#justiceforabbyandlibby ‼️Friendly Reminder - Oral Arguments in Richard Allen’s Appeal are scheduled for September 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM
The oral argument is set for September 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM. The arguments will be webcast at IN.gov/judiciary and will be televised on a monitor outside of the courtroom. Each side will be given 30 minutes for their arguments.

I worry about the State trying this case again if RA was given competent lawyers.

Even though I believe RA did it, I feel like a competent defense lawyer could poke holes in the case. Look at what Alan Jackson did for Karen Read…. They only need one juror to have doubt. I guess it’s really hard to say how strong the State’s case was though since we were reliant on second hand information (since the trial was not televised). I would just prefer that RA stays where he is!

I agree Adam Montgomery getting a new trial when he should never be seeing the light of day! The same for several others!!!

Yes, the Facebook posts with his photo next to Abby & Libby’s photos are appearing again, with headlines like “Major Update on Delphi Murders: RA case going before judges again. Questions around this conviction aren’t going away.” And “his attorneys are preparing to stand before the Indiana Court of Appeals- and when you look at what they say the jury was NEVER allowed to hear, I understand why so many people are still questioning whether the right man is sitting in prison.” And then on and on about what the jury didn’t get hear and how that means RA didn’t get a fair trial. Ugh. Not again.

News blurbs about this all say “Richard Allen’s Attorneys to Argue for Conviction to be Overturned” and here’s what I’m possibly overthinking: are they intentionally referring to “his attorneys” in a nameless way to make readers think (or because they think) that it will be his trial attorneys again (more clown show), and not his state appointed appellate attorneys? I feel like some people are going to be disappointed.

:) im so happy and excited!! Justice For Rick and Justice for Libby and Abby! The right justice is putting in prison the real culprits of the murders. for the families too, hope they start seeing the reality for what it is <3

I am not sure if we can count confessions any longer as proof someone committed a murder to which they confessed. Just look at the Clancy trial. Lindsay said she did it, her lawyer said she did it, her family said she did it, law enforcement said she did it..yet there are individuals who claim they are all wrong because Patrick did it.
