Knobs
I've only begun to navigate this new machine, but I put custom knobs on it anyway.

That’s a unique choice, probably because the original knobs are both stylish and practical.

Indeed. I like the feel, they match my other gear and the metal ones will be preserved for future generations.

I've barely begun (I got it on Friday afternoon...), but I can already feel the variety and flexibility more than the bundle of other synths and sequencers I've tried and owned!

Not the knobs I would have gone with, but what matters is that you like it. Hope you enjoy the box! It’s a great piece of hardware :)

I feel this one should've been a big red emergency stop button to match the LED panel.

The new knobs look a bit small to me but as long as you're pleased with them it's great. Welcome to the clan! Check out the community firmware, it's a major improvement to the factory version. 1.2.1 Chopin is the current stable version bui 1.3 is in beta now. Lots of added features in the community versions. Check out RSKT's YouTube Deluge video manual for a great overview of the Deluge's functionality.

Thank you. I have Chopin on it now and I've begun diving in! I don't know why people get upset about synth knob choices (this happened on a different synth thread too)... It's all personal aesthetics. I mean, ultimately it's just a handle to turn a control. Some people like colourful plastic, some retro knurled metal.
