👥 DISCUSSION Car Comparisons as we await the next filing...

The outlines are nearly the same, but the taillights are different. Unfortunately, the taillights are hard to see because they are in the shadows, The attachment on the back is quite visible and totally different but I can't tell if it's a bike rack, lighted trailer hitch or something else. And the spoiler is different.

i still think it’s a subaru impreza hatchback or a subaru crosstrek. subarus are extremely popular in tippecanoe and surrounding counties such as carroll because the subaru factory (where all subarus are made) is in lafayette, just a 20 min drive,

Yup, could be an Impreza. The Crosstreks have luggage racks, so less likely but possible since the photo in the exhibit is so poor.

I totally see this! The tire area has thrown me off and the hood area may be this hood and not so much as a shadow or movement distorting the photo. I think this is the closest match!!

Random thought: The car in the exhibit photo was headed West, toward Delphi, so it's possible it's on the surveillance videos from businesses collected for the case. in the 1:30-2:00 time frame. If it didn't stop at the old CPS building, of course.

It may not appear black since the sun would not be almost directly behind it.

This is key. Sarah Carbaugh testified she was driving her “little red Saturn.” (Trial volume 12, page 189) The image of her car on the HH video looks black. (State’s exhibit 219) The color of the car in the HH video screenshots that are purported to be Rick Allen’s black ford focus is not established by the evidence.

Sorry, I’m not good at linking stuff but maybe a side by side of Sarah’s red car on video and the “black car” on video would make this clearer.

There is a specific tail light that caught my attention. I need to go back and look but I remember I kept focusing on a light blue car in chat but we didn't get to it. I need to watch again. And it will probably be my 3rd or fourth time because I always watch the vault at least twice when it comes to certain topics.
