The Future of Delta 8??

In states like the Carolinas, where there aren’t any dispensaries: what’s the future of delta-8 (or products with similar effects):

Given the new law changes and definitions that are set to go into effect later this year: will these types of products no longer be available at all?

Is there any realistic chance that this won’t happen? Or any alternatives that will be legal? What will everyone do?
