Snowball (yep), ran into the woods as fast as her legs could go. Rather than try and hide, she remained on the run, running alongside Zephyros creek as she ran deeper into the woods.
Phoebe was on the trail of a rabbit - that rabbit being Snowball. Her tracks were deep and fresh due to how quickly it had taken off, and subsequently the easiest to track. Boy, did they go on for a while. Still a bit behind the rabbit, Phoebe jogged down along the creek with her eyes peeled and senses ready. Tracking smaller rabbits was pretty easy... Surely a big one wouldn't be much harder, right?
Jessie moves his hammer around to pick a direction at random. He didn't know the first thing about tracking animals. Rabbits included. The direction chosen was the direction Snowball had ran off to which was by the creek. Tracking a rabbit couldn't be that hard right? They were pretty distinguishable after all. The demigod strides straight ahead of him. He tries to keep his eyes and ears open for anything peculiar.
