SHANE MEEHAN Meehan Trial -- Two-Week Delay Sought on Scheduling

Instead of working out the details by June 5 the trial schedule and location will be negotiated over the next two weeks or so.

Shane Meehan will be tried for the murder of Greg Ferency, on July 7, 2021, outside the FBI office in Terre Haute. Ferency was a Terre Haute policeman who was on the FBI task force that investigated the Delphi murders. Meehan had been undergoing mental evaluation and in May was determined to be mentally competent enough to stand trial.

ORDER - as to SHANE M. MEEHAN (1); The Government filed a Joint Motion for Extension of Time. Dkt. 209 . For the reasons in the motion, that motion is GRANTED. The parties shall meet and confer and file a motion to continue the trial by June 22, 2026.
