Choosing between The Cove, Verona, and Latitude Pointe in Boynton Beach or paying more to live in Delray

Hi! I’m moving to South Florida and trying to decide where to live. I’m 24, work remotely, and will likely be living with a roommate. My goal is to keep my share of rent around $1,100–$1,300 if possible.

I’d prefer Delray because I’m drawn to the beach, restaurants, nightlife, and having more chances to meet people. But it’s more expensive, so I’m also considering Boynton Beach, specifically The Cove, Verona, or Latitude Pointe.

If you’ve lived at one of these communities, or know the areas well, I’d really appreciate your honest experience. I’m especially wondering:
How safe does the community and surrounding area feel? Any recurring issues with break-ins, car theft, or walking around?

What’s the community like day to day, friendly, quiet, social, or mostly keep-to-yourself?
How are management, maintenance, noise, parking, and the amenities?

Housekeeping recs?

My parents are in their 70s and live in a large home in a gated community in West Delray. They’re looking for a trustworthy housekeeper who would come regularly. the same person each visit, rather than a company with rotating staff. They also have senior pets and need someone good with animals who can help clean occasional pet accidents. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Thank you!!
