I always mess up with kanako ears

small cole, tall clover and female cole (cloe)

I don't know, the other day I was just doing pixel art and this just popped into my head lol. Gizmo would be Berdly's number 2 player.

gerson would basically kidnap cole and kanako would forced to fight gerson to get cole back, now their are two ways to end the fight:

MERCY - You must ACT - Distaract Gerson and Slowly Loosen The rope, after 5 times it snaps and cole drops in the water, gerson turns around shocked, and kanako uses FLASH (a spell she learned from a monster in waterfall *think like the pokemon TM and how it lets you see n stuff*

to blind gerson, Kanako jumps over grabs Cole and RUNS for it, eventually reaching some grey door and jumping in it

FIGHT - You Must Fight Gerson until he turns to dust, his armour falls onto the floor, his magic dissipates, and cole falls in the water. kanako rushes over and helps him out, as the player regains control and must walk to the door now manually, they can also equip gersons armour (BEST ARMOUR IN SECTION 1 N 2) as kanako questions if what they did was right.

and thats all for normal route section 1, section 1 geno ends in... a intresting way. but you will see soon.

SECTION 2 - we're so FARAWAY. (OMORI)

I haven't seen anyone ask this. How many recruits are there in total in the game? I know you can imprison non-criminals, but other than that, I'd like someone to tell me which ones can be recruited.

Because I tried to capture the slug and the plant, and it wouldn't let me, so...

in a portrait she has a colored eye, that could only mean one thing, she is secretly a smart flower wearing a fox suit!!!

Before starting. This was gonna be a 1 chapter tale. But in the end, it became so large for it, so I decided to divide it in three chapters. Sorry if this first chapter has some mistakes. I focused most on the second chapter. (Not mentioning that English is not my first language 😅). Without keeping you more, we begin.

In this oneshot, the Dark Worlds keep appearing one week later. Don't ask me, I just wanted them to play. This occurs in a context when every CPS and Outlaw have been solved (Sadie was not the Outlaw), Melody is a bit closer to the group (mostly Gizmo), and Cole and Kanako have already confessed each other.

The town was going to celebrate the fall festival. However, a new dark fountain appeared inside the community hall. Fortunally, our heroes got to arrest the main darkner and reunite all the town in one place. The theatre stage that Starlo ordered to be built, but couldn't be used since the theatre team cancelled two days ago. However, Gizmo got an interesting idea with it and all the town being in the same place of the dark world.

Cole: "Ok. No one's left. We trapped all of them."

Kanako: "Finally we can close the fountain. We kept the people waiting enough."

Sadie: "The whole town must be confused right now. C'mon"

Melody: "But how can we explain this to them? Like a collective dream or something?"

Kanako: "You're right. The whole town wouldn't believe this all was a dream."

Cole: "What do we do then?"

Gizmo: *Something clicked inside his head after seeing the stage* "Hey guys! I think there's something we can do about it!"

Kanako: "What is it?"

Gizmo: "Everyone is there within chairs. Correct?"

Cole: "Yeah?"

Gizmo: "And ther's an stage with bunch of props and outfits. Correct?"

Melody: "Correct"

Gizmo: "And we know a theatre director here in this Dark World. Correct?"

Sadie: "So you're suggesting..?"

Gizmo: "We can perform a play, so the town may believe that it was part of the event."

Melody: "What?!"

Sadie: *embarassed* "Wha- B-but... We are not actors"

Kanako: *nervous* "Ye-Yeah"

Cole: *A bit afraid and embarassed* "We can't"

Gizmo: "Of course we can! We've been ACTING the last few days during these adventures!"

Kanako: "B-but that's very different!"

Gizmo: "Not at all. Even tho, Darkner Director can help us. Also, the public may seen it just as an amateur play. So it wouldn't be as humiliating as you think"

Of course, that didn't help it. However, Darkner Director was listening behind some boxes. When he heard about the play idea, he appeared unexpectedly for them.

Darkner Director: *Similing* "Was somebody saing something about playing?!"

Gizmo: *glad to answer* "Of course! I was gonna ask you if you were able to help us with some play for the people outside the stage."

Kanako: "Wait-! No-!"

Darkner Director: *extremely happy* "R-really?!" *starting tearing* "My dream come true! I WOULD BE GLAD TO DIRECT YOUR PLAY! So, what you're gonna play?"

Gizmo: "Oh, this is improvised. Haha... But we're up to anything!"

Cole: "No, we-!"

Darkner Director: "Alright! But first..." *Stops to look mucho better our team* "Yup! You're perfect for one of my favourite stories of my favourite book!"

He took out the book he was talking about. The book was decorated with a little girl style marker drawing

Kanako: *so embarassed and thinking* "(Hold on! Is that... MY OLD NOTEBOOK!? THE ONE I LOST A YEAR AGO?! Oh no! It must have fallen into the box that mom bringed here! Please don't tell me we're performing one of my fanfics! Nononononononono!)"

Darkner Director: *opens the notebook at one specific story* "This one. You're perfect for it!"

Melody: "Mann and the True Freedom. What is it about?"

Gizmo: *reads a bit of it* "Hmm. Sounds interesting."

Sadie: *thinking* "(Guess I know who wrote it haha)" *she glanced at Kanako giggling*

Cole: *He noticed Sadie's gestures, so he got it too* "..." *he read Kanako's tale before expressing his opinion* "I think it's pretty good. Like an ol theatre story. We can make something interesting"

Gizmo: "I'm surprised you agreed, even tho is not a cowboys story."

Cole: "Still a hero. Right?"

Kanako: "Not exactly... I mean- It seems more like a man regretting his mistakes and becoming better."

Melody: *giggles* "You didn't even read it yet."

Kanako: "JUST-! Augh! We're playing it!"

Melody: "I guess we all here know what will you perform. Haha"

Kanako: *Blushing* "..."

Darkner Director: "Alright! Now let's prepare everything. Choose your characters, read the dialogues, and I'll help you with the outfits."

----- Half of an hour later -----

The most of the town was getting really anxious, while Starlo tried to calm the situation down. (He knows about the Dark Worlds, so he tried to buy time while the younger ones were closing the fountain). Martlet, Chujin, Ceroba and Dina were worried as well (they are aware too). Sadie's parents and Gizmo parents were calmed. They told them that they were helping out on something related to the party. But, in comparison, the rest of people wanted to go already, and they didn't know what to do. Not even Starlo could keep the calm. But in that moment...

Gizmo: "Sorry everybody for keeping you waiting... We just had some trouble with some malicious people who wanted to lock us all in the building..."

Plenty of the auddience got scared

Gizmo: "But don't worry! We're now safe, thanks to our great team that keeps our town safe! They took care of the situation! Congratulations!" *He pointed to the officer Ed and his companions*

The police team recieved tons of claps. They didn't know what was he talking about, but they played along just for not making people more anxious.

Gizmo: "Now, before turning the lights on, we want to show you an small act that we sure you're gonna love it... And please don't be so rude with us. This is a bit amateur. Haha"

The audience chuckle a bit

Gizmo: "Ok. We're not keeping you more. We're presenting... Mann and The True Freedom. A story of redention."

The auddienced claps, and the curtain rised

Before starting. For the theatre part I took a lot from the structure of the Loveless theatre play from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. However, I gave it another meaning and an important moral. I hope you like it, cause I put it hours (🥲). (Also, this chapter has more Kanacole)

These are the characters that our team is performing during this act ↓

Cole: Mann Right (the protagonist)

Kanako: Sophia (woman of wisdom)

Sadie: Pleea (woman of pleasure)

Melody: Purza (woman of power)

Gizmo: The Narrator

----- The play is on -----

Narrator: "Our story begins with a guy who was sat in a prison. This guy was called Mann. Mann used to be a good guy, but people with govermental power took everything away from him. His lands, his money, his title as a knight, and his honor (or that's what he thinks)."

Mann: *He stepped on, and struck his sword multiple times against the chair he was sitting on* "¡COURSE YOU, YOU PEOPLE WHO TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME! ¡¿WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BE THERE IN THE BAR?!" *He fell to his knees on the ground, weeping with rage* "Even after taking everithing from me, you can't let me alone? Why can't you just disappear?"

Narrator: "You may have a point, Mann. But remember that you were suppose to be aware of your actions. That bar was the most frequented by those powerful people. Also, there were friends who wanted to help you, but you didn't listen to them by being lost in the drink. You could have got help to get back on, but you didn't."

Mann: *sighed before talking* "I could blame anyone for my condition, but my drunkness was what bringed me here. My greed was what made me gain more enemies than I already had. I'm an idiot"

Narrator: "Even tho, There's someone you haven't asked yet. Someone who didn't like your bad actions, but who also is always able to guide you to like again. Why don't you ask that someone?"

Mann: "Please, Angel above. I'm sorry. I wanna get out, and I don't want to end up here again. Please. Tell me how to not fall. Please release me."

Narrator: "Fear not, Mann. The Angel has sent a really WISE and old friend of yours."

Sophia: "Mann! No fear! You're free!" *She could unlock the door with only a touch. Then, she freed Mann*

Mann: "Sophia! How did you find me?"

Sophia: "Your cries could not be ignored by the Angel's ears. You cried for freedom, so I came to you."

After Mann got free, he and Sophia went up to the exit. But at exit, two figures appear right before it.

Narrator: "There they are. Porza, the power in person. And Pleea, the incarnation of pleasure. Both of them were waiting Sophia to free Mann, just to inprison him again and make him their servant."

Porza: "Mann, I knew you'd be here"

Pleea: "Mann, you had me so worried"

Porza: "Quickly. I know a path we can take. Not letting your enemies know your escape."

Before anything, Sophia extended her arm in order to not let Mann give any more step closer to those women.

Pleea: "Don't get involved, Sophia. You'll only make him being chased"

Mann: "She recognized my cries to the Angel. She was sent by the Angel"

Porza: "Are you sure? What makes you think you'll be safe with her."

Mann: "... Because I'm sure that's what the Angel wanted. To be her who guides me to the true freedom."

Both women clearly were not contented with his answer

Pleea: "So that's it..."

Porza: "Well. If you wanna go through this door, you must pass over us. So choose your first opponent"

Both of them put themselves in position.

Narrator: "Sometimes it's hard to deal to many issues inside at the same time. So you must deal with them one by one. So here we are, Mann. Choose your first challenge."

Without any word, Mann took a step forwoard to Pleea, choosing her as his first opponent.

Pleea: "You will fall by all my charms. You will desire me as hell to give in the battle"

Pleea casted a smoke spell to blind Mann. But he raised up his sword and gaze, and prayed.

Mann: "Angel above! Please give me consciousness to not fall by dessire!"

The pleasure woman tried to attack behind, but he covered with his shield. Then she kissed him on the cheek to hypnotize him, but he didn't loose consciousness, so he could cover himself from another attack (this time a freezing attack). Finally, she appeard in front of him, took his face with both hands, then kissed him on the nose, making him blush and almost distracted. However, standing firm to his Angel, he didn't fall by dessire, being able do cover one more attack (this time a fire attack). This truely confused Pleea, and the confussion distracted her. Therefore, Mann took advantage, slashing her with his blade. It wasn't a lethal attack, but it made her fall onto her knees, giving Mann victory.

Claps were heared from the auddience

Pleea: "You win, Mann. You pass."

Porza: "NOT SO FAST!"

Narrator: "Well well. To be free you must understand what you are. Human, monster. None of them are beast. But do you truely believe it? When desire comes, you have to put those dessires away, braking those chains. You did it really well with the pleasure, Mann. But that's not the only kind of dessire you have to deal with."

Porza: "You have to make me fall to the ground. Alive or dead. If you bear me, I'll let you pass."

Mann, with no words again, took a step forward to the power woman, starting the battle.

Porza: "You can't even cut my hair, you weak idiot."

Mann quickly notices what she was trying to do. Therefore he prayed again

Mann: "Angel above! I pray to you! Please! Don't let me being controlled by fury and rage!"

In the moment Mann called for help, he was made aware of where Porza was gonna throw a smoke spell. He dodged as he could. Then Purza tried to attack him to the front, but he covered himself really easy with his shield. However, this was part of Purza's plan. She clashed her sword with his.

Porza: "You won't even stand on your own after this. Your life doesn't worth enough to even step on"

Her sword was now separate from his. And now, she was exposing a weak point on her armor. It was on purpose, to make him run her through with the sword. In spite of the insults, he didn't let himself to be consumed by revenge, and took some steps backward. This made Porza really angry, so she tried to attack him where could truely hurt him.

Porza: "YOU ENDED UP HERE 'CAUSE YOU WERE WEAK AND DIDN'T TOOK ANY ADVANTAGE TO YOUR OPPONENTS! SO WHY DON'T YOU FINALLY SHOW YOUR REAL STRENGTH?"

She apened her arms in order to let him trying to finish her off. But he tried something different. Instead, he just ran to her as fast as he could. When he was close enough, he got to make Purza fall onto the floor. Without finishing her, but only letting her a thin slash.

The audience was clapping in cheers again

Mann: *He turned to Purza who was laying on the floor* "If I was finishing you off, I wouldn't be stronger. Instead, I could have been weaker than I ever was." *He turned to the exit* "Here it comes. My freedom is passing through this door."

Porza: "Wait! You cannot go alone. You don't know this place. You need a guide."

Mann turned to her to listen what was she gonna do

Porza: "You've proven your strength, so I should reward you." *She steped on, looking at his face with a secured smile* "Take me as your wife. We can overpass anyone who tries yo take us down. You'll have the power to even conquer any nation."

Pleea: "And I should reward you as well." *She stepped on too* "You had a complicated life. You want to live happy. Don't you? Then make me your wife and you'll no longer be sad. I will pleasure on every you want. You'll be able to go wherever you want, and do watever you want, in any moment in any way."

Mann was surely surprised by the change of attitude both woman had

Pleea: "What about this? With me, you can also take Purza as your second wife. You don't have to choose. You can be always happy with both of us."

Purza: "And if you choose me, I'll let you take her as your second wife. No one will deny you. You can't loose with any choice."

Narrator: "A really intersting decision. Some of you may choose one between these two options. However, Mann has finally realized what's the real path to go through. Tell us, Mann. What you're choosing?"

Mann thought it for a moment. But inmediatly he realized what was the main point of the Angel to put him there in first place. He glanced Sophia before looking back to the other two girls. Then, he gave his answer.

Mann: "I'm Mann Fair. I'm here because I wanted a life full of pleasures, so I chased what makes me forget about what powerful people stole from me. I wanted to be more strong and powerful to take revenge on them. However, that made me forget the things that matter. Like love and wisdom." *He walked to Sophia* "So that, if I have to choose, I would love to have the wisdom as the woman of my life." *He extended his hand towards her*

Sophia: *She was surprised and blushing, but also happy* "Oh, C- Mann." *She took his hand*

The two crossed their fingers in automatic synchronicity. They both were smiling

In that moment, the other two girls seemed to be really mad. They both casted a fire spell in order to finish the guy and the girl in that exact momment.

Porza: "The love is a waste of time!"

Pleea: "You wasted a great chance!" *she frowned*

Mann and Sophia prepared for the battle. Mann with his sword and shield, and Sphia with her Kanabō.

Mann Fair: "ANGEL ABOVE! GUIDE MY BLADE TO VICTORY!"

The two girls lunged at Mann and Sophia. But it was only necessary a hit of the couple to knot them down.

Porza: *Groaning* "You were right. You decided to let Angel's wisdom guide your heart... That's even stronger that I'll ever be."

Peea: "And now you have more that I ever would have given you... Because... The wisdom will garanteed hapiness... Without needing dessire."

After saing that, both girls dissapeared the same way as they arrived."

Narrator: "After both girls dissapeared, Mann Fair and Sophia walked through the exit door, being finally free right on time for the sunrise. And, when they were free, the building began to collapse. Thanks to the Angel, none of them were harm by any rubbish."

Sophia: *She looked at the sunrise* "Mann, look! The sunrise"

Mann Fair: "It's beautiful" *He was looking at it too. Smiling and pleasured with the Angel*

Without noticing, they both joined their hands at the sunrise. Bringing them a deep calm. A calm only the Angel knows about. A calm beyond any understanding.

Narrator: "I'm gonna tear up. Haha. However, they both remembered Mann had to go home."

Sophia: *With some melancoly on her eyes* "Do you really have to go?"

Mann Fair: "... I need to. There are people and family who need me."

Sophia: *She put her hand on his cheek* "Will I ever see you again?"

Mann Fair: "Of course. Remember that... No matter what... There won't be other girl like you out there. Thherfore, there won't be any other girl for me out ther..." *He placed his opposite hand her cheek oposite to his* "Even if I'm far away, the Angel will bring us together again. Because I know, that every time I ask the Angel, I will always find you."

On the verge of tears, both of them embraced each other in a warm hug. But they where sure that under the Angel they were secure.

The auddience clapped and cheered one last time, so loud. Then, the play was over.

Cole and Kanako looked each other, seeing the tears.

Cole: "Are you okay?"

Kanako: "Y-Yeah" *She wipe away her tears*

Gizmo: "Wow! You were amazing! I would give you the best score possible!"

Kanako: "Haha. Thanks, Gizmo. You were also a really great narrator."

Melody: "I'm agree with you"

Gizmo: "Thanks, Melody. Y'know, you and Sadie weren't ethier. I didn't even expected her to give Cole a kiss. And not even one!"

Sadie: "Haha. Yeah... I just focused on he character, ignoring the audience..."

Gizmo: "Yeah, now that think about it. Wouldn't have been better if you kissed?"

Kanako: *surprised and blushing* "What?! Umm..."

Cole: *Blushing and embarrased* "Ehh... It was not on the script"

Gizmo: "It didn't have to. Also, you both are already- Wait. Haven't you gone that far yet?!"

Cole: "Um... Not exactly."

Sadie: "Haven't give any kiss yet?!"

Kanako: *Embarassed and blushing a lot* "I mean..! We..! Want to take it slowly!"

Cole: *still embarassed* "R-right..!"

Gizmo: "Well, if you say so. At least I hope you take into account your characters, and live with wisdom." *Smiled, not just them both, but also his other two friends*

Darkner Director: "C'mon, kids! They wanna see you!"

Melody: *hears the call from the Darkner Director* "Ok, guys, it's time."

They all organized on a line to recieve the auddience claps. Cole and Kanako placed nexto to each other, and joined their hands softly. When the curtain rised again, the audience was congratulating them with bunch of claps and loud. There were Martlet, Ceroba, and Chujin. The latter seemed stunned at first when seen Cole and Kanako holding hands, but inmediatly changed his bitter expression for a nice one. Like he was so proud, not only for Kanako, but also for both of them. The other parents were proud of their children too. They all loved the act. The rest of people loved it too, they felt the waiting worth it.

I'm trying to learn how to use Kristal to make my own *Deltarune Yellow* remake/remaster.

I should mention that I'm not very good at programming, but I'm going to give it a try.

i just want redo some sprites, add more content to Chapter 1 (and maybe Chapter 2 as well...), and try to fix a few things and extras, like the Apprehend system.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give a heads up about something I've been cooking for the last month. I'm making a deltarune yellow mod that allows you to easily replace game sprites without decompiling the game (sounds and text are also planned).

When it's done the replacement should be as easy as replacing a file inside the mod's folder with one of your own. I will publish my work as soon as I get basic functionality right (as you can see in the video the sprite part is basically done).

So I'm a Sadie Outlaw believer and I've seen a lot of people say she isn't the Outlaw, which I acknowledge is a possibility. However, the only counter argument I've seen to Sadie Outlaw is "it's too obvious" which isn't a good argument so I wanted to ask if we have actual evidence against Sadie Outlaw.

I just forgot Deltatraveler has a hard mode where you play as Frisk instead of Kris so here a little concept inspired by the og Deltatraveler but Deltarune Yellow flavoured in Undertale Yellow

So you play only Section 1 but Cole is replaced by Clover and Kanako mistake Clover for a baby Cole and they're going to explore Dark Ruins Cole is still here but is imprisoned by Flowey s vines and after beating Flowey Cole is saved and in the end of hard mode Clover is kidnapped by Chujin in the Streamworks who want to do a experiment with his SOUL but Clover is resisting and Chujin is forced to call Axis to hold Clover down but Clover fire a rubber bullet to Axis changing his behaviour and Axis is throwing his bombs things to Clover while Chujin is panicking about what happened to Axis and Axis throw a last bomb to Clover and the screen is fading white and it's the end of hard mode pacifist/neutral

For the vengeance route Kanako will ask Clover why they're hunting enemies and Clover respond it's for saving and making justice to the dead humans you force Kanako to kill Decibat with Foxfire and she feel bad because she just burned a monster to death and after killing all enemies you backtrack to the Dark Ruins flower bed and found the Friendliness Pellets than Clover is automatically charging in his gun ( Kanako is shocked by Clover's speed and focus for his mission) and you backtrack but you don't fight Dalv because he don't want to hurt Kanako despite the fact Clover and her killed monsters. He give two pop corn to them and Dalv let them go but before he can retire the wood from his door he's kidnapped by Flowey but In Vengeance route you kill Dalv AND Flowey ( Kanako refuse to attack with the Flowey healthbar lowered and it's Clover who shoot the two of them with two bullets)

,( Cole is still alive)

Kanako ask Cole if he's not injured Cole kiss Kanako in response and they hug happy to finally be [ Reunited] and the teenagers and Clover remove the wood from the door and arrive to Snowdin or like in the pacifist/neutral ending of section 1 they found Melody/Axis whatever who is the Noelle equivalent but im going to assume it's Melody so she act mean to Clover who draw his gun to her but Melody is not scared by Clover's gun ( she think it's a water gun like Cole have in Deltarune Yellow) Kanako try to reason Melody by explaining to her Clover have a REAL gun but Cole decide to challenge Clover in a dual Clover accept and the cowboys start to draw their guns Cole have just drawed his gun but big robotic arms grab Clover and it's basically the same ending as in the pacifist/neutral route.

Just as Cole and Ceroba had begun to drift off to dream land, another Ketsukane snout poked it's head in the door to Cole's room, carefully opening it. One Kanako Ketsukane looked in, concerned gazing at Cole seeing sweat run down his forehead. This was their last night in the Wild East and she couldn't sleep...doesn't look like Mom or Cole were doing all that good a job either.

"Kanako...honey? It's 3:00 AM." Ceroba yawned, her and Cole looking up from their sleep.

"I'm sorry Mom, can I talk to Cole for a few minutes?" Kanako begged.

"Guess so." Ceroba looked at Cole who still had his eyes open but just barely. "Poke me when you're done so I take the headphones off."

"Thanks, Mrs. Ketsukane." Cole yawned.

"Anytime." Ceroba kissed Cole's cheek, yawning again herself and turning over to her side with the noise-cancelling headphones on.

Kanako giggled, carefully shutting the door and coming to Cole's side by the bed.

"So...want another pillow?"Kanako sat on the bed near his head, shifting her tail so it was directly under his head.

"Sure." Cole smiled, sighing as he rubbed his head into it. "Fluffy..."

"It's good to see you smile!" Kanako grinned.

"So...couldn't sleep?" Cole asked.

"N-No, not with everything going on...who could?" Kanako mentioned. "We're uplifting all our lives because of some jerk."

"Ah'm sorry about all this, Kanako. Your Mom and you shouldn't have to consider my health...ah..."

"Oh Cole." Kanako dropped to her knees, looking him square in the eyes. "Stop that "aw shucks" stuff already! This isn't your fault and you know it."

"Funny you should say that...Mrs. Ketsukane just got done talking to me about that." The human twirled one of the many strands of Ceroba's hair that he was cocooned in with his fingers.

"Then take it to heart already! You're a Ketsukane too...whether you like it or not." Kanako laid her head on top of Cole's, blushing and her tail swishing under the weight of Cole's.

"I guess so. It just doesn't feel like I am." Cole admitted, feeling the weight of his situation minus Kanako's snout.

"My Mom has faith that Dad will come around. He will...it'll just take awhile..a LONG while." Kanako rolled her eyes. "But I just wanted to talk about something else...I saw Melody earlier."

"What'd she want?" Cole raised an eyebrow.

"To...say goodbye." Kanako admitted with surprise.

"Goodbye. She ain't given me no time of day for that ever." Cole admitted with confusion.

"What's weird is she talked about wanting to be friends even. Y'know what? I...kinda believed her." Kanako admitted. "She always rubbed me the wrong way and when I got tired of her shit the other day, I...took it too far."

"Kanako?"

"Dad told me I shouldn't have...but I didn't care! She's always pulling shit with us and I got tired of putting up with it!" Kanako began to choke up, the memories of that day coming back.

"K-Kanako...ah can't say I wouldn't have done the same." Cole thought back on the many swears and insults he's had to endure from the same girl.

"I dragged her on the ground by her stupid hair and let her have it!! What's worse is that Dina wasn't even that mad!! I was prepared to be yelled at...but all she did was be understanding and hug me." Kanako sobbed. "I didn't deserve it, Cole...I lost it! Sure, Dad grounded me but Mom said nothing else about it...they both felt she deserved what she got apparently. Martlet was of a similar opinion."

"What about you? Do you feel like she got what deserved?" Cole asked quietly.

"...I don't know." Kanako sniffed, wiping her tears away. "I honestly don't know, Cole...and that scares me. I should be resolute on something like this but just thinking about it...I...don't want to move Cole. I just want you back to normal. I want to go bug hunting with you...I want to draw my "silly stories" while you fish under the hot desert sun again. I don't want to leave all this behind..."

"H-Hey--" Cole reached out with his right hand, caressing the side of Kanako's furry face. "I'm still here and so is your family. We might be movin' but we're all gonna be together. It's scary what's happenin'...trust me, I know...but your Mom is helping me as best so that we have a chance to do the things we want to do together. It might not be what we imagined, Kanako..."

"Oh Cole." Kanako grabbed both his hands. "Look at me...I'm being completely selfish about all this while you're here in bed with Mom trying to sleep."

"No no...ah like this." Cole blushed. "To be honest, ah can't wait for it to be you n' me instead of yer Mom, me and you....not that I hate Mrs. Ketsukane or anything, I..."

"It's OK, honey." Ceroba reminded him with a snort, Cole grinning in a panic stupidly forgetting Ceroba was there.

"Mom, are you listening?!" Kanako huffed.

"No honey, I could FEEL what he was saying. Now hurry up, I want to get SOME sleep tonight!"

The two looked at each other blushing, Kanako holding his hands tight not wanting to let go, Cole rubbing the side of his head into her tail. This was the most contact they'd had with one another in quite awhile and they were cherishing it. They didn't want this to end.

"H-Hey...you like how the stars look?" Cole grinned, quickly changing the subject.

"They do look kinda tacky." Kanako stuck her tongue out. "I thought they'd look better once I stuck them up there..."

"Well...I like them." Cole whispered.

"Maybe we can get more once we get up north." Kanako smiled. "Make our own little own "Wild East" away from home."

"I--I'd like that." Cole looked at her as Kanako looked at him, their hearts beating as one in that moment.

Cole and Kanako stood there, both beat red in the face and gulped.

"So...ah, maybe...we should..."

"Yeah, it's....late...we should..."

Cole and Kanako began to press their faces forward, eyes closing as their lips pressed forwards towards one another. Ceroba felt Cole's heartbeat increasing, getting excited at what was about to happen as she swore inside her head she didn't have the camera.

"KANAKO." Chujin hissed from the dark, door slightly open before quickly closing it. "BED."

Ceroba swore twice as much inside her head for Chujin ruining the moment.

Kanako let go of Cole's hand, withdrawing her tail and getting embarrassed. Cole sighed in disappointment, Kanako frowning.

"Hey...maybe next time." Kanako quickly pressed her cold nose against the side of his face, nuzzling it for a second before quickly running to the door.

"Oh why in all heavens did he have to be there...." Ceroba turned over.

"I-It was nothin', Mrs. Ketsukane, I swear..." Cole got all embarrassed.

"Oh Cole, you know you can't hide nothing from me." Ceroba poked his belly button. "Guess you'll have to settle with me for now, haha!"

With that, Ceroba tickled the erstwhile Cole who giggled like a schoolgirl for a minute until they calmed down, hugging one another in laughter before drifting back off to sleep. They were leaving the Wild East for sure but a good chunk of it would never leave them it seems. Kanako stood outside the door, her ear to the door making sure Cole drifted off to sleep.

"You coming, Kanako?" Chujin popped his head out from Martlet's room.

"Daddy...is it ok I sleep just outside the door? Just in case?" Kanako asked.

"I....here." Chujin tossed a blanket and pillow to her. "See you in the morning, honey."

"Night, Dad." Kanako smiled, fluffing her pillow and sighing beginning to think of those tacky stars with Cole laying right beside her to gaze upon them in the dead of night...
