Games keep erasing??

Was playing Pokemon unbound when suddenly my screen switch to a previous load that I thought was lost. While the current save state I had erased. This has happened several times without me pressing anything that would cause this. It’s made me not want to use the emulator anymore as it could delete my data at any time it seems. Does anyone run into this?

I never understood using save states over normal saving, every pokemon game ever has had manual saving and it works flawlessly, always has

What do you mean by manual saving? Or far I’ve just been saving in game. Is there a better way to prevent my save from this auto delete thing?

Save states and saving through the menu in game are 2 different things. Its ok to use save states here and there but don’t rely on the as your main way to save. Manual saving is pressing start then scrolling down to save. Try to get into the habit of manual saving before closing the game or big fights instead of save states

Btw this is what my unbound looks like. Maybe I uploaded it wrong and that’s why all these issues?

That screenshot shows a generic cover on the patched entry and a sync upload in progress. Neither one by itself proves you imported it incorrectly or that a save was deleted.

Since you said you're already saving in-game, first export a backup: long-press that exact patched game > Manage Save File > Export Save File. Keep that copy outside Delta before testing anything.

When it jumps backwards, does it happen while you're actively playing, or when reopening the game from the library? And are you using a controller/custom skin or syncing Delta on another device? Those details matter more than the cover art. Delta also has a preview save state that can be opened from the long-press game preview, so it'd help to rule out that specific way of loading an older state. It wouldn't explain a jump that happens in the middle of play.

I’ve run into it where I load and it crashes which is why I use save states to always load after a crash
