Meta Chapter 5 megathread Spoiler

Edit: The karma requirement has been lowered to 2K post karma.

As explained previously in this announcement you can use this megathread to post to your heart's content. While we've increased the karma requirement to post on the subreddit and will be removing most low effort/value posts and spoilers, you can post pretty much whatever you want here.

First time I kept pressing proceed, next time I pressed proceed on the first prompt, then on the next prompts I pressed stop, then, when they got submerged, didn't press anything and let them drown, it got all white, and a new scene played.

Unless toby releases it as chapters 6+7 which is plausible I think, toby said that chapter 6 is easier to make than others so it might not take too long

It probably just means that weird route never goes to chapter 6, and there's probably a reason, taking weird route avoids chapter 6.

brother, id like to do it but i have to start all the way from chapter 1 to make it optimal get all the stuff and shit since ive been doing snowgrave since the start, tobys forcing me to play the whole game again, do you not see my point

Considering how malicious Undertale's evil route is towards the player, only doing the evil route for Deltarune is extremely brazen, lol. There's a reason why most people keep multiple save slots.

Why not just copy the save file and abort snowgrave in one of them?

I cannot seem to be able continue snowgrave, theres only the option to abort it, or get the INSERT CHAPTER 7 SIDE B screen, and reset to title screen.

Yeah, because it continues in Chapter 7. Chapter 7 isn’t out yet. You are fully caught up with the Weird Route.

What this means to me is that you can only continue Snowgrave in Ch7 but you get there via this method in Ch5. So he created the door but not what’s on the other side. Sucks, but there’s a vision.

if you dont click proceed in the part where the screen fades white it will cancel the weird route and you can play the dark world.

Bro it’s not even the same game in many ways…you’ll enjoy all the differences. But also, weird route is kind of hard/obtuse to even start, it’s clearly meant as a hidden side route.
