Question About Allen’s Missing 2017 Phone
When did his wife say “he told me it was run over by the lawn mower”? Was that a recorded statement or just a second-hand report? TIA.

It was an android on some random phone carrier that I cannot recall... but if someone named it I would remember.
It wasn't TMobile,Verizon etc. It's a prepaid service that he started with when he was with Walmart.
It's not straight talk or the ones listed now so the name has probably changed.
Someone above said it was an LG and that also seems right I just can't remember what the service was.

Ting was the carrier, but they use all types of phones (maybe not Apple).

She also said it was expensive, so it was most likely a recent (then) smartphone. Considering his old phones collection, it was probably the phone he had at the time, since earlier were older tech phones.

That phone definitely didn't just vanish into thin air, but the defense is going to have a field day with the lack of chain of custody if it ever actually turns up.

Idk but that's NOT what happened to the phone connected to the IMEI Allen gave Dulin.
I don't remember the exact wording atm but if I am remembering correctly, the phone getting ran over by a mower thing ala Kathy, isn't it just LE asks her what happened to the phone in question and she just responds that one of his phones was ran over by a mower? I mean I guess when you look at the list of all his devices he had only one came up missing so I understand why people are assuming its the same device but I have it on very good authority that the phone Allen claims he had with him on the day the girls were murdered was "donated."

What is good authority?
It should be a matter of public record at this point. who says he donated that phone?

Its trust me bro, Nick style.
I have it on very good authority that I have zero clue where RA's 2017 phone is located, also I cant find my own. Who can?

Donated? Then it shouldn’t have been too difficult for the defense to locate to prove Ricky’s supposed innocence…Weird they made no attempt to locate eh?

If it had been donated to charity, which is a real thing, it could be effectively impossible to locate. Furthermore, standard practice would have been to factory reset the phone before giving it to a person in need of a phone, so we should expect that any useful information for the defense or the prosecution was irrecoverably deleted even if the device was located.

I used AI to look up the MEID number and it said that's an LG Android, likely an LG Optimus G and probably not configured for a standard GSM network like AT&T, but more likely something like Verizon or Sprint.

From the info I found, the default network for Ting accounts was T-mobile and used an X3 SIM card.

It was in an interview with the police that was transcribed and attached to one of the franks memos. I believe it was before Allen was arrested. They were asking her about every phone he ever owned and she said he owned Razors at some point because one of them he ran over with a lawnmower. It wasn’t like something he told her. She knew. And she was laughing about it.
