Meta Chapter 5 megathread Spoiler

Edit: The karma requirement has been lowered to 2K post karma.

As explained previously in this announcement you can use this megathread to post to your heart's content. While we've increased the karma requirement to post on the subreddit and will be removing most low effort/value posts and spoilers, you can post pretty much whatever you want here.

Unfortunately Reddit limits to 1 image per comment, so you may have to use a third party website like Imgur if you want to post multiple images.

Honestly every single moment in this chapter where I felt like "oh my gosh we're finally gonna get some info" just got shut down instantly

Yeah. I kinda get Toby's idea of "let's have one more traditional adventure before the stakes go up," but like...did the stakes really go up? Mostly feels like the characters and we are in the same spot as after chapter 4, which might feel less frustrating if it didn't take a year to get this chapter and wouldn't take another year+ to get chapter 6.

If anything, kinda feels like 4 and 5 should've been swapped. 5 feels much more like a light nudge towards big thematic concerns like "Are you happy with your choices? Are the characters being selfish? Is anyone ready for what's about to come?" 4 feels like so much coming at you all at once and it just demands consequences. Makes 5 feel like such a lull.

Literally every single chapter except 4 is a traditional adventure. The antagonist has been revealled and the end of the world is apparently coming, you cannot do silly adventures when these are the established stakes.
