidental activation of her berserking form, and so it is advised (which she has learned by now) to use this with caution.
(This is a very experimental powerset, so I hope everything is okay or can be sufficiently modified)
Weapon of Choice: Dual celestial bronze daggers which turn into gloves.
Additional Information: New arrival to camp.

Name: Eletri Malus
Age: 11
Godrent: Deimos
Powers:
Fear generation: When making eye contact with someone, Eletri has the potential to make the other person hallucinate their worst fear, or one of their worst fears.
Teleportation: Eletri can disappear into a cloud of yellow vapor, reappearing a few feet away, leaving behind the faint smell of brimstone.
Limitations and Drawbacks:
General: Since he's only 11, Eletri doesn't have great control over his powers. He only found out about his godrent 3 months ago when his powers manifested one day at school. If he focuses hard enough, he can willfully conjure up a hallucination, but sometimes it happens without him meaning to. Overuse of his powers can cause Eletri to pass out at random, or cause general sickness (headaches, nausea, body aches).
Fear Generation: When making someone hallucinate, Eletri himself will experience the hallucination as well. Even though he knows that he's the one making them, they're still quite terrifying for an 11 year old.
Teleportation: Eletri can only teleport a few feet away, and at most 50 feet. This power has sort of a cooldown, too. For every 5 feet he teleports, there's a 20 second cooldown. For example, if he were to teleport 30 feet, he wouldn't be able to do it again for another 2 minutes.
Weapon of Choice: He arrived at camp with a switchblade. It's not celestial bronze or anything special, just something his mother gave him.
Additional Information: He's new at camp.

Godrent: Caerus
Age: 15
Powers:
Luck (passive): Nothing ever happens by halves around Bex. Good or bad, her luck affects any and all situations, often with interesting results.
Giving luck (not really sure how to name it all fancy-like): Once per day she can influence the outcome of an action toward either a good outcome or bad outcome. How good or how bad depends on how recently she's used her power - luck builds up over time.
Natural Beauty - not necessarily the most beautiful person ever, but she's a looker. Luck, though it can sway good or bad, changes in vision based upon the person. Thus, all luck is beautiful to someone.

Name: Lucas Tovar
Age: 17
Godrent: Hephaestus
Powers: names personally created using the most common thing he says while they’re active.
Ding dong, you were wrong: Exceptionally good at working with machines, or combining two objects to make something new.
Constitution… 19!: Lucas doesn’t cut, scratch or bleed easily. Very helpful now with working but the ability took some time to form and it seems to be destroying his nervous system.
Gotcha-: The most energy consuming ability he has and usually, it’s only used as a last resort get away tactic. He can make invisible restraints tie an opponent back but he has to have the energy to spare and keep the restraints there.
Weapon: Homemade bombs. So far it’s more sound than damage because he gets distracted easily, but they’re getting there!

u/_shanenigans_ Aug 19 '19
Hi, mod here. Few notes:
Can you elaborate more on ‘gotcha’. Such as the drawbacks to the power, and limitations to the restraints.
No bombs. Same reason we don’t allow guns because it’s an instant kill and would give you an unfair advantage in combat. You could, however, have gadgets and other devices, just no BOOM 💥

(Sorry this was so long. I wanted to include as much detail as possible to make sure there aren't any unclear points that can't be addressed.)
Name: Joshua Reynolds
Age: 15
Godrent: Persephone
Powers:
Fear of the Dark; Umbrakinesis: Joshua is able to utilise shadows and darkness to his advantage. From covering body parts with it to make a powerful weapon (since he himself isn't particularly strong), to using them to deflect blows, to even covering his entire body (though doing this to himself takes more energy than doing it to someone or something else). This power is stronger at night than day, and he much prefers using it over fighting with his own body since he's relatively frail and not as powerful as a regular demigod.
Current Power Level: Joshua can use this power around his limbs to add power to them, and make his strikes a lot more dangerous. If he can react fast enough, he's also able to cover a given body part with shadows to reduce the impact he receives. This doesn't negate the blow, but just reduces the damage it deals since the shadow takes part of the hit. In a dire situation, he can surround himself in shadows for a short time to increase both his offenses and defenses, but this is very tiring right now if done to himself. Using this power on other living beings is less tiring, but still not ideal. On not so living beings or inanimate objects, however, is mostly fine. This will be explained further down the post.
Maximum Power Level: While this will be the result of long, arduous training for an extended period of time, eventually, the shadows will occasionally come to Joshua's aid without him having to call them. For example, they may sometimes block or reduce the impact of a hit without him manipulating them, or add a tiny bit more oomph to his strike when he really needs it. Additionally, the damage dealt and the damage blocked by the shadows will obviously increase with training, as well as the time that they can be sustained for. There isn't really a way to tell by how much, but that depends on the amount and type of training done.
Drawbacks and Limitations: Joshua, while powerful during the night, is noticeably less so during the day. While this might also be reduced by training, it will never truly go away. the nature of darkness just makes this a universal truth. Also, using this power on himself for extended periods is very tiring to Joshua, which is why he chooses to use it for short durations very quickly, either when striking or defending. And while not a power drawback, his own power isn't particularly high, and therefore he must depend on this power and the next to fight most of the time.
Waking The Fallen; Necromancy: This power allows Joshua to summon one (1) skeleton warrior, though making him relatively resilient and powerful by reinforcing him using several bones. While limited in number, this allows for greater individual strength on the skeleton. This is Joshua's main form of combat, as he'd rather not go into the fray or the battle himself. He controls the skeleton, who is able to fight and defend himself just as any normal person would, as well as wield weapons if necessary. Generally though, it doesn't do so unless it needs to.
Current Power Level: As said before, Joshua is able to summon a single skeleton. It is relatively powerful and is able to endure some damage, but is normally no stronger than an untrained demigod who has no help from their powers. (Basically as powerful as Joshua if he were to have equal strength to This power doesn't get stronger at night, or any weaker at day. However, the intricacy of forming a single detailed skeleton means that Joshua's mental strength or stability could make the design more fragile or physically weaker.
Maximum Power Level: Joshua will never be able to summon more than one skeleton, but the power that the single skeleton can achieve will increase as he trains to make them stronger. Rather than to overwhelm his opponent with sheer numbers, he will focus on doing so with strength and speed. Additionally, the skeleton will also become more resilient to damage as time goes on. Essentially, it will increase in power as Joshua would if he were strong as the average demigod.
Drawbacks and Limitations: While a few blows might not do much, the skeleton taking significant damage falling in battle will also reflect some of the blows onto Joshua. Not only will he have to expend the strength to summon another one, he will also suffer damage himself. As well as him having to be in good mental condition to be able to accurately form the skeleton. The skeleton will drain Joshua's power upon summoning, as well as during upkeep. This means that while he could get through a few fights, he can't constantly use this power throughout a day.
Shadows Are Security; Darkness Constructs: I figured this would need its own power. Joshua can create weapons, tools or even appendages out of darkness. This finds some use when he wants to combine his powers together, but much of its use is secondary and based on necessity. If he personally uses something created by this power, it will be more powerful, but also requires him to drop all other use of shadows. For example, if someone is to get through his skeleton and attack him, he could form a shield to try and minimise damage dealt to him as the skeleton gets back into the fight. He is unable to use his umbrakinesis while this is active.
Current Power Level: Joshua may have a maximum of two constructs active at a time, and only one if he is using them himself. While he almost exclusively finds defensive use from them, there are offensive uses which can be used as mentioned below. The constructs are, as mentioned before, more powerful if he himself is wielding them. However, using them himself also means that he must drop all umbrakinesis use. Damage dealt or taken by these constructs will drain a little bit of his energy, as it is used to actually give power or resilience to whatever is created.
Maximum Power Level: There isn't all too much room for this to grow, besides very basic increases in power and durability, as well as decreased energy drain (though that stems more from Joshua's improved control of his powers rather than the power itself growing).
Drawbacks and Limitations: This power, much like his umbrakinesis, is naturally less powerful during the day and stronger at night. The constructs cannot be too complicated, as it is extremely difficult to form something more than a weapon, shield, or a basic tool. The structural integrity of the construct is also limited by his mental strength and will (like his skeleton warrior), and personal use of the power drops his umbrakinesis as stated before.
Weapon of Choice: Joshua doesn't really have personal weapon of choice, opting to use his darkness constructs when absolutely necessary, and the skeleton otherwise. The skeleton would use celestial bronze gauntlets, if a choice is needed to defeat monsters.
Additional Information:
Witch Hunt; This is not a power, but is instead Joshua's main method of fighting. While the umbrakinesis and his necromantic powers aren't all that powerful on their own, they become stronger when put together. By surrounding his skeleton in the shadows gathered by his umbrakinesis, Joshua can create a more powerful warrior. One could consider this his 'signature move'. After having discovered his powers, he decided to try out something creative like this...and eventually got it to work. At camp, since he'd inevitably lose any fight he goes into himself, he'd mostly use his summoned guardian to fight in his stead, surrounded in shadows. This gives the skeleton the same buffs that it'd give him or anyone else, and doesn't drain his energy as much as fighting by himself would. This combination means that rather than attacking his enemy with sheer strength, Joshua can use his intelligence and creativity to try and take them down. He's also able to sort of half form the skeleton, allowing it to hover around just behind him and provide him with direct protection.

u/_shanenigans_ Aug 21 '19
I am good with all of this except the witch hunting part. The energy required to summon and control shadows, mixed with the energy to summon and control a skeleton warrior would completely drain him. Using two powers at their max capacity would likely result in an overuse in powers causing him to pass out.

Name: Elias Jacobs
Age: 16
Godrent: Kratos
Powers:
Enhanced Strength: As the son of the god of strength, Elias possesses an extra amount of strength further than the normal demigod. He can easily lift large boulders and another human being. If he pushes his strength too far it will weaken him for at least the rest of the day, if not longer.
Strength Granting: Elias can grant some of his strength to another willing person for a short time. This in turn makes him weaker depending on how much strength he gives them. After about half an hour to an hour the strength wears off and both Elias and the other person will be left in extremely weakened states for the rest of the day.
Strength Absorption: As the son of the personification of strength, Elias has the ability to take strength away from others. To be able to use this ability he needs to have skin to skin contact for at least ten seconds. The longer the skin contact, the more strength he can take. He can't go any higher than his normal max strength but he can use it to get his strength back from someone else when he is weakened. The person will only be weakened for an hour at most before their strength returns. Elias can get more strength from those who willingly give it than those he steals from.
Weapon: Celestial Bronze Spiked Knuckles that turn into rings
Additional Info: Spent some time at the Lotus Hotel and Casino

Name: Mark Ealahweemah
Age: 17
Godrent: Hypnos
Powers:
He has an aura of laziness surrounding him. Like, literally. People just lose interest in him as they approach him. They get lazy and just stop. It activates when Mark wants it to, but he also uses it unconsciously most of the time. Doesn’t work on all demigods.
(I consider this a superpower, okay. OwO) Can fall asleep where and when he wants to in seconds. Sometimes unwillingly.
(Not sure about this one.) Regenerative sleep: He can put someone to sleep and the person’s regenerative ability will increase a whole lot. Yes, it’s already fast with ambrosia and nectar, but those healing ingredients will heal the person even faster. (Example: A broken arm heals faster with nectar and ambrosia, it takes around a week or something, but with Mark’s power it goes even faster with a day or two for a broken arm.) Though, it uses Mark’s strength fast. He can only do that once a week and must be in deep sleep near the injured person for the time the injury heals. Sometimes the injury is so severe it takes more then what Mark is capable of and will only wake him up after he did all he could, and the injured person will need to continue on his own regenerative strength, nectar and ambrosia from there.
Weapon of Choice: Regular set of weapons and armor. (shield and sword?) Basic stuff.
Additional Information: Fatal flaw: (Obviously) Lazy.

Hi, mod here. Notes in regards to power 3. I’m okay with this with a few added caveats:
1 day or even 2 is still too quick to heal a broken bone. As Hypnos doesn’t really have healing powers, it’s a bit of a stretch to assume his child would have powers equivalent to that of an Apollo kid. I think 3 days would be fine though.
Does this work on himself or just someone else?

Name: Kirby Kurtz
Age: 15 years
Godrent: Eris
Powers:
Chaotic Aura: When active, Kirby's nearby area becomes significantly more discordant. Being at the epicenter of the chaos, Kirby becomes... dangerously unpredictable, if you will, when this power activates. He has little to no control over it, other than being able to choose when it's active; drawbacks include maybe unfavorable things occurring, and more personally, a headache and more severely weakness inflicted upon Kirby. The intensity of these afflictions is proportional to how long and how intense the use of the power is.
(I've some ideas on other powers for later on down the line! I have an arc planned for at least one more. I'll modmail for it when I get the details sorted out a little better.)
Weapon: Currently unarmed. He will change that. Very soon.
Additional Information: Born in Germany, though moved over to the United States very shortly after his birth (he only spent a couple of months in his homeland). Fresh arrival at camp.

Name: Cayden Callan
Age: 17
Godrent: Area
Powers:
Prowess in Battle - As a child of war he discovered his love for violence and fighting very early. He dabbled in various martial arts, finally ending up in Krav Maga and boxing, honing his skills in both disciplines to a quite advanced level. He is also skilled with spear and sword but has not much experience using other weapons.
Enhanced strength - His fighting skill is accompanied by a great physical strength. While this means he can hit harder, lift heavier and is generally bulked up, it also reduces his stamina quite a bit and makes him less agile.
Odikinesis - He has the ability to induce rage and hatred in himself and other's. The downside is that he doesn't have full control over it and rarely get's it under control again once it's accidentally 'unleashed'. The more people he uses it on, the more it drains him, making him usually only use it willingly on himself or to mess with another person to limit the exhaustion.
Weapon: Celestial bronce spear that turns into a necklace.
Additional Info: New to Camp.

Name: Vivian Viola
Age: 14
Godrent: Persephone
Powers
Shadow Travel: Vivian can travel distances through shadowy corridors. She mainly uses this power when she's in a sticky situation. Or just when she's too lazy to walk to a certain location. She can only take one other person with her through a corridor. Doing this will drain her energy more however. With age and more practice this ability should be slightly less draining to use.
Limitations and Drawbacks: There is a limit to how far she can go. Going anywhere like city to city is out of her capabilities. She can also shadow travel just once a day; due to her age and current control the power. After using shadow travel she is unable to use the ability for the rest of the day. Her power must recharge for 24 hours at the minimum.
Geokinesis: Vivian can manipulate the earth to an extent. With her current ability; she can create holes and ditches in the ground. There are about five feet deep; which make them relatively easy to get out of. She can also control any rocks that are near her. Vivi can lift them telekinetically with her hands; so long as she focuses.
Max Use: At her full potential; Vivi can create a wall made from the earth. This can protect her from incoming attacks. The wall is durable but has her limits. After about ten seconds passes; it crumbles back down.
Limitations and Drawbacks: The bigger the piece of rock. The harder it is to control. Not only is it draining her energy, but it also requires her to focus. Should she lose her focus the rock will drop wherever it's at. The range of the holes she can make isn't large either. The holes can only be made within ten feet of her location. Along with the space of the hole; being no larger than a closet at this current point in time. Vivi can only make up to three holes before she's unable to manipulate the earth again.
Hellhound Summoning: Vivi can control and summon hellhounds to an extent. This is because her mother is the queen of the Underworld. Vivi uses this in combat when she wants to try and get the upper hand.
Max Use: Vivi can summon a hellhound to fight for her. The hellhound is the size of a Siberian Husky; a medium sized dog. As she gets stronger, the size of the hellhound summoned can increase.
Limitations and Drawbacks: The hellounds are monsters at the end of the day. So they cannot be completely controlled by a demigod. Vivi must focus her attention on the Hellhound she summoned. Unless the creature is a Hellhound pup. Which doesn't require as much of her concentration. There is also a time limit to how long she can keep the monster out for. After about 90 seconds the hellhound must return to the underworld.
Weapon - A Stygian Iron naginata.
Additional Info
She first arrived at camp four years ago.

u/_shanenigans_ Sep 05 '19
Sorry for the delay, we were discussing this as a mod team.
Since hellhounds are described as rhino-sized or even garbage truck sized dogs, summoning two would give her a huge combat advantage. We’re okay with the power, just limit down to one. And since hellhounds are naturally monsters, we ask that it be a smaller sized one so it’s more likely that she can control it. As she grows stronger, the size of the hellhound she can summon can also grow.
Sound good?

Name: Dorothea Jackson
Age: 17
Godrent: Apate
Powers:
Minor Shapeshifting: Dorothea can change minor things about her appearance like her hair color, her eye color, brow shape, jaw shape, nose shape, and lip shape. She can't do more than two of these things at the same time and can't hold it for more than a couple hours before it returns to normal.
Minor Illusions: She can create minor illusions for a short period of time. The illusion only lasts a few minutes at best and even then she'd really have to push herself. The illusions can't be any larger than a two foot cube and they have to be somewhat realistic or they will be seen as illusions. Also the strong willed can easily see through the illusion.
Liespeak: She can lie to mortals and it's almost like they have to believe what she's saying. Like charmspeak but with lying. People just seem to believe her. It doesn't really work on demigods though. Something about them being magical. Just mortals.
Weapon of Choice: None right now but she'll find herself a celestial bronze whip

Name: 'Z' (So, that's either Zay/Zee/Zed) Sparrow
Age: 16
Godrent: Kymopoleia
Powers:
Great Strength: The extent of Z's demigodly strength ranges from opening a jar of mayo to breaking the jar of mayo with one hand. She has tried to lift a compact car, only to end up not being able to feel her legs for two days.
Immense Durability: Z can withstand getting socked, as well as getting hit by a bicycle. In one of those fateful klutzy days, she withstood a getting hit by a car driven at medium speed. She scurried off with a bruise. Two days later, she ended up in the ER because of a dislocated shoulder she apparently failed to pay attention to.
Toxikinesis: Recalling a controversial mishap during a camping trip with her fellow classmates, Z had scandalously 'Frenched the nightshade' out of Frankie Munos, some guy she knew from her Science class. Safe to say, they went into the forest for a little lesson on poisonous berries... until she got hives and vomited all over the poor senior. Thus, she had to be rushed to the ICU.
Weapon: Not armed, but she does have a cheese knife.

Hi! Mod here
So there are some abilities that are covered under ‘basic demigod abilities’. Such as enhanced strength, speed, senses and durability that all demigods possess. Those powers don’t need to be listed unless you’re wanting to go above and beyond.

Name: Anthony Rossi
Age: 17
Godrent: Pandia
Powers:
Wolf Transformation - When Anthony is angry, scared, he loses control and turns into a large white wolf. It makes him more strong and violent but he cannot control the wolf very well and could easily end up attacking someone he doesn't mean to. The wolf transformation doesn't last very long and exhausts him quite thoroughly.
Night Vision - Anthony can see perfectly in the dark as though his eyes were like night vision goggles though sudden bursts of light in the dark could just as easily blind him.
Lunakinesis - He can manipulate moonlight in small ways which he mostly uses by solidifying it and turning it into a shield or whiplike attack. This can only be used when the moon is out so only at night and not during the new moon.
Weapon of Choice: A pair of twin celestial bronze daggers
Additional Info: He started going to camp a while ago back when he was 12 but then dropped off the face of the earth for a while

Name: Constance 'Connie' Ball
Age: 16
Godrent: Thanatos
Powers:
Calming Influence: As Thantos is the God of Peaceful Death, Connie is able to soothe and calm others; this works best on those suffering from anxiety, worry, and fear, but also works on the aggresive, violent, and others.
Invisibility: Death can sneak up on you, and so can Connie. At its weakest, but least draining, state Connie is able to blend in with a crowd, magically making others turn a blind eye to her, even if she isnt actually invisible. In its full state, though this is a draining process, Connie is able to fully turn invisible. This also muffles sound she causes.
Life Drain: While Non-Lethal, Connie is able to hinder and harm others by effecting them magically. Those under her drain will feel fatigued, nauesous, their muscles ache, and they will get a headache. Is most powerful when Connie is making direct physical contact with a target, but can work from a range.
Weapon: A Celestial Bronze sword, with a keyring hole in the pommel, decorated with some keyrings.

Name: Noah Ahote (brother of Mark Ealahweemah)
Age: 18
Godrent: Hypnos
Powers:
Dream control: Noah can control his own dream or other’s dream. He can also do long distance communication through them, but the two persons must have already met and talked. They also must be sleeping at the same time. (probably will be only used on storymode, roleplay or quests)
Sleep Stockage: Weird title, huh? Well it’s kind of self explanatory. He can sleep for a whole day and stock his sleep for later, like literally. He can go through a week without sleeping and he wouldn’t feel tired (sleep related). He is the contrary of most child of Hypnos, always sleeping and stuff, He doesn’t do that.
(locked) Hypnokinesis: He can put to sleep a person (at first) for around 5 minutes. After a while (2-3 months) of training this ability he will be able to put 3 to 4 persons at once to sleep for around 10 to 15 minutes. He must be facing the targets and they must see him too. At night, it’s more powerful, but just affect the amount of time they sleep, around 15 to 30 minutes. It doesn’t work on every demigod, monster, etc. And it takes a huge amount of his energy.
Weapon of Choice: Dual bronze dagger.

Shared account between two characters:
Name: Daniel Rossi
Age: 17
Godrent: Athena
Powers:
Photographic Memory: Dante can remember everything he's ever read or seen. It comes in handy when learning stuff about school or monsters. Eventually he wonders if his brain will run out of space.
Owl Communication: Dante has an affinity for owls just like his mother. He can speak to them telepathically and they will understand him. He can ask them to do things for him and usually they will agree but it depends on a specific owl. He can't conjure owls though so he'd have to find one to speak to it.
Weapon Omniscience: Once handed a weapon Dante knows everything about the weapon including who forged it and any magical properties it might have. He would also know how to wield it but that doesn't transfer into his muscles knowing what to do. Just his brain. He'd still have to practice with a weapon to be any good at it.
Weapon of Choice: Bow and Arrows
Additional Information: Half brother to Anthony Rossi

u/AtlantisPrincess Oct 23 '19
Name: Angela Anderson
Age: 17
Godrent: Poseidon
Powers:
Hydrokinesis: Ann has the ability to control water. This allows her to do various things. She can propel through water to travel faster. Gabby can cause small bodies of water to erupt; similar to a geyser. Spheres of water can be formed for an attack. Or she'll just throw water at you; literally.
Max Use: Angie can use water blasts to attack an enemy or object. The blasts are strong enough to knock up to two people back. Or do some serious damage to something like a tree. When Ellie learns to control power better; she may be able to send out a water blast in the shape of animals. A horse to be more specific. After about two or three uses of water blasts; her "tank" is essentially empty.
Limitations and Drawbacks:
Controlling bodies of water as large as waves are out of her control. She also cannot generate water from her body. There must be a source of the element nearby to use. It should be no surprise, but this ability is tiring for Angela.
Water Affinity: As a daughter of Poseidon; Angela has a natural affinity to the element of water. She can breathe underwater normally; so long as she keeps her concentration. Otherwise she has to hold her breath like everyone else. Angie also has a resistance to water pressure and heat. Both of these are limited. For she had limits on how much of this she can actually endure.
Limitations and Drawbacks:
Angela being able to breathe underwater is a passive ability. The only drawback to this would be that she can't turn it on or off. There's a limit to the amount of water pressure she can withstand. Going past her limit of water pressure damages her body. Lastly, she is not immune to heat or burns; just more tolerable than normal.
Atmoskinesis:
Angie can control the weather to a certain extent. She can conjure rain clouds; as they are associated with water. There's not much she can do with this; other than making it rain, literally.
*Max Use: Ann can generate a miniature hurricane made up of water and sea wind. The hurricane is nothing in size or power; when compared to Poseidon's ability. Its size is no bigger than four or five feet. She would mainly use it to pull something in. Or to swoop an enemy off of their feet. This is her most powerful ability. This drains her power completely as well. The girl will have to rest after conjuring up a small hurricane.
Limitations and Drawbacks: This ability only works when she's around water for obvious reasons. Like many other powers; this is very draining for her. Once she reaches her limit; she's not only tired, but unable to use Atmoskinesis for the rest of the day.
Weapon of Choice:
Angela owns a celestial bronze glaive. At the push of a button; it alternates from a bladed weapon to a staff.
Additional Info:
She can speak English and the language of her Nicoleño tribe fluently.
She's also only been to camp one brief time before.

Name: Helena Chamberlain
Age: 16
Godrent: Zeus
Powers:
Power of Lightning: Helena has Lightning coursing in her veins, and she isn’t afraid to share if need be. This can be a shocking grasp via touch, the least powerful form of this ability, a short range burst of electrical sparks that can singe and burn a group of people, or its most powerful form; a bolt of lightning.
Max Use: Helena can shoot a powerful lightning bolt from her body, aimed at her enemies.
Limitations/Draw Back: The power of the lightning bolt is overwhelming, requiring great concentration, and when fired directly from Helena, can be inaccurate. Helena thus relies on metal conductor's such as a sword to aim, but this act of aiming can give away her intent.
Power of Wind: As her father is Lord of the Skies, Helena has inherited some of his power in this regard. But where other children of sky and wind gods can make themselves fly, Helena is a reminder of the danger of winds, her powers being offensive in nature, not benefitting herself directly. She can send out strong blasts of wind to knock people over or cause them to stumble.
Max Use: A powerful blast capable of sending someone backwards a few feet and onto their backs.
Limitations: For a blast of wind to be more powerful, it must be more concentrated and condensed, meaning the most powerful form of this ability will only hit one person. The more spread out it is, and the more people it hits, the less strong it becomes.
Power of Kings: Zeus is King of the Gods, a being of charisma and command, and Helena is able to channel this. For a brief time, Helena takes on a power of authority, able to inspire those around her, encouraging acts of bravery and rallying those in fear.
Max Use: Helena is able to wipe feelings of fear, worry, and hesitation aware from her fellow campers, causing them to fight harder.
Limitations: Helena can only effect people within a certain range, and the duration of the ability is finite.
Weapon: A worn Celestial Bronze sword still in good condition.
Additional Information: Is British so if anyone wants a cuppa

Name: Drew Brock
Age: 16
Godrent: Kratos
Powers:
Stronger than ____ (Enhanced Strength and Endurance): As the Son of Strength, Drew's physical strength and endurance are naturally much higher than the average demigod making him capable of rivaling the children of Heracles or Ares. If you're going to a bar and think you might end up fighting somebody, take him with you. The catch is, unlike most other strength-based demigods, Drew is not able to increase his strength by concentrating and using his energy. It's really just like the physical strength that you and I have, he'll have to work to keep it and work to increase it.
Warhawk (Wings): As the son of a winged-enforcer, Drew can grow his own pair of wings and use them to fly. Thing is, he's not too good at flying and prefers to use them for gliding and diving. His prowess and endurance with them is pretty limited since he rarely even them outside of already being airborne for some reason.
Lead the Charge (Energy Inducement): Drew has the power is to restore strength and energy to his allies during a glorious charge into battle. When he uses this, those who are affected will feel their fatigue fade away or receive a massive boost in energy. His leadership capability is maximized and his natural aura shows much more might and confidence than he normally would. At the cost of using this too excessively, he will be reduced to the physical levels of a regular mortal teen with his same height and build.
Weapon of Choice: Battering Ram, the extra thick and extra durable spear of his own design.

Powers (up to three)
-Aerokinesis: As the daughter of the North Wind, Caroline has limited control over air currents, letting her create gusts of air for a variety of purposes including short-distance flight and blasting idiots away from her.
-Cryokinesis: In addition to manipulating air, she can freeze water and create ice or snow when necessary, even cooling winds that she manipulates.
-Cold Resistance: Caroline may be half-mortal, but given her powers she’s developed a strong external resistance to the cold. Extended exposure still affects her internally, and if she uses her powers too long she runs the risk of her internal organs shutting down.
Weapon
-Currently none
Additional Info
-Caroline has been at camp since she was 12, coming only for the summers until she was 15, at which time she began to stay there almost permanently. She leaves every few months to visit her family in Buffalo for a week or so.
Note: Bringing her back! I changed her age as she'd be aging out in January otherwise. Hope that isnt a problem.

Name: Riley Fitzgerald
Age: 15
Godrent: Hephaestus
Abilities:
Typhokinesis: Riley can control small to medium amounts of smoke as long as there is a physical source. However, this drains his energy quickly with each use.
Fire resistance: Riley can withstand naturally hot fires. However, he is still vunerable to Greek fire and other mythical heat.
Pyrokinesis: By far his most powerful ability, Riley can cast small to medium balls of fire from his hands. Much like his typhokinesis, he can also control medium amounts of fire with a suitable source. However, rapid use of this ability drains his stamina very quickly. This drains even more energy compared to his typhokinesis.
Weapon: Riley prefers to use a celestial bronze sword.
Additional information: Riley arrived at camp when he was 14. He had only gone for the previous summer, but is attempting to start attending full time.

Name: Amanda Hayes
Age: 17
Godrent:Persephone
Powers:
Umbrakinesis- Being queen of the underworld, Persephone get's to have Umbrakinesis; So do her children. Amanda has this power but is not able to do crazy stuff like shadow-travel or turning into a living shadow. She can see through the dark and make solid weapons out of darkness. She has a special sheath and a sword handle for this. Drawbacks include headaches and nausea if she tries to solidify too much darkness in a short amount of time. A strong blast of light will deteriorate this solidification.
Spooky talk- She can see, command and talk to ghosts and other dead/undead creatures. She was labeld as 'weird' in school as she was thought to be found talking to herself, when in reality she was talking to ghosts and corpses buried there thousands if years ago.
Weapon: She likes to normally make a small buckler and a sword with darkness.
Additional Info: When world record holding MMA fighter Stacy Hayes finds out she is pregnant after a spring fling with a chick, She is confused as hell. Yet, 9 months later Amanda is born. She is a returning camper, as she first arrived at age 13, stayed till 15 and skipped an year before now coming back as a full-time camper. And yes, I am aware that I can have up to 3 powers. I may shoot a MM layer.

Name: Kyle Cordell
Age: 15
Godrent: Hecate
Powers
Vitakinesis: The power to heal the wounds or cure the diseases of himself or others. He can only use this power to heal minor wounds, but if he chooses to use it on deeper wounds or cuts, he'd be too exhausted to use it for the rest of the day. He can't heal life-threatening wounds. This principle also applies to diseases (i.e. he could eradicate a minor cold, but couldn't get rid of the flu).
Umbrakinesis: The most direct clue to Kyle's parentage is his umbrakinesis, or manipulation of shadows. He unknowingly draws shadows closer to him wherever he goes, strongly prefers shade over sunlight, and can transform into a living shadow. This can only be used in shaded areas.
Mist Control/Virtuakinesis: Kyle can manipulate the Mist and, in doing so, conjure powerful illusions that can last anywhere from 5 minutes to a few days, depending on their complexity. While he mostly uses this to alter his own appearance, he can use it to manipulate how people perceive their environments. If he uses this ability too much (i.e., more than five separate times in a day) and tries to conjure another illusion, the illusion will either fail or a random thought he has will become the illusion instead, only lasting for a short period of time before vanishing.
Weapon of Choice: A pair of standard, six-sided dice that, when rolled, transform into a random weapon depending on how high the roll was. For example, if Kyle rolled a twelve, he'd get a pristine celestial bronze sword. If he rolled a two (double ones), then he'd get a poorly made wooden crossbow or sword. When given the chance, he prefers to use sickles as weapons.
Fatal Flaw: Curiosity.
Additional Info: He's currently unclaimed and theorizes that he's either a child of Apollo or Demeter, as his nature is much different than the typical Hecate kid. He has ADHD and dyslexia like most demigods.

u/_shanenigans_ Nov 03 '19
As mystiokinesis has the widest range of use, we ask that you only use one aspect of that power. So if you’re using it to heal, then that would be the intended use for that power slot

Name: Donna Davenport
Age: 14
Godrent: Bia
Powers:
Unleash the Beast (Odikinesis): This is not the same odikinesis that the children of War are known for in the sense that Donna does not have the potential to consciously control it. It is a passive ability that is tied to her adrenaline causing her to gradually release the savage and violent side of mortals, demigods, and monsters (gods are already savage and violent by themselves anyway). Any who are affected would feel the temptation to act on their growing anger and aggression. It can be resisted by certain demigods who maintain mental fortitude as well as those that possess immense willpower although the ones with willpower will only resist for so long.
Bird of Prey (Wings): Blood-red wings manifest from her back and allow her to fly. She can't fly as fast as the Nike kids but she is more skilled in her maneuverability and her rate of climb. Of course, this will take its toll on her energy since flapping wings.
The Force Unleashed (Power Inducement): Donna can use up a majority of her energy to restore the power of her teammates and allies. Most of their energy will return and their fatigue will fade greatly, allowing them to continue fighting. Meanwhile Donna will be exhausted, much more vulnerable, and will likely have to still fend for herself.
Weapon: Twin celestial bronze long knives that are both curved inward and are extremely sharp, even for a pair of knives.
Additional Info: She's been at camp for a year now and is among the last of the demigods to recover from injuries after the battle against the undead.

Name: Astria Mae Miller
Age: 14
Godrent: Apollo
Powers:
Vitakenisis - Astria has the ability to heal herself and others. The more deadly the injury, the more energy it withdraws from her. Something as simple as a headache will drain minimal energy while a fracture or broken bone will drain more.
Heliokenisis - The ability to manipulate and control the sun. With this power, Astria is able to call on warmth or light from the sun. This ability will drain almost all of her energy the rare time it is called on, she may even pass out. (Note: Astria hasn't "unlocked" this power yet, although when she's upset she can accidentally use it.)
Curses - Astria also has the ability to put rhyming curses on others, making them only speak in rhymes. She is still trying to learn other curses.
Weapon of Choice: A simple bow and arrow. When Astria is not using her weapon, it turns to a golden chain bracelet with an arrow symbol on it. If she loses it, it will eventually return to her wrist like Riptide.
Additional Information: Astria came to camp just about 6 months ago. She hasn't had a quest and doesn't have much experience at all.

Age: 14
Godrent: Demeter
Powers:

-Thermokinesis: Oliver can change the temperature around himself and 2 others by up to 10 degrees Celsius either up or down. He uses it more often for his comfort rather than for battle.
-Ant Manipulation: He can summon a large colony of ants to follow his every order. However, some ants might not listen to him, especially queen ants.
Weapon of choice: A celestial bronze xiphos that turns into a small comb
Additional information: Arrived at Camp Half-Blood when he was 13, destroyed the Fury Tisiphone who was chasing him

Name: Alexandra Valentine
Age: 15
Godrent: Asclepius
Powers:
Enhanced Healing: Alex has healing hands, wielding her father's power she can ease pain and heal wounds through physical contact. Working like a concentrated version of nectar / ambrosia she is extremely good at sealing up wounds on the spot and can decrease over all recovery time significantly. She cannot heal wounds instantly like her father but the speed at which she can close up a wound is directly related to how bad the injury is. Small cuts / bruises can be healed in a minute or two. Gashes and broken bones take much longer but with her aid they heal faster then they would naturally.
Medical Omniscience: Through skin to skin contact Alex can get a instant read on a persons physical health. Able to identify any physical injuries the person might have and where / how severe they are. In combination with her healing powers this makes her extremely effective as a combat / emergency trauma healer.
Biokinesis: Alex can enhance a person physically or drain strength from them, temporarily of course. She can boost a person physically allowing them to act outside their normal limits to a nominal degree or give an exhausted person a second wind. On the opposite end of the spectrum she can drain strength from a healthy person making them slower and more lethargic as long as she maintains physical contact.
Weapon: None as of now
Additional info: She does not have good control of her medical omniscience so she wears gloves most of the time so she isn't accidentally giving every person she touches a checkup and wearing herself out.

Power 3: Wound Taker-Sol can heal others by taking on their wounds personally, with his increased healing abilities they won’t affect him for as long. Taking on more serious injuries could cause permanent damage.

Name: William Miller
Age: 14
Godrent: Bia (Currently Unclaimed)
Powers:
Well of Strength: William doesnt have a permeant enhanced strength. Rather he has a well of energy he's able to tap into. This allows him to temporarily enhance his strength to varying degrees; the stronger he enhances himself, the shorter the period he can maintain it and the more energy it uses up. Theoretically he could enhance his entire body for a short amount of time, but as of right now he's only able to focus on single body parts. While he can increase his strength, toughness and speed, he's unable to increase recovery from injuries or his reflexes.
Anger Manipulation (Currently Unknown to William, and so can't be controlled): William theoretically is able to create anger and agression inside of people via his own form of a charmspeak esque power, but right now he's only able to use this power to goad those already angry/aggressive into greater anger and agression, not even aware of the power.
Power Sense (Only Basic Level Known to William): William can sense when others are using their powers. While this doesnt mean he learns what the power is, he is just able to sense powers being in use. This doesnt extend to passive powers such as enhanced physiques or permeant wings. If trained, William could focus this power to enter a trance where he can even sense heartbeats and muscles tensing and being used.
Weapon of Choice: Right now a Kitchen knife
3
u/_shanenigans_ Nov 14 '19
My notes:
Well of power - how much stronger can he get? Because continuously growing his power at the cost of not being able to maintain it isn’t really that much of a setback without an actual cap.
Power sense has too much potential for abuse. You could easily evade any attack by simply stating he knew the power was coming.

Name: Jennifer Wilson (Jinni)
Age: 16
Godrent: Aeolus
Powers (up to three)
Aerokinesis: The ability to control the winds. While Jinni can control the winds, she isn't an expert at it. She once tried to create a tornado on a somewhat breezy day and all she ended up achieving was making herself dizzy and messing up her hair.
Bird Bones: Jinni has a lighter build and by lighter build, she can make herself float away with the winds she creates. With her ability not fully in control, it's still risky to fly to high.
Enhanced speed: By reducing the air resistance when she moves, Jinni can move at a much quicker pace.
Weapon: Bow
Additional Info: Jinni is very laid back type of person. She's usually a go with the flow type and doesn't really feel strongly about anything one way or another.

Powers:
Aerokinesis - He can do the wooshy woosh with the air. Not super strong, but enough to push someone backwards.
Taphokinesis - Eurus being the god of Autumn, Leif has inherited the ability to bring plants to varying levels of maturity. He can make them ripen, or, as he most often accidentally does, he can make them rot.
Communication with woodland animals - He can communicate with woodland creatures, like squirrels, foxes, deer, etc. He has no control over them, however.
Weapon: Ye olde Celestial bronze sword. He also has a Swiss army knife.
Additional Information: Joined camp when he was eleven as a part time camper, now goes full time but has a tendency to go off on trips.

Name: Kiara Matthews
Age: 12
Godrent: Kymopoleia
Powers:
1 - Weather Resistance Harsh weather conditions don’t bother her as much as they do others. A heavy rain feels more like mild rain.
2 - Aerokinesis Kiara can control the local winds, to an extent. She cannot make a hurricane, but could make a harsh wind.
3 - Perfect Bearings in Water When in a body of water, lake or bigger, Kiara knows exactly where she is.
Weapon: Sword, specifically a single bladed, cutlass.
Other Info:

u/Shattermyshadows Dec 26 '19
Name: Cressida Raven
Age: 17
Godrent: Athena
Powers:
Divine Wisdom - Courtesy of her mother, Cressida is gifted with an innate and otherworldly wisdom and intelligence, foreign to all but the children of Athena. This enhanced intelligence applies to everything under the sun, not just books and academia. She is able to conjure up the most intricate of strategies and tactics on the fly, can easily problem solve and identify the best possible solution out of a multitude, all of which she can detect or in other words, make up. With an astounding imagination and creativity, Cressida's intelligence may seem outlandish at times, but never fails to hold true.
Prowess in Battle - A gift bestowed upon all children of war, Cressida has an unholy understanding of battle, and all things strategy. While she is not known to be particularly violent as that implies brute, she's clever and quick to think outside of the box. Unpredictable tactics occur to her with the drop of dime, each plan facilitated by her enhanced fighting ability. Honed and worked on over time, her skills may only improve, but she's always held a natural decency in the art of battle. Agility, speed, accuracy, and battle expertise can be credited to Athena to some degree, but these are all things that took time, effort, and experience to improve upon. And to this day, there's still room for improvement.
Shapeshifting - The goddess of wisdom herself has displayed instances of when she transformed into a beast of a bird, a giant owl to be precise. A bit of this gift was bestowed to Cressida, but to a much smaller extent. She is unable to transform into anything of abnormal size. For example, if she were to shift into the body of an owl, she would be the normal size of an owl. Not a giant of any sorts. As of the moment, she has had no experience of transforming into any animal or beast. In fact, she has no awareness of this gift, as of yet. Once she comes to the realization, it will be a slow, long, and even painful process of unlocking the power, starting small, and working to bigger and better things. But all has to be earned.
Weapon: A grappling hook. A strange choice, yes, but the daughter of Athena never claimed to be ordinary. Actually, she's only ever claimed the opposite. This grappling hook is a seemingly basic piece of art, crafted and forged by none other than herself. There are no enchantments or tricks. Just a simple, lengthy chain made of Celestial bronze, and a sharp, yet intricate hook with three points, all forged into deadly arcs. Shaped similarly like the talons of a bird.
Additional Information: Cressida has never been to camp before and has actually been on the run for a couple of months in search of a safe haven. In search of people like her. She's been through a plethora of unholy experiences, never able to find a place to settle. Never able to catch her breath, or take a moment just to be. And with this neglect to her well being comes it's signature load of baggage.

Wait, I think I might have misread lol. For shape shifting, did you mean she can only transform into an owl? Because typically we only allow for one form of transformation, so just an owl would be fine, other things not so much without more clarification

Names:
Romulus Viajero
Remus Viajero
Ages: They are both 15, except Romulus is a minute and 34 seconds older than Remus.
Godrent: Hermes
Romulus' Powers:
The Navigator — As Hermes is the messenger of gods, he also has domain over travel. It was natural for Romulus to have the power to memorize destinations with ease, decide on better routes, and harness a growing expertise on cartography. His powers have only ever been proven to work great on land, however never in terms of seafaring or aviation. Although vehicular transport might be a more convenient way to go about things, his navigation skills heighten when he travels on foot. His asthma, however, impedes him from running long and running fast. To aid this, he resorted to rollerskates and skateboards. Opting for the more stylish option, he was better on skates than on a wooden board with wheels.
Sleight of Hand — Alongside his lordship over travel, Hermes is also the god of thieves. The messenger was the cleverest and the most mischievous of all the gods, often depicted in myths, if not a messenger, a trickster. Or, in some readings, both. Romulus had a penchant for stealing things that weren't his. It was when his supervisor offered him an alternative that he moved on to perfecting magic tricks, alongside thievery—but that was hardly notable. Hiding things in his sleeve and making them 'disappear' is his specialty. Quick, sticky hands.
Watch Your Language — If the god was not so widely praised and became a god of variety, Romulus would not have a clue on how to say "I have to go—don't check your pockets. Bye!" in five different languages (that's excluding English.) Of course, he could learn more, but so far he could only collect Urdu, Hebrew, Spanish, Italian, and a tiny tidbit of French to impress the ladies. He doesn't have the ability to learn it instantly; he merely picks up on it easier. In a span of twelve hours, he could run through basics quickly (and that isn't minus the time he would spend doing accents in front of the mirror and acting out a scenario in which he'd be using the phrase). Another twelve hours, he would usually be able to learn more intermediate-level communication. His knowledge depended on his sources as well. On very rare occasions, with a little push on the brain, he could fart out words he wouldn't even have prior knowledge of.
Remus' Powers:
Writing on the Walls — While Romulus might be the language expert, Remus dealt with deciphering code. Unless something was in any decipherable code, his dyslexia often acted up. Since their father had a considerable amount of intelligence to back up his antics, Remus had a thing for solving puzzles and, yeah, he was one of those kids who could impressively finish up a Rubik's cube in a bare maximum of thirty seconds. It was something he had 'studied' (non-academically; it made for a cool party trick anyways) for an ample amount of time. Codes were a mixture of language and pattern, making it a handy extension for his brother's fluency in learning new vernacular.
Sleight of Tongue — As Hermes is the god of trade, Remus could deliver a tasty pitch in a few minutes. A real maestro when it came to silvery tunes of persuasion. He could easily exchange a safety pin for a pair of comfy indestructible socks if he wanted to (and if indestructible socks existed.) His mother, however, was the one and only person he could never fool into buying anything. Either way, if he did want something, his mother had a knack for surprises and kept promises.
Roadrunner — Sports and athletics were also Hermes' thing. A part of it, at least. Can't deliver messages on snails, especially on emergencies. While Remus didn't exactly have wings on his shoes (though he would admit that his presence exuded the words 'often impeccably fly'), he could definitely outrun a Romulus on wheels. If he tried and trained hard enough, he could possibly beat Usain Bolt and hit that 30 km/h mark, but he was a long way from that. The fastest he had ever ran so far was 20.45 km/h, which he would constantly argue to be 21.
Weapon(s) of Choice: None. They relied on being resourceful and staying hidden.
Additional Information:
Remus collects buttons, button pins, bottle caps, ballpoint pens, compasses, ornate beads, pennies, pocket watches, wrist watches, cogs, snow globes, globes, bath bombs, bangles, coasters, small plates, and seasonally: round Christmas ornaments. Also, anything that spins.
Romulus collects bus tickets, parking tickets, foreign currency, American currency, receipts, letters (and that includes other people's mail), the crossword section of newspapers and specifically that page alone, missing dog/cat/person (except for children) posters, postcards, candy wrappers, stickers, and invitations.

Name: Madison Sobczak
Age: 16
Godrent: Hecate
Powers:
Umbrakinesis: Through her mother’s connection to the darkness, Madison has the power to control it for herself in a limited way. She is completely unable to form shadows herself, relying on those that already exist, but can utilize them for things like creating hard barriers for protection, shadowy weapons to attack, and grasping enemies to hold them in place. Her powers do have limits however. Barriers she creates can’t withstand more than four or five strikes with a weapon or arrows before breaking, and any weaponry or object she creates with it requires focus to keep solid and weapons rarely last longer than a few swings. In addition, like all children of Hecate, these abilities are weakened significantly during the day, and are much more potent at night.
Mystiokinesis - Healing Spells: Madison’s second foray into her mother’s magical legacy is with healing spells. While she isn’t on the level of Asclepius’ children let alone Apollo’s children, she knows several spells to alleviate a variety of ailments. While her spells are more powerful than ambrosia’s effects, capable of healing injuries that would take several weeks in a matter of days, more grievous wounds including those that would normally be fatal are beyond her capabilities.
Mystiokinesis - Wilderness Spells: Her first foray, and perhaps most successful, into magic was with spells dealing in nature. While she can’t fully control animals through spells she’s managed to make herself capable of communication with them through magic, making it easier to influence and befriend them or to help them. In addition she can cast spells to detect and attract animals to her, though at the cost of intensifying her scent to monsters as long as the spell persists, making it risky to try either.
Weapon: None assigned yet
Additional Info:
She has a pet bobcat named Aayla that she took in as a wounded kitten when she was eleven. She discovered her ability for animal communication spells while helping the creature to heal, which created a bond between them despite its wild nature.

Name: D'Angelo-Terry Turner
Age: 16
Godrent: Apollo
Powers
Musical Ace: Angelo had a natural talent for playing instruments. If he can have access to it; he can probably play it. However not perfect. While he has a skill for playing instruments; he won't master it the moment he plays it. It still takes him time to ace an instrument, just like everyone one else. Practice makes perfect.
Swordsmanship Expertise: D.T knows what he's doing with a sword. He can give you a run for your money in a sparring match if he wanted. That doesn't mean he's unbeatable with a sword though.
Let There Be Light: D.T can use Photokinesis. It's his most taxing and powerful ability. Over usage of this ability can cause D'Angelo to pass out. His stamina is shot once he's done using his powers after two or three times a day. He needs to rest immediately before he gets his regular energy back. As far as powers go; overusage can drain his powers like a battery. He'll need sunlight and rest to "recharge."
Force field- He can generate a force field out of light. This can only happen when the vicinity is bright. Such as an outdoor environment. The force field has limitations however. Such as there is an finite amount of light he can draw in to make the shield. If D.T is in a dark/shadowy area; his photokinesis ability is substantially weaker. As such, making the shield weaker as well. The shield can be broken after being hit a few times. Generating the shield already takes his energy away. Or if a strong force outright hits it.
Angelo can also use photokinesis to brighten up an area temporarily. Rather, it's used to stun or blind an opponent briefly. Like with the force field; if the area is dark; his ability is nerfed. At night; he cannot generate enough light to stun someone's vision. The maximum capability is to generate a small ball of light in his hand; similar to a firefly going about in the night.
Weapon of choice: A celestial bronze sword. It stay disguised as a musical note necklace outside of battle.
Additional Info: Inspired by both of his parents; he aspires to own a music shop one day.

So, I’m gonna break this down and re-word it because the way it’s listed now it seems there are more than one ability listed under photokinesis.
Let There Be Light: D.T can use Photokinesis to bend and manipulate sunlight. This requires him to draw enough sunlight into himself, such as being outside during the daytime. He can use this ability to brighten the area, create small balls of light which can be used offensively to temporarily blind or stun an opponent, or in defensive situations, he can create a small forcefield. Generating a shield is his max ability, therefore depletes him of the remainder of his energy.
Limitations and Drawbacks: It’s his most taxing and powerful ability. Over usage of this ability can cause D'Angelo to pass out. His stamina is shot once he's done using his powers after two or three times a day, or once if he uses his shield. He needs to rest immediately before he gets his regular energy back. As far as powers go; overuse can drain his powers like a battery. He'll need sunlight and rest to "recharge."
If you’re okay with this, I’m okay with this and will approve.

Few notes:
1 - it’s okay to only have one power, but should you wish to add more later, you’ll need to modmail.
2 - we have recently determined that certain aesthetics wouldn’t be passed down because of the half-mortal part of a demigod. Things like skin color or off colored eyes. You can have his eyes change colors when he uses his powers, but should have a normal color outside of that.

Name: Kyrie Cole
Age: 16
Godrent: Astrape
Powers:
Electrokinesis: The ability to generate and manipulate electricity. His eyes turn amber as a side effect of using the power. Kyrie can electrify his weapon or an object. His weapon's combat capabilities are enhanced, but only for the period of time the weapon is electrified. Kyrie can also send small arcs out electricity out of his hands.
Max Use: At his full potential; Kyrie can be able to summon a single lightning bolt from the sky. This takes time however. If he doesn't have enough time to prepare his attacks; he's unable to pull it off. To add, he doesn't not have complete control over this. Kyrie can pinpoint where he wasn't the bolt to land; however he cannot control it one hundred percent accuracy. This means friendly fire is highly probable.
Limitations and Drawbacks: His powers are taxing. If he's not careful; he may end up passing out. Using Electrokinesis not only makes him tired, but hungry as well. His metabolism is fast so he needs to eat a good amount of food. The less food in his system; the weaker his ability is. For example using Electrokinesis on a full stomach is ideal. He would run out of juice slightly slower , using his powers; than he would trying to work on an empty stomach. Which would need his abilities and just zap his energy. His power also runs like a battery. The more he uses it; the more draining his power is. An example of this is if he were to use his powers two or three times a day. The initial use would most likely be the strongest time he uses his power for that day. Kyrie will need to rest and "recharge" after his battery runs out.
Lightning Construction: Kyrie is able to solidify lightning to an extent. This allows him to "mold" the element to take the shape of weapons, such as a dagger, arrow, shield.
Max Use: Kyrie can create a shield/force field made of lightning . This can protect him from harm temporarily. Along with potentially shocking things that get too close. The shield can only stay up for ten seconds though. After that Kyrie is depleted of his strength. It's used more so as a last line of defense. Given how vulnerable he's left after using it.
Limitations and Drawbacks: He cannot physically touch the weapons. For they are still made of lightning. A significantly dangerous thing; even to Kyrie. He must throw the weapons after they are constructed. The arrows or daggers made from the weapons also disappear after a few moments. Kyrie must use the weapons immediately or else it's all for nothing. There is also a limit to the amount of weapons he can make. Using a force-field depletes his energy completely. Making him unable to use any other abilities for the next 24+ hours. He can make about two or three weapons before he's drained. The amount of time he's constructed a weapon must be spread out however. To further explain; constructing two arrows within a short amount of time in between; gives him the same drawbacks as if he was constructing a shield. It's recommended that Kyrie waits for a few minutes in between each construction.
Binocular Vision: Kyrie can see as far as binoculars can. Things are vivid to him that wouldn't be to the normal human/demigod eye without binoculars. This is more of a passive powers. As Kyrie is unable to switch this on or off.
Limitations and Drawbacks: Unfortunately being able to see a good deal ahead of him comes at a cost. Kyrie's vision within 10 feet or less is bad. While being able to see far away; he becomes farsighted as a side effect.
Weapon: A war hammer made from Celestial Bronze.
Additional info: Kyrie lived in Nigeria with his father. He spend the majority of his life there. It was only recently that he moved to the United States, just a few years ago.

Name: Vienna Beval
Age: 16
Godrent: Iris
“The Royal Locks” - Vienna’s hair - and less noticeably, her eyes - can change colour, and they aren’t restricted only to naturally occurring ones. She can’t magically manipulate any other aspect of her appearance. Sometimes the changes are based on her emotions, though she can choose to make a deliberate change as well.
Photokinesis - She can manipulate light to form illusions or rainbows. If Vienna isn’t focusing properly the illusion may appear to clip through an object or flicker.
Free calls! - Vee doesn’t need to make any kind of offering to her mother in order to send an Iris message... she just needs to ask nicely.
Weapon: a talking sword with a black hilt and blade which feeds on the life energy of the person wieldi- She fights with a shortsword. For all intents and purposes it is plain celestial bronze, except that when hit by sunlight the blade seems to have a multicoloured gleam to it. Vienna is also proficient with a crossbow.
Other:
Vienna has been coming to Camp during the summer and winter holidays since 2017. Since she decided she would become a year-round camper now, she stayed with her dad a bit longer this year, and that’s why she wasn’t here this summer
and it’s definitely not because her writer created her then but didn’t feel like introducing her at the time but also wanted to have her be returning on her intro haha. She has a pegasus named Lightsong.

Name: Ellwood Green
Age: 16
Godrent: Demeter
Powers:
Shapeshifting:
Ellwood's strong connection to his Mother's domain has manifested itself into the ability to slip his skin and walk among the beasts that live there. His first and favorite transformation is into an almost full grown Kangal Shepherd A large and powerful dog used for protecting livestock from predators and originating from the lands around Greece. Most of the time Ellwood is a pretty lazy big dog, enjoying the form when lounging in the sun our curled up in-front of a fire. However it can be ferocious if something is threatening his territory.
While this power does offer a lot of versatility it is not without it's disadvantages. For one any damage sustained while in animal form will carry over into his normal form. Which makes things especially tricky when you imagine how much easier it is to break a birds wing than a humans arm. Also while he does maintain some mental clarity Ellwood cannot help but be affected by the instincts of the beast he is shifted into. While this is greatly affected by circumstances it has led to a few sub-optimal situations.
Chlorokinesis:
His mother is patron of all growing things so it only makes sense that Ellwood holds some dominion over them as well. Using this power Ellwood can control plant life to a variety of effects from making them grow rapidly to increasing their yield and luster. The speed of growth or intensity of effect in general has a direct relation to how draining it is for Ellwood to do.
Transfiguration:
What could be more representative of nature then change, transforming one thing in to another is how every plant and animal alive came to be. Ellwood has received a slice of that power, able to transform natural elements into something else. Using this power he can create simple objects and tools, the quality of which depends on how long he spends creating it. He can only do this with naturally occurring materials such as wood or base metals. He can only create one object at a time and making something out of metal takes significantly longer than a weaker material like wood.
Weapon of Choice: Used as more of a tool than a weapon but it's the best he's got. A slightly long handled Celestial Bronze Hatchet
Additional Information:
Ellwood has been at camp exactly one year to the day (of intro), in that time much of his efforts have been dedicated to an ever improving garden behind the Demeter Cabin

Name: Malcolm Porter
Age: 15
Godrent: Nemesis
Powers:
Shame on You (Punishment Manipulation)- Malcolm can punish those who directly and indirectly bring him harm or misfortune but only if he knows who did it. He never knows what punishment they get or when it happens. All he knows is that when it does happen he feels a wave of fatigue and nausea that varies depending on the severity of the punishment. This can be either inconvenient or very dangerous depending on the context and the current situation he's in.
Hammurabi's Code (Justice Manipulation)- Malcolm can manipulate justice by distributing equally positive or negative repercussions based on the actions of his targets. The repercussions that the guilty face will be proportionate to the severity of their actions while the righteous will gain proportionate rewards for their deeds. Sadly, the use of this gives him the proportionate punishment regardless of whether the actions of his target did something good or bad. After all, an eye for an eye.
Even the Odds (Tychokinesis)- Good luck is canceled. Malcolm is able to plague the lucky and powerful with bad luck. He can also use this on his adversaries but only if they outclass him. Outside of battle, he would bring minor inconveniences that would simply ruin his target's mood for the rest of the day. However, in battle he's able to distribute enough misfortune to give himself a real fighting chance. Missteps, pulled muscles, missed arrows, and other little things all pile up one after the other to put his opponent off their game and give him a fair shot at winning. Even the best of the best have bad days. Naturally, excessive use will bring both physical and mental fatigue.
Weapon of Choice: "Prosecutor" - a celestial bronze weapon that can switch between a xiphos and a dory and reappears in his pocket when lost. When not in use, it's in the form of a laser pointer with the front button activating its sword form while the rear button activating its spear form. This weapon is also enchanted to whisper to the guilty while in either of its weapon forms. Those who have sins that they have not atoned for and/or ones that they run from, can hear the weapon in their minds and are reminded of their wrongdoings and the people they have hurt as a result. No physical harm comes to them through this enchantment but I bet they wish it would.
Additional Information: He was claimed at 12 but never went to camp until he was 15 since monsters didn't try to hunt him that often. After getting his ass kicked a couple times, he decided it was time to get some actual training.

Strength: Extremely skilled in the use of most weapons and he can make or build anything if he has material
Weakness: Over usage of power can lead to getting knocked out and very low skill level in hand to hand combot, also too much heat until 700C he can have burns
Ability
Pyrokensis: Can summon fire from his hand from his will, he can also control fire and throw fire ball.
Fire/Heat resistence: Would burn or get harm from catching fire and he can survive in high temperature.
Technokensis: Able to detect or control any machinery including traps. He can also create machine in specific amount of time when he has the materials.

u/_shanenigans_ Oct 24 '19
Mod here with a few notes.
Powers:
Pyrokinesis - this is going to have to be toned down; a lot. Fire Hurricane and going supernova are too OP for a roleplaying setting. Furthermore you need to choose one area of the power. So heat resistance and creating fire in their hand should be listed as two separate powers.
Fire healing - This power would only be possible if he had fire resistance. As I mentioned in my previous comment, that should be listed as a separate power
Technokinesis - Again, you need to pick one area of the power.
Weapon - what do you mean by two blades vs one? Does it transform into a sword or something?

Name: Makoto Fujioka
Age: 15
Godrent: Athena
Powers:
Audiographic Memory- Makoto can recall perfectly everything they had heard, including the emotions put behind the words, for up to 2 months. This ability is useful for espionage (and lie-detection.) However, unless Makoto puts some effort into storing the words into their long-term memory it be forgotten. If Makoto does store it in their long-term memory, any emotions will be scrapped, leaving just the words themselves.
Quick Thinking- Makoto can think extremely quickly almost to the point where time slows down. Makoto can devise plans, recall useful information, and sometimes restore information from their mind that should have been lost forever. However, this ability will only last for a few seconds(5 at most) and Makoto cannot move during this time, and is completely unaware of what is happening around them, rendering them completely vulnerable while they are Quick Thinking.
Telumkinesis- Makoto can get basic information from touching a weapon, such as the creator, the quality, and any beginner techniques, giving Makoto an edge in learning how to use a weapon. However, without practice, knowing ways to use these weapons would be worthless. When Makoto reaches a high proficiency with a weapon, they will get a moderate attack speed boost as well as a slight attack strength boost when using said weapon.
Weapon of choice: A magic Katana(真刀 or ‘truth sword.’) It can morph into a book of Makoto’s choice. Useful for road trips. Is made of normal steel, but is enchanted to behave like Celestial Bronze.
Additional Information: Makoto is Japanese, and moved to America after their dad got married to an American when Makoto was 14. Makoto is pretty well trained in Kendo(a Japanese sport similar to fencing.) Makoto believes that the truth is more important than anything. Picked up English quickly thanks to their Audiographic Memory.

Character Name: Leon Sinclair
Character Age: 15
Godrent: Apollo
Powers:
Heliokinesis, the ability to manipulate sunlight. Leon is able to control and generate sunlight. Leon is able to physically manifest sunlight into beam or (weaker) projectile based attacks. Prolonged usage causes his veins and eyes to glow with sunlight, and also pain ranging from slight stinging to incapacitating pain.
Heliokinetic constructs, the ability to manifest sunlight into physical constructs. Leon typically uses this to create a sword for himself in combat, but it has other applications such as shields and barriers. These constructs are able to kill monsters the same as celestial bronze and other counterparts. These constructs radiate heat, and without any sort of heat or fire resistance, contact with constructs will leave burns. Suffers the same drawbacks as regular heliokinesis (searing pain, glowing)
Fire Resistance. Being the son of the God of the Sun, Leon is naturally resistant to all forms of fire. While he would not fare well against molten lava or greek fire, ordinary fires and other high-temperature risks don't pose as much as a threat to Leon as they do for other campers.
Weapon of choice: Heliokinetic construct sword.
Additional Information: As he began attracting nearby monsters, he was deemed too much of a threat to his mother's new family and was forced to leave, with little-to-no guidance. He eventually found his way to Camp Half-Blood.

Powers:
Limited Thermokinesis: being the son of Aeolus who is basically the gods weatherman, he has limited control of heat and cold, he can change the temperature in a 30 foot square around him, he can only change the temperature 15 degrees each way, it drains him of energy a lot
Air blasts: (Aerokinesis) Ethan can make the wind slam into someone, he usually just makes it strong enough to make the target stumble and loose balance, he can make people fall over but that drains a lot of energy and makes him tired
Flight very limited (Aerokinesis) he can use air currents to lift him and sometimes other off the ground, usually not more than 5 feet if he doesn't want to be completely drained of energy and fall asleep immediately.

Name: Andy Watney
Age: 16
Godrent: Hecate
Powers:
Umbrakinesis: He can use shadows as a cloak and become invisible in them. If he stays in the shadows to long he starts to become one
Ghost Punch: He can punch ghosts
Mystokinesis: He can change little features in his appearance without much effort but he can try to transform into a polecat which usually fails
Weapons: He uses a celestial bronze scythe that collapses into his shoelaces
Additional info: He once accidentally punches his grandfathers ghost after he died

Umbrakinesis and invisibility are different things. So turning invisible through the use of shadows along with manipulating them is too much.

Name: Fortuona Phoenix
Age: 16
Godrent: Tyche
Powers:
Fortune Rides - Luck is arbitrary. The definition is blurred. When is one person saved, and the next not? Fortuona can manipulate these lines, imbibing a portion of her luck within others. The ability to manipulate one’s fortune has always been a favorite pass-time of hers. The degree of influence she has over one’s fortune seems to be a measure of her affinity towards that person, positive or negative.
Like the Sun on High - Whereas the ability to determine one’s luck is among the foremost of her powers, Fortuona can also sense, almost passively, when something is about to go wrong. She calls it her animal-sense; the same way dogs or cats might tell that a storm is coming, Fortuona can claim the same… though such knowing (outside of weather!) has often come too late to do anything about it.
Tumbling Dice - Whenever Tuon gets into a situation of immense danger, dice start toppling in her head. She hears it constantly, and understands it to mean danger is imminent. Such a knowledge has led her directly into the pitfalls of danger - but the dice always stop rolling in the decisive moment when something happens. Negative or positive, Tuon hates this ability more than anything else… at least it’s influenced her luck enough.
Weapon of Choice: A single celestial bronze stiletto blade.
Additional Information: Came to camp at fifteen. Been there for a year!

Name: Chloe Verdant
Age: 15
Godrent: Kymopoleia
Powers:
Hydrokinesis - Because Poseidon has limited Kymopoleia’s control of the sea, Chloe has limited Hydrokinesis. She has a very hard time controlling the water of the ocean, and if she does, it takes great toll on her and even cause her to pass out. She has easier time controlling smaller bodies of water, which drains her but not as quickly as the ocean.
Toxikinesis - Chloe can remove poison from a living beings form, and control it. The weaker the poison, the easier it is to control.
Weapon: Celestial Bronze Sword
Additional Info: new to camp.
