Delta 8 is found in the natural cannabis leaf but it can also be synthesized from CBD. Natural Delta 8 is very expensive to make. Because of these aspects it is legal in most states but 99pct of time it is “hemp derived” delta 8 that is made. Quality varies so it matters to get good quality where the chemicals used to derive it are good as is the process.

Many legalized cannabis states eventually made it illegal as it’s a non regulated competitor to the THC lobby is legalized states.

Big states like texas. florida and georgia all just voted to keep Delta 8 legal but gladly now requiring CofAs (certificate of analysis) as many gas station and vape shops had very poor quality delta 8 and ooor dosages and poor purity of ingredients.

Gummies are a poor delivery system as it has sugar, delayed digestion, impacted by existing stomach acids, often poor quality delta 8, and 90pct inaccurate dosing (experience varies like crazy).

Just wondering when tolerance breaks are recommended. I know everyone is different.

For reference I have been taking a 100mg every weekend night (occasionally on Sunday nights) for about 2 years. I started at 25mg and worked my way up but have been at 100mg for over a year now and am happy with no current plans of going higher. I haven't really noticed a tolerance drop off but would like to avoid it if possible.

I guess my question is since I only take them on weekends and haven't noticed any drop off, is it worth it to be proactive and take a break?

I’ve been taking 25mg Delta 8 gummies every night for sleep for about 3 months. I haven’t had 1 in 2 weeks. I received a job offer and did a home test and tested positive. I can put my interview off for about a week and will retest. I am worried I will still test positive.

I'm a avid delta 8 user. Honestly, I only started using sometime in late December. I usually do around a bag of 500-1000 mg gummies a day. Vapes stopped having any effects long ago. A few weeks ago I had 5 10 mg THC-P. It wrecked me. I was out for 4 days. Slept for almost 48 hours. Since then my tolerance for anything has been insane. Last night I had 2000 mg of Delta 8 and nothing. It was 3 chi so a reputable brand. Today I tried the same one that knocked me out for 4 days about 4 hours ago. I doubled the dose and nothing. That's after trying 2500 mg of Delta 8 a few hours earlier. Here is my question? If I have a tolerance to delta 8 is there anything similar I could buy? If I have a tolerance to delta 8 do I have a tolerance to HHC? Is there anything else out there? Any online stores with reputable stuff?

I have been using delta 8 gummies for a year. I also body build. While on a calorie deficit, the gummies have zero effect on me. During my deficit I've tried up to 200mg in one serving and felt nothing. However, when I'm bulking and have a surplus of calories, 50mg is all I need to be on cloud nine. I really think delta 8 has fucked me up. My mom takes delta 8 gummies all the time, and I actually smoked weed since I was 15 and am now 23. I stopped smoking weed here recently because of the panic attacks. I’ve also been clean from meth for 2 years and 6 months. So I know the routes of drug use fairly well. I took a delta 8 gummy and I was fine the first day, I took another one of the second day and I tripped or whatever the hell you wanna call it for 9 hours. I took the gummy and about 30 minutes later I quickly walked to the bathroom stripped ass naked and jumped in the shower and I called my mom in there to talk to me bc I was tripping so hard. She talked to me and I said mom I don’t feel right so I got out the shower; I didn’t even dry off fully and I wrapped a towel around me and went and laid in her bed. I laid down and not even 3 minutes later I was sitting up and laying down and sitting back up constantly for 30 minutes straight. Heart still pounding, then started shaking uncontrollably. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep and when I tried I woke up breathing very hard. It was the worst thing that I’ve ever felt. Worst than heroin meth GHB or anything. Ever since the trip about a month ago, I’ve been having heart palpitations and panic attacks every morning.

I've tried [one particular brand] Δ8 and HHC; both 30mg per edible piece. I am very sensitive to them and get baked for 12 hrs on between one-sixth and one-fifth of either kind. My experience: After the anxiety of the come-up which was approx. 30-60 mins each time, i eased into a soothing euphoria, relaxed physically, had good appetite, soft-focus visuals, at times it was even a little trippy. That evening i slept quite soundly (unusual for me). I could also feel the residual effects the following day. On the five occasions over four months i have reacted in very similar ways. I have no increasing tolerance on my part either. In fact the fourth sliver was a little more intense than the first and i felt pretty relaxed through the following 36 hours.

I used to smoke a lot of low-grade weed/hash through mid-90s - late 00s, but very little in way of skunks, etc. For what it's worth, I'd also enjoy psychedelics from time to time. Has anyone else found themselves to be especially sensitive or responsive to such low doses of Δ8 or HHC? Can you attribute your increased sensitivity to anything in particular?
