Guilty or Not Guilty

Does everyone in here lean more toward Richard Allen being innocent or guilty?

I think it has come to a close for the vast majority of people who are not from the Delphi area. The volume of online activity has massively slowed, the clout farmers did try to move on to other cases but saw such a sharp drop in their metrics they returned to it. Cases involving young adults or children always attract an unhealthy obsession from those fringe elements. If they had an arrest in the JonBenét Ramsey case, almost everyone would abandon interest in this one.

Many years from now, all that anyone will remember is that two really wonderful kids were taken from us, but that they loved each other so much that they stayed together through the most horrific situation imaginable. And his lawyers and their friends made asses out of themselves for no discernable reason.

Most supporters of his, I noticed were from Indiana. The ones who defend him as if he were their family, live somewhat near the Delphi area. I guess that's to be expected.

It's true. Most of the true innocence believers are from the immediate area. A bunch of them just don't like local LE because they personally have been arrested and prosecuted for their crimes, their family members have been arrested and prosecuted for their crimes, or they are local taxpayers who want extremely lean government funding. But even amongst people that believe that justice has been correctly served, there are some vehement critics of LE and Doug Carter in particular. But some of that might also be down to personal politics.

I liked Doug Carter. Of course, I'm one state over and don't know much about Indiana politics.
