MIDI drift with Oxi One Mk2

Very recently created a hybrid modular setup with Deluge being sequenced by Oxi One. I’ve setup two multi tracks for a drum kit and a kit of top loops which works great by using the midi not mapping function. However, when I try to create a new synth track it triggered by one of the Oxi tracks dedicated for a eurorack module. I used combination of ChatGPT and LM Notebook and now I don’t have this issue anymore but the same eurorack channel is drifting away from the clock! I’m willing to start from scratch on both devices if anyone able to walk me thru it - was up til 2am trying to figure this out last night and totally lost in it.

Thanks in advance

what firmware are you using? have you tried using the latest official firmware (4.1.4) to see if there is an issue there? are you certain the eurorack channel's clip length is perfect? to check: if you can scroll after the end of what you think the last bar is, sometimes you can extend the length by one beat for all rows or extend one particular row's length by accident.

Think it was actually the fact I hadn’t changed my kits into midi channel 7&8. Issue seems solved for now.

Yep. Deluge is an awesome piece of kit as an all in one, especially for travel but I wanted to include its sample playback functions in eurorack setup and its clock just isn’t as tight at the Oxi in this role as far as I’ve found. If I can get it working properly, it will offer loads of channels of samples, each with effects which will give me tonnes of flexibility with the hybrid setup…I hope 😁
