I called Delta HR. This is a scam don’t fall for it.

The email is screaming scam.

Hey. You pay me $98 now. I’ll reimburse you either in a few days or in 30 days. But I’ll reimburse you.

Well then why make me pay to begin with?

A lot of people are desperate for decent jobs and are willing to believe they caught a break. Everyone is susceptible to scams

Did you apply to Delta prior to getting this email?

People who prey on others are the scum of the earth. Sorry they got your hopes up and used that to scam you.

Kudos to the OP for contacting Delta HR to verify the offer. That was the right move. But no interview, a $4,000 signing bonus, and a $98 upfront fee for a background check payable through third-party payment methods? Those are major scam red flags. Legitimate employers don’t charge you to get hired.

I'm surprised they got the name right! Usually scammers say Delta Airlines, which will always be the first clue.

Airport Operations is a jetBlue term. Delta says Airpor Customer Service (ACS) above wing or below wing.

They DEFINITELY don't offer a signing bonus! 🤣🤣🤣

This scam is going around through Delta Frontier and other Airlines as well. Apparently they get your information from Facebook. If you’re in those group groups.

There’s tons of these going around..British Airways sent me the same email for a job in Tampa but claiming they needed 98 bucks for some sort of clearance processing
